While Bucs Work, Rob Gronkowski Plays (Hard)

April 30th, 2022

Working hard or…

The Bucs are knee-deep in building the 2022 roster, and of course the Bucs have folks working in Las Vegas for the draft.

One of those workers is not foot-rubbing tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Gronk is the king of something called “Gronk Beach.” There — for a fee of course — Gronk and his entourage, and equally important his Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covergirl girlfriend Camille Kostek join fans. And as Gronk has marketed the event this week on his Instagram stories account, those who show up get to gawk at the bikini-clad Kostek.

And party like a rock star.

Yesterday’s event was held at the famous Encore Beach Club located at the Wynn Las Vegas. And you can tell Gronk was enjoying himself.

Were Gronk’s theatrics part of his personal routine of staying in shape for football season? Time will only tell.

Gotta draft a TE in round 4.

  2. Francisco Guzman Says:

We need gronkowski back on this team. The guy’s very valuable in our offense.

  3. firethecannons Says:

Bucs pick first tomorrow–thought we could go corner but now it is clear we will be going tight end. Not counting on Gronk after seeing this video–he is having way too much fun.

  4. John Mason Says:

That tight-end is still on the board….4th round pick maybe

    Big Grin

If I’m Licht or Bowles, I am insisting on getting Gronk on the phone and getting a commitment from him, even if in private.

Because this draft and the rest of the offseason will be a failure if they keep ignoring a defense that is in desperate need of more pass rushers, more DL, better cornerbacks, safeties and linebackers.

CB Andrew Booth and edge David Ojabo would have been great picks for a team that could afford injured players to red shirt for a season. This team needs impact and improvement immediately. On defense.

  7. steele Says:

TE Jeremy Ruckert would have made sense instead of Rachaad White, if Gronk cannot be trusted to come back. Jalen Wydermeyer and Jake Ferguson are other TEs in lower rds who can block.

I would almost rather them leave TE to Brate, and sign a FA if Gronk craps out, than invest yet more picks to the offensive side.

  8. Bird Says:

Yah. We are thin at tight end right now. Big time. But it makes me thinks gronk gave a verbal yes since we are going into round 4 with no one drafted. This was a weaker tight end class but still need another piece

Wonder how many sloppy seconds gronks brothers and even dad have gotten partying with gronk. Prolly a lot

  9. Bruce Blahak Says:

Ferguson, best TE left or McCollum-CB with first pick today.

That’s one way to get your cardio in

Stud! Come on back for one more rodeo and get us another ring.

He has Joe Namath Swagger and is a giant on the field. Love this guy, heart and soul of our offense and team. A true professional who loves every second of it. Go Gronk!

  14. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Gronk is one crazy m-focker……..I love that guy…..and for all those worried about Gronk returning…….relax…..he’ll be back.

  15. Bowles4President Says:

For those saying we demand Gronk privately commit to returning or else we draft/sign a TE, here is what my fellow Bucs fans are missing…

The only reason fans are getting so concerned about the importance of a TE on the roster is because when they think of TE, they are thinking of Gronkish skills. Tight ends are not typically the roster spot that NFL fans worry about, because a tight end in the traditional sense is a strong blocker with so-so hands and too slow to run long routes.

Gronk is a HOF TE with fantastic blocking skills, good hands, and rediculous yards after hit.

Buc fans demanding commitment now don’t want a starting NFL TE. They want to draft a “Gronk” and that’s not a position the Commissioner announces after the pick’s name and before his college.

  16. Bojim Says:

    Good for Gronk.

  17. dls5492 Says:

It’s Gronk’s world. We just live in it.

  18. Listnfrmafar Says:

Just having a little fun while he can.

  19. David Says:

Gronk will be back and the Bucs already know it.

  20. New England Patriots Fan Says:

Gronk looks huge again he’s clearly bulking on the off season, he slowly loses 25lbs over the course of a season and rebulks

  21. Bucsfan951 Says:

I am 100% confident that gronk comes back this season. 100% confident!!!

  22. ModHairKen Says:

I hope he is up to date on his shots after seeing that crowded pool. Don’t drink the pool water.

  23. Seattle Buc is back in TB Says:

Well it looks like his back is nice and limber at least. No soreness there.

  24. SOEbuc Says:

Ruckert was right there for the taking on offense. This is the offensive pick to sit behind Gronk for a year and create depth.

    -ILB
    -DE/OLB
    -CB
    -WR
    -TE

All of these positions are in much more important depth wise than a RB they could have easily picked up in the fourth. Those first two picks are exciting, but I don’t know about three.

It is win now, but they look like they have to give Trask a chance and he still might have an arm strength of a little girl.
