Consultant Bruce Arians Is On An Extended West Coast Golfing Trip

April 6th, 2022

The NFL Draft is three weeks away and the Buccaneers’ senior consultant assigned to the front office is not parked in the film room or holding the hand of the new Tampa Bay head coach.

Bucco Bruce Arians is in Arizona today visiting his son and playing golf, he told 98.7 FM radio in Phoenix this afternoon. Next, Arians said he’ll head from there to play the Pebble Beach course in California over the weekend.

Arians, when he was serving as the greatest head coach in Bucs history, shunned Zoom calls and virtual communication. And Joe suspects he still feels that way.

Joe’s not knocking Arians, Joe just finds it humorous that Arians is, at least for this week, as committed to the front office as much as Chris “Swaggy” Baker was to his teammates during The Lost Decade.

See you soon, Bruce!

    Good for him!
A couches life is crazy stressful and completely consuming.
The Ole coot has earned some rest and relaxation while he still has time and health

  4. Bird Says:

Bruce just had a large fridge , full wine rack, bar and kegerator added to his office

Getting him out of the way before the draft don’t need another Jaelon Darden.

  6. Listnfrmafar Says:

I guess his new role mirrors his last. Is anyone really surprised? You know Brady isn’t.

This is a bad idea and will not end well. The bucs need to cut complete tie with Arians as long as Brady is with them. He already started with his comment about Tom getting credit for Leftwich work. Like we don’t know who Is Brady.
He will pit Leftwich against Brady and it will not be good for the Bucs as a whole now and in the future. People are interested in the Bucs BECAUSE of Tom. Just asl Evans who told them to enjoy it last year when he knew Tom might retire

Yea I got a bad feeling bout this , they tryna keep damage control down for the sake of the season bt Arians will blow sooner like Antonio brown perhaps smh

    GoBucs!

  13. Twincane Says:

I’ll be a pebble this weekend as well. Better get to the bar early before Bruce clears out the booze

I think of Arians job being the equivalent of Tom Moore’s job. Having a Tom Moore and/or BA on your staff in an “as needed” role is something every head coach should desire, if only to be able to bounce ideas off of them when you want to. The other 7.5 hours a day let them play solitaire, who gives a poop?

Wisdom is the knowledge gained from the experiences of others, preventing you from having to learn things the hard way.

Who couldn’t use that in their profession??
