A Trade To Boost The Bucs? Todd Bowles Isn’t Stoked

October 26th, 2022

Bucs coach Todd Bowles.

Forgive Joe for trying to put a smiley face on things and trying to look at the positive because it sure smells like the Bucs are about to take a dive off a cliff.

The Bucs, many have missed, are tied for first place in the woeful NFC South. So despite playing really awful football the past 10 quarters that is so bad it gives Joe ugly flashbacks to the depths of the Lost Decade, the Bucs are not remotely out of a shot at the playoffs.

Granted, right now a wild card berth seems absurd. But the Bucs could still win the division. So might the Bucs go shopping to find players to plug much-needed holes?

Just a couple of hours before the Eagles acquired Pro Bowl defensive end Robert Quinn from the Bears this afternoon for a fourth-round pick, Bucs coach Todd Bowles was asked about getting trading for players before next week’s deadline.

Bowles seemed disinterested.

“If something comes across our table that we’re interested in and we think we can get some value, sure we’ll look at it,” he said.

Now Joe doesn’t know if the losing has gotten Bowles down like it has fans. But dang, c’mon Coach, you don’t seem too eager at a chance to boost your roster to fix things for a playoff run.

Given the talent on the Bucs and having Mr. Tom Brady behind center, the Bucs could be a very, very scary team to face in January. Certainly a dangerous team.

“Value” shouldn’t be the priority. The season has played out to a level that Joe cannot type with any degree of certainty that heads won’t roll after the season. It’s been that bad.

Why not sound eager about plugging gaping holes and maybe securing a division title? Joe would think anyone would understand Team Glazer might not have such an urge to unload people if the Bucs make the playoffs.

F@rt around and miss the playoffs with a losing record (with a healthy Tom Brady)? All bets are off in Joe’s eyes. Who knows what will happen if that occurs.

Go get players while you have a shot and make sure missing the playoffs doesn’t transpire. That is unless folks at One Buc Palace have already thrown in the towel on 2022.

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m.

  1. gotbbucs Says:

Trade Devin White for Roquan Smith straight up.

  2. Ben Harvey Says:

I guess I’m not shocked by the answer. “Yes Joe, in fact Jason is talking to so and so right now about to offer a 2nd for Payne”. Guy will keep things tight until the deal is done.

  3. OrlandoBucFan Says:

At this point, we need an upgrade at left guard. Screw value! Get the best guard available (as long as it is a real upgrade) and pay the cost.

  4. Goatfarmer Says:

Won’t even sign plug and play guys like Suh or Tretter which cost nothing other than “cap room.”

I am disgusted and nauseated at these coaching frauds and clowns.

Wonder who Licht hire as the new HC when the Glazers force him to fire Bowelswich once they are mathematically eliminated from winning the division?

  5. Bucfan1988 Says:

I also support the Devin for Roquan trade!!!
Devin’s arrogance has really contributed to his fall….

  6. Cobraboy Says:

The team needs an upgrade in heart, head, and leadership.

  7. sasquatch Says:

The way things are going “value” shouldn’t be the priority.

On the contrary, at this point it’s pretty clear we’re going nowhere this year. Bringing outside guys into a sinking ship isn’t going to save this year. At this point, we’re looking at the future, not wasting draft capital on players who can’t save us. I’d welcome a trade for a good young player who’s got a chance to be with us for a while. Value is always a part of the equation.

  8. sasquatch Says:

I’d also support trading away Devin White if we could get a 3rd rounder or better, or a good young player at another position.

  9. Cobraboy Says:

It’s clear Bowles does NOT like being second-guessed.

  10. Darin Says:

You’re dang right value shouldn’t be on his mind right now. The guy is lacking urgency. Every coach no matter their record should want guys who can improve their team. Man this staff is rubbing off on this team. Shoulda got Quinn just like I said three or so years ago. If this staff lays an egg tomorrow I hope someone gets canned. They sure sound too content for me

  11. DungyDance Says:

Trading someone away (and getting someone in return to plug the hole) might also help to jolt the other guys. Like saying “you could be next,” and giving the unacceptable chatter some real substance behind it. Remember the movie Moneyball, when Brad Pitt’s character trades away Giambi?

