Three hours from kickoff in New Orleans, it’s now official that Buccaneers left tackle Donovan Smith will miss today’s game because of his hyper-extended elbow.
Smith is an eight-year veteran and you can still count how many starts he’s ever missed on one hand.
Huge task ahead for journeyman Josh Wells — against the Saints players, as well as their super-loud crowd.

Josh Wells is definitely a step down from Donovan Smith, but he is a vet who can get the job done with the right supporting cast. Of note, Wells and Aaron Stinnie both attended James Madison University.
