I’m sorry Mister Derrick Brooks, but you are living in the past with this idea of “balance” being so important. It’s a passing league now, and we have the best QB and targets in the league. The running game worked this week, but we also only scored 19 points. Brady set the record for passing attempts last year and we had our best offense ever. I think we could be even better if we stopped calling so many first down HB dives like BL loves to do. If we become less predictable about when and how we run the ball, I think it can still be effective. But we shouldn’t be striving to pass the ball less…. pass as much as Brady can bear it! And use play action more, all the analytics say play action WORKS REGARDLESS of the quality/quantity of the running game. LFG

Yeah… and when it comes to anything football related, who would you rather listen to than D. B. or Ronde Barber? I can’t imagine anyone better than those two guys. OK, maybe Brady talking about Offense. That being said, Ira does a fine job, too. You can tell he and DB enjoy working together.

Actually Hodag, I think it will be the other way around. DB will pick the Bucs and Ira will pick the Saints. But I sure could be wrong.

Herbs – the O-line is a run blocking line. If Brady drops back 40+ times as you imply he will be killed. I’m glad the coaches and Brady understand the situation. Now, some better red zone play calling and execution would be welcome. Just turn two FGs of the 5 attempts into ruddies and it’s 27-3. That could be done with two or three didfeeent play calls.

I was SUPER impressed with Ronde’s breakdown and film of the Dallas game on the Bucs site. He broke down about 5 plays that were keys to the Bucs game. Good stuff.

I love DB55, one of 3 jerseys I have…but you disappointed me last week picking against us. Was I worried? Of course, but I still pulled for us and didnt pick against us. Im on record here saying this is the one out of our first 4 I think we’ll win. But after seeing that game, I think we’ll be 3-1. KC will give us our true test.