  12. PassingThru Says:

The patient is bleeding to death, and Dr. Bowles is waiting for bandages to go on sale.

  13. SufferingSince76 Says:

Head in the sand. All is well.

You’re dang right value shouldn’t be on his mind right now.

Apparently some people misunderstand the meaning of the term value. It doesn’t mean dollar-store throw away crap. It means what you give up isn’t greater than what you give in return. Ideally, you give up less than what you get in return. That’s what value means. If you ask a coach or a GM about a trade, of course value is important. Why should he respond in any other way? This team is not going to the Superbowl this year. The problems aren’t going to be fixed by bringing in a big name player at this point in the season.

The same people who b!tch about value talk are the first in line to b!tch when a trade ends up not fixing what you imagine it’s going to fix.

  15. beano Says:

2020 is gone with the wind. Trade Tom and start building the future.

  16. macajubav Says:

Bowels has incredibly low self awareness and EI ! The guy uses sarcasm to communicate and is terribly passive aggressive. Rarely shows aggression, right passive !!! He is roaring inside but does not know how to express except using the weak mans sarcasm rather than speak directly. You ask him about roster upgrades, he doesn’t like it and calmly states we will look if value comes across, Passive agressive, this guy is pathetic !!!! reminds me of a prior business partner, made no decisions, incapable !!!! How did JL and BA allow this joke to become HC. They must have thought with Brady all was possible, then Giselle created a train wreck.

  17. CChead Says:

If it’s broke don’t fix it. Is that how that saying goes?

  18. Hodad Says:

Joe, it’s the GM Licht you should be asking about trades, that’s his job not Bowles. His answer was what it should be.

  19. Richard Says:

First of all…does anyone really think the bears would trade Roquan Smith straight up for 45? If so, it’s time someone told you that there’s no Santa Claus. Finally fans are realizing that 45 is nor a premier player, far from it. Secondly, Bowles doesn’t seem to get fired up and excited over anything and I think his personality has rubbed off on this team. Every game this year, even the winning ones, we’ve been the team that’s being out hustled and has a distinct lack of aggressiveness and enthusiasm….a classic case of an organization with the traits of its leader! I really put a lot of blame on BA…there were a lot of better coaches available but we went with the nepotism….Sean Payton comes to mind immediately….

  20. CChead Says:

Bucs could have Kareem Hunt for a 4th round pick.

  21. dmatt Says:

Look like the eagles are serious about winning it all. They got the person I hoped for us to aggressively go after in Robert Quinn. Guest we’re content with Gage, Hicks, JJones, n Leftwich. Bowles lightbulb won’t come on till it’s too late, then poof, be gone! Same thing happened to Dungy, Lovie, n Koetter, they all refused to get aggressive n creative. We need a few key pieces to get back on on track, but nawwww, we’re fine with the status quo of garbage in garbage out which is taking us back down memory lane. Then again, maybe Bowles’ got an ace up his sleeves.

  22. Buc Fan in Atl Says:

Unfortunately, we have 28 more Bowles games as the Glazers won’t fire him until he’s had 2 seasons of disaster. It’s back to square one, boys.

  23. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Bowles and Leftwich have already done enough to alienate the fan base. It’s delusional to think Bucs will win the division. Even if they were to, they would be embarrassed. Glazers should think long game but they’ve mortgaged the future on some of these horrible contracts thanks to Licht. This team needs another mersa cleaning. Rudolph, Darden, Gage, Perriman, Miller, Vaughn, Jones, Hicks have proven to be busts. Trade Vea and D. White before the deadline.

  24. BucBallin Says:

Can we trade Bowels for a bag of used footballs? We’d gain value in that trade.

  25. Craig Says:

Not a trade, but he could pull Tompkins and Grayson up from the practice squad. The offense needs all of the help it can ghet.

  26. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Joe

The Glazer Boys won’t fire this Head Coach. Even if the Bucs tank the rest of the season…

This goober will get another season (perhaps two more) before they have the gumption.

  27. CrackWise Says:

All of you SO CALLED BUCS FANS.

When was the last time you have seen this team play SO POORLY and STILL BE IN FIRST PLACE???

Stop with all of your CRYING and DOOM AND GLOOM.

We have a first-place team that is FINDING ways to win just ENGOUH games right now to keep us in it UNTIL we get things figured out.

Under Brady and THESE SAME COACHES. We have started Slow every season.

Who here is REALLY going to COMPLAIN and CRY about the RESULTS!!!

NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU CRYBABIES THINK. Do yourselves a favor and take up watching Soap operas or something vs POSTING YOUR GARBADE TEARS that no one cares about.

  28. Winny Testaverde Says:

Your career and reputation are on the line Bowles…and you appear to have “low T”…where’s Joe’s ad for it when we need it?!

I wonder what Arians is thinking? Deep down is it a single finger salute to Brady if he did indeed move him along? What a mess…

  29. Goatfarmer Says:

I fear Marienbuc is right, hence my brand new prescriptions for Xanax, OxyContin, Demerol and Valium to go along with my black market procurement of quaaludes.

And ever increasing consumption of ethanol.

How quickly it can go from palace to outhouse. Our future was sealed by Toad’s failure in the last 45 seconds of the aborted Rams playoff game.

The defense hasn’t made a 4th quarter stop since. That gutted the heart and soul of the team and Toad as head coach is like putting Vaseline on a gunshot wound.

He enables Leftwurst Gump to be the most egregious failure ever at offensive coordinator.

    Fork these clowns.

I hope the RayJay has two 110 decibel chants tomorrow night:

    “Fire Byron”

    “Bring back BA!”

    Useless.

  30. SB~LV Says:

    Bye bye Bowles

  31. Ultra ClodHopper Says:

huh. Cant believe this wet sock has a bored team.

  32. Beej Says:

Quinn is 32. HOW many complaints have we heard here about all the old players on the injured list?

  33. Ultra ClodHopper Says:

What kind of music does he play at practice, Pink Floyd and Radiohead?

  34. Jerseybuc Says:

Because that all robotic bowels gives you. All monotone bull S. Look at the club they really took that personally on

  35. stpetebucfan Says:

As usual I agree with Cobra.

“The team needs an upgrade in heart, head, and leadership.”

Indeed! This team has plenty of talent. I used to have plenty of heart, head and leadership. Although I do have many bad memories of cement headed play I’ve never seen the lack of heart and leadership in this year’s team. And this goes all the way to the top..TB12. His body language is not good. Perhaps Giselle has left an unfillable hole in his heart.

Nobody wants to consider it because as we know this site is full of badarse macho men. But have none of you ever had a broken heart or relationship problems. It might sound easy to just “deal” with them or sweep them under the rug but I’m not sure TB12 has found it that “easy”!

  36. stpetebucfan Says:

I forgot the t..,LMAO…I’ve had plenty of heart not sure about leadership and smarts.

  37. unbelievable Says:

I was begging them to trade for Quinn since this summer.

The team isn’t all-in this year. It’s as simple as that.

  38. Tye Says:

The problem IS Bowels SO unless you trade his sorry coaching butt, the Bucs aren’t improving!

  39. CrackWise Says:

    #4FingersInTheAIR!

  40. Goatfarmer Says:

Any player acquired would immediately enter into the Toad’s Bowel of comas. This fraud can ruin any great player. Want evidence? The fact that your 2022 Yucs are emulating your Raheehaw 2011 Bucs. But at least Raheehaw had those guys at 4-2 before they decided quitting was better.

This team quit during the Steelers game and will not recover. It’s 2011 all over again. Accept it, drink heavilierest and consume drugs.

  41. Marine Buc Says:

    @ Goat

    LOL!!!

I guess the one thing I do like about Todd Bowles is when he gives his post game interviews – I can close my eyes and pretend our head coach is Cleveland from the “Family Guy” series…

Question: So coach – when are you going to fire BL?

    Answer: “Oh that’s naaasty”

  42. unbelievable Says:

@Marine – yes, and I feel like calling someone a butth0le is exactly what Cleveland would do lol

  43. Redeemer Says:

Agree with sasquatch. From a purely GM perspective, why would you add a player for draft picks at this point. The team has shown no signs of life. Somebody to get you over the hump is one thing. Pissing away draft capital for a team that’s going nowhere is another. You can have Nelson Agholor and Isaiah Winn. I’m sure Bill would part with both for a couple fifths. Again, why would you take on salary for a dead ass team.

  44. Listnfrmafar Says:

Never thought I see the day that Brady’s influence can’t get players to come to the Bucs. After reading this I doubt he uses any more credibility to entice players to join a Bowels team. What player wants to play for a two time looser???

  45. Anonymous Says:

What’s a two time looser ?? Does that mean both shoes are untied ??

  46. Davenport Says:

Eagles – all out trying to win the SB
Niners – all out trying to win the SB

Bowles – “we’ll look at it” – that say’s it all.

How anyone can respect this man is beyond me.

  47. Bucanero Says:

No boost but rather cuts. Bucs have the talent.

  48. Brent M Clark Says:

Or maybe they ARE shopping and keeping close to the vest to try to get as much out of what we have…. many guys would give up if they know we picked up a better replacement for them. We need this win as ugly as it may be, next week let’s see who’s onboard or not!

  49. Bobby M. Says:

Maybe Licht makes a move for a lineman?….other than that, we have an exceptional amount of talent, it’s coaching/scheming that we’re struggling with.

  50. orlbucfan Says:

Hey Crackdumbbell, I’ve been a staunch Bucs fan for 43 years. I know Sh!t franchises from the top down. I want Brady GONE!! The Bucs fielded their best overall team when they won their second SB, and set modern NFL history. All they needed was a competent QB. BL, whatever, but I feel sorry for Bowles. I will not listen to the wipeout tomorrow night.

  51. cmurda Says:

Trade to boost the Bucs? Maybe, maybe not. How about some common sense at the top with the coaching staff. That will definitely “boost” the team.

  52. cmurda Says:

I’m usually towing the line with you Marine but not on this one. If Todd continues to plummet downward, Glazers might have to pull the plug quick. I definitely can’t see a 2nd year. If it goes as it is, we won’t even win this cruddy division. This has been humiliating with this much talent. Nah, I think Todd gets the hook by week 16 if it’s looking hardly better than this. I hope it gets right. Todd is a very likeable dude.

  53. Chris Karter Says:

some of yall are the worst. stick to fantasy football and being a couch gm on madden please. I really hope no players or their families read this garbage yall spew. Football is the ultimate team sport. Disappointing season so far? absolutely. let’s all stfu til the season is over and TRY to just be optimistic. we have Brady. we have a decent defense. plenty of time to turn this ship around, and Bowles is a good coach. drop the nonsense.

cobra boy; you nailed it! There are some people that don’t like their authority questioned. his way or the highway

  55. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Lovie 2.0

  56. Rod Munch Says:

I don’t really see how they’d trade for anyone, or who they’d trade for. They have no cap space available, and while, yes, you can still probably find a little money, somewhere, the Bucs have already done just about every trick in the book to create space, and you still need space for any future injuries. There’s a reason why Hicks and Jones are on the roster and never went to IR, it’s because you’d have to pay a replacement player – they’re that close to the cap.

The only place, maybe, where you might do something is at an ultra cheap position like returner. If there is a proven guy out there on a rookie deal, I’d gladly give up something of value to get them. But not many teams put resources into the return game anymore, which is why returning is so bad across the NFL — and why Darden is actually a middle of the pack returner. Years ago he’d be by far the worst, now he’s average, that’s how far standards have fallen for the return game.

  57. Michael Says:

Dont matter . Bowles will probably be fired at seasons end .
I was told by a very good source close to Brady that Brady is moving to Miami at the end of the season . I wont name names but the person that told me this is a pitcher in MLB .

  58. CrackWise Says:

Chris Karter WITH THE MOST BASED THING SAID on JBF in WEEKS!!!

Every last one of you should take note of Chris Karter

If you fail to see Chris Karter point. You are the ones that are FAILING this team the MOST

  59. Michael Says:

This person did not say if Brady plans to continue to play but from our conversation i think he was hinting at Brady working for the Miami Dolphins in some capacity . Front office maybe .

  60. CrackWise Says:

  61. Tvan101 Says:

The Bowles statue on the sideline needs to go.

  62. Rod Munch Says:

BTW, for those asking about why we didn’t trade for Quinn, this is why…

“With seven games under his belt, the Eagles will owe him approximately $7.5 million the rest of the season. ”

Looking at the Bucs salary hits for cutting or trading someone, I don’t even see how they could do it at all – you’d have to do something radical like cut Dean & SMB & Mike Edwards & Nacho & Succop – and then you’re getting close to creating the free space you’d need.

Part of the reason why the Bucs are even in worse cap space than expected from last year is mainly due to Marpet retiring, that hit the team for $7.1m cap charge, then the way the Bucs have done their deals, they also owed Suh and Gronk about $12m combined.

  63. EEK Says:

How about saying, “We are constantly trying to improve individually and as a team everyday. If a trade can help us and our team, we will pursue it aggressively.”?

  66. steele Says:

Thank you, macajubav. That is Todd Bowles. And he is the central problem, that affects everything else.

We’ve been seeing this since spring: don’t expect them to make any moves of significance, especially at this late stage. They’re “not stoked” about anyone or anything, except how much they love their in-house youngsters and backup JAGs. Their boys, who can do little wrong, even when they underperform. “We good.”

  67. EEK Says:

    Crack

    what are you talking about?

  68. Chop block Says:

The Bucs would be absolutely stupid not to make a move for Gesecki considering his situation in Miami & our situation in the RedZone. Also talk to N.E. & try to make something happen for Wynn. Those 2 moves could help change things around immediately, especially when Jensen comes back.

  69. HC Grover Says:

IT MAY BE AND IS A POSSIBILITY THAT Bowles is a complete idiot and dumber than a box of rocks.

  77. Whoolio? Says:

Eagles got Quinn for a freaking 4th round pick? We couldn’t have made a better offer for a top level player like him? Maybe a 4th and a future 7th? This crap is getting old. What do they want? A team to offer them their best players for a dollar and a handshake? We can’t spare a few mid to late picks for 2 players that can make a real difference? God forbid Licht doesn’t have a few mid round picks for a kicker and a long snapper in next years draft..

  78. steele Says:

Even if this team were managed by wilder, bolder men, what holes do you plug? There are now too many. You can make strong arguments to replace at almost every position.

Is it really drastic to think about blowing up the team and starting over? No—not if even your veterans are laying down on the job or just giving up, “watching life get sucked out of them”. Replacing Bowles and Leftwich is becoming imperative. Right now, the team is down to a pissed off old Brady all by himself, looking for help, not finding support, and no one getting through to youngsters in their own little world.

  79. Defense Rules Says:

Rod … ‘Part of the reason why the Bucs are even in worse cap space than expected from last year is mainly due to Marpet retiring, that hit the team for $7.1m cap charge, then the way the Bucs have done their deals, they also owed Suh and Gronk about $12m combined.’

Marpet retiring didn’t cause our horrendous salary CAP situation Rod; Jason Licht did. Ali actually did us favors back in 2020 & 2021 by converting a total of $10.5 mil of salary into bonuses, clearing a bunch of CAP space & lowering his CAP hit so we could sign other key contributors.

Licht used that same approach with quite a few other players (aka, kicking the can down the street), but most of those are still on the active roster. That’ll come back to bite us in the proverbial arse in 2023 & 2024 primarily. And yes, we are still paying Suh & Gronk this year for their PAST contributions, to the tune of 13.5 mil total.

Of course, that pales in comparison to the $35 mil CAP hit we’ll take for Tom Brady AFTER this year when he won’t even be on our roster. Add to that what we’ll owe to Hicks ($4.9 mil), Julio ($3.4 mil), LVD ($1.9 mil) and several others who’ll be FAs next year and we’re screwed for several years to come. Irony is that the Falcons, Panthers & Saints were in the same boat, but they started digging their way out before we will be. Yup, we’re screwed. All-in will rapidly become abandon ship starting next year.

  83. T REX Says:

There is much irony in crying about crybabies

  84. Defense Rules Says:

@cmurda … ‘This has been humiliating with this much talent.’

Why do so many JBFers seem to believe we’re a very talented team? We’ve got some very good talent, but we’ve been starting some players who’d have a hard time making it in the CFL or USFL. Look at last Sunday’s game. Defensive players like McCollum (rookie), Hall (rookie), Delaney, Nassib & yes JTS don’t exactly strike fear in the hearts of opponents. Neither do offensive players like Goedeke (rookie), Perriman, Miller, Darden or injured players like Julio & Gage among others. And all those guys are getting lots of snaps.

You’re only as strong as your weakest link, and the Bucs have a number of weakest links. That’s why our opponents are pounding away at the same places; the weakest links can’t stop them. I thought that our defense would be able to keep us competitive while the offense heals, but it now looks like our defense has just as many problems as our offense. Lack of DEPTH is eating us alive.

  85. Defense Rules Says:

CrackWise … I personally think that Kyle Trask will end up being an excellent starter, PROVIDING the Bucs can surround him with a decent supporting cast. Problem is that Jason Licht has mortgaged our future, so that ‘supporting cast’ may not be all that sterling. Time will tell.

  86. CrackWise Says:

Sorry buddy, calling out crybabies that are on here day in and day out saying the same thing over and over does not make the one calling them out a crybaby.

Check your sheet crybaby. You do not win any points by crying about getting called out for being a crybaby.

That said, I love babies, I don’t mean to make you CRY over something that your not already CRYING over!!!

Its ok pal, you will feel better after NAPPY TIME!!!

  87. CrackWise Says:

    Defense Rules

I agree, thats why I think they went after Darden and a couple of REALLY GOOD Tight Ends.

Darden Reminds me of Toney, although I am not sold on how he will be used by Byron. I am 100% skeptical of Byron and think he is a moron for how he has managed the offense so far this season.

HOWEVER, I think Kyle is much better talent for guys like Darden, Ott, Ko, Key and R. White. Reason being is that those guys need a QB that will take some serious RISK.

I think Tom is out of his element right now. He is simply NOT COMFORTABLE.

That said, thats why I BELIEVE we will turn things around THIS YEAR. Tom will EVENTUALLY find his comfort zone. AND so long as our D continues to hold teams to 21 points or less. WE WILL START WINNG EVERY GAME.

1 our of 7 teams have scored 21 points or fewer. And it is something like 2 out of 7 have scored less than 17.

THUS, IMHO, we are a good team that is only STRUGGLING early to score. Say what you want about WHY but IT WONT LAST ALL SEASON!!!

Crackwise definitely stays smoking the first part of his name. Noone is not a fan or quitting on the team for being upset and critical of the team? Everyone can see this team is loaded on paper and playing like entitled children who cant take the slightest criticism for their poor play.. Saying that shows how much we love and care about this team and want to see them succeed with the huge amount of talent that they have. You sitting their blowing smoke up your own behind doesn’t make you a true fan, it makes you look like an irrational idiot. This can be turned around, but to think it’s gonna happen 4 days after a humiliating loss to the worst team in the league is just ridiculous.. I fully expect to go to the game tommorow and cheer on my team knowing we have very little chance of winning. And after a 10 day break, hopefully a OC change, and a kick in the behind we’ll see if they can figure it out. Go Bucs!

  89. CrackWise Says:

My bad. 6 out of 7 teams have scored 21 points or fewer.

5 our of 7 have scored 18 or fewer.

I like our odds of turning things around when ALL THINGS are considered!!!

Follow the Money. Thats a real thing too. LOL :-p

  90. Anonymous Says:

Wah Wah Wah . Mommy my team wost. Make it stop mommy.

  91. rrsrq Says:

Not gonna lie, Bucs would benefit had they kept Tyler Johnson

  92. CrackWise Says:

    Whoolio?

If what you say was true. NONE of you would have a job.

Being Critical and BEING CRYBABIES are TWO TOTALLY different things.

You don’t get to CLAIM you’re a FANATIC at the same time that your call for people’s heads to role.

That my friend is called an INSERECTION and or a MUTIANY

Your allowed to be critical but once it becomes NONSENSICAL and EMOTIONAL. You Crybabies become the PROBLEM!!!

    #4FingersInTheAIR!

  93. Oddball Says:

Blow it up. Go all Carolina and fire the coaches and have a fire sale. Win with backups. LOL. Everything must go!

Actually I have faith we can turn this around. The way I see it the winner of the NFC South may well be under .500

  94. Oddball Says:

And will somebody PLEASE get Devin White some geometry lessons. Good lord.

  95. catcard202 Says:

This roster has been playing like a team that should be sellers, not buyers…

  96. Whoolio? Says:

    Crackwise:
I’m not going to argue with a clearly unstable and irrational person. Calling for someone who has no business calling plays to be fired is logical not an insurrection. I could understand a bad game or two. But Leftwich has not called even a decent game this year. His insistence on running it up the middle and throwing 15 screen passes a game is so predictable that a “CRYBABY” like me is calling out plays before they happen. If I can do that what do you think a legitimate defensive coordinator is doing. Challenge my fanhood all you want but I know how much i love this damn team to the point of insanity. Maybe I care too much?? We can talk after tommorows game about who’s nonsensical. You can hold me too my comment about low expectations if you’re right and I’ll be sure to remind you of this gem ⬇️⬇️ if I am.

DON’T be surprised to see the team that we have all been waiting to see in less than 24 hours!!!!!!

  97. Redeemer Says:

CrackWise. Let me clean up the 1st grade writing skills, before I eviscerate it. “You don’t get to claim you’re a fan, and at the same time call for people’s heads to roll’

If you pay for tickets, buy merch, or subscribe to platforms to view the games, you absolutely have the right to call for a job. People post here because they care. You’re talking about blind loyalty, which is the opposite of fandom. Being a fan means different things to different people.

  98. CrackWise Says:

    Whoolio?

Your right, there is nothing to argue after your second sentence.
You actually lose your “argument”? here and your nonsensical self becomes exposed!!!

Byron was the guy “responsible” for calling plays the last two years!!!

Hello Mc Fly!!! Yes, that is a BACK TO THE FUTURE reference that is 100% applicable. Byron is not my favorite OC. I have not hidden my displeasure for what he has done so far THIS SEASON, and early in PREVIOUS seasons. BUT he has EARNED my support FOR NOW.

At least you admit that you’re a CRYBABY. You deserve credit for that but really NOTHING ELSE. Stop posting BASED ON YOUR FEMALE EMOTIONS!!!

  99. Buczilla Says:

I love our team, but I have no faith in it until they give me a reason to have it. Total draft mode right now. 😛

You are a DUMB Butt if you PAY for ANY platform at this point. Don’t be mad at me for not being as DUMB. That said, I pay for what I want to see. WIN or LOSE.

That does not give me ANY RIGHTS. Nor does it give ANYONE and RIGHTS.

That said, are you PAYING to be the GRAMER POLICE? You stupid BUTHOLE!!!

  101. Redeemer Says:

CrackWise, as despondent as it makes Dooley, I relatively agree with you on the score of Thursdays game. One game is a far cry from a playoff run, but I’m a gambling man. Betting on Brady has helped put my kids through college.

  102. Redeemer Says:

Crack, do you see these games via UHF antenna? I don’t live in the market, and have plenty of cake to pay for what I want. Don’t get mad at me because you still have trouble with your timetables. Your points would come across much more intelligibility if you simply red besforme yous postesez

  103. CrackWise Says:

Toche, nice reply and in general, I really like your post TBH.

I am just DONE with this MOB Mentality. We are a First Place Team in our Division. UNTILL we arnt. I don’t want to hear all this CRYING BS.

I know a lot of these guys PERSONALLY and I know that NONE of them are what people are suggesting.

The bottom line is, we are 1 of 32 teams and ONLY 1 team wins every year.

Right now WE SUCK…. I am not arguing that…. HOWEVER, we are a SUCKY team that is IN FIRST PLACE.

Since WHEN CAN A REAL BUCS FAN SAY THAT???

  104. T REX Says:

    Trolls gonna troll

  105. CrackWise Says:

    Right T Rex

Yall have all become UNWITING TROLLS!!!

Never in my life would of I believed that SO MANY PEOPLE DID NOT HAVE A LIFE as I do now seeing all these CRYBABY Trolls on JBF.

    SO sad.

  106. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

The Eagles just got a Pro Bowl Pass Rusher from Chicago for a 4th round draft pick!
One has to ask where was Licht when this deal went down ?
Todd Bowles seems to have the sheer stubbornness of Lovie Smith ?

  107. CrackWise Says:

One has to ask, how HORRIBLE have the EGALS been the last few years.

    #NoOneCaresAboutTheEgals!

  108. Jerry R Jones Says:

The Bucs are going to have a losing record garunteed! F@#K Bowles and F#$k Leftwich, they brought this team back to that basement!

  109. CrackWise Says:

Want to see a GARUNTEED LOSING RECORD???

Look in the mirror Jerry R Jones!!!

  110. Ed Says:

Not up to Bowles, those questions are for Licht. He makes the calls on drafting, signings and trades.

  111. CrackWise Says:

Where did T Max and all the other DIEHARD Trolls go???

OH, I know, they change names and OUT POST REAL FANS!!!

  112. CrackWise Says:

    NOTE for TRUE DIEHARD FANS

Shut Down The BS. Just do what I did here. Call these CRYBABIES out!!!

Don’t be ashamed of losing. Its part of the game. The TIME for CRYING is AFTER the season.

Even then, DONT cry about things that are OUTSIDE of your control. You are either a DIEHARD supporter/FANATIC or you are not.

REMEMBER, its ok to voice your FRUSTRATION and make SUGESTIONS but a FAN is not someone who CRYS CONTINUIOUSLY about EVERYTHING….

ALL but 1 TEAM is a loser EVERY YEAR.

  113. CrackWise Says:

    Winners!!!

    #4FingersInTheAIR!

  114. T REX Says:

Buwahahahaha…says the guy with 23/113 posts

    GTFO. You are embarrassing yourself.

  115. captivajim Says:

Neither Licht , Bowles or BA want to make any trades-because they don’t want to admit collassal mistake of not replacing 2 O-Line probowl level players with proven vets–even knowing Brady is not a mobil QB ..

  116. garro Says:

I think Whoolio and Crackwise are the same Schizophrenic guy arguing with himself?!?!

  117. Darin Says:

    Sasquatch
If you’re saying I don’t know the meaning of value you’re reaching far. The coach should not be worried about “value” one bit. That’s the GM’s job. Even if he doesn’t believe it he should be saying the need to improve their team any way they can right now. They suck. And he’s a big reason why.

  118. Your Mom Says:

UNINTERESTED, UNINTERESTED… stop taking away the meaning of disinterested which means fair and impartial. Hence speaketh the grammar police…

  119. Robert Says:

If the front office does nothing to address the pass rush, the middle of the D, or a threat at TE, they’ve officially admitted that this team isnt going on a run. Everyone knows we’re not better than Buffalo, Philly, KC, San Fran, etc.

  120. LongSeason Says:

For the way this team has become gutless it deserves to be called out. It’s called speaking truth. Doesn’t mean we don’t want this team to turn it around or won’t watch games. People have a right to speak out.

  121. cmurda Says:

@D Rules. Because our team is still supremely talented. The losses were in the trenches especially on offense. The numbers show that JPP and Suh weren’t really doing much… ON PAPER that is. I think a gross miscalculation was made in leadership though. JPP and Suh held that defense accountable. Its hard to agree with not having those guys considering the investment that it would require. That said, D Rules. Please tell me this team isn’t crazy talented with The GOAT, M.E, Godwin, Lavonte, Winfield, D White. The list goes on. Belichick would go undefeated for 2 straight years with this roster.

  122. Barbara Roopenian Says:

Gronk and Tom’s other friend OBJ.
