Bruce Arians Talks Getting The Greatest From The Greatest And “Drinking Too Much”

March 27th, 2022

Bucco Bruce Arians

Bucco Bruce Arians is still fist-pumping as he patrols the NFL annual spring meetings in Palm Beach.

That was the word from veteran NFL.com reporter Steve Wyche.

What’s got Arians fired up? His quarterback, of course.

“The smile really hasn’t come off my face. I’m drinking too much, but other than that it’s been a constant celebration. It was huge for us to have Tom back,” Arians said.

Arians talked to Wyche about how he and Tom Brady stayed in touch during the alleged Brady retirement and about the Bucs being a hyperfocused bunch that knows exactly how to reach its goal. The head coach also referenced how Brady truly is at the top of his historic game.

Today marks two weeks since Brady’s return. What a wonderful world!

And 31 other coaches are hating that mfr right now. 😝

  2. NCBucfan Says:

I love this dude!! Feel bad for his liver, but live it up Bucco!

  3. Allbuccedup Says:

Now when Brady retires BA will retire thats why hes so happy. 😂

  4. NCBucfan Says:

Allbuccedup, most likely. As a so called QB whisperer, I was really hopeful he could develop Trask! I mean he was way off when he said we could win the whole damn thing with Winston. Winston didn’t even have his best year under Bucco. That 2016 was prob his best, when we went 9-7.

BA & I have at least 3 things in common…..we’re old, drink too much & love having Brady back…..

So was the whole Dale Arnold from NESN having insider knowledge about Tom Brady real? It seems if the media is acting like he was reporting Tom Brady coming to Tampa before anyone else.

I went back and searched the archives. Tom Arnold did post on twitter at 3:15 pm on March 17, 2020 that according to his source Tom Brady will be signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

    However:
At 2 pm on March 17, 2020, Adam Schefter, tweeted:
Tom Brady will sign with the Buccaneers tomorrow.

At 3 10 pm on March 1, 2020 Joe posted an article that said that JP Peterson just hit the 820 AM airwaves and proclaimed no later than tomorrow the Bucs will announce they have signed Tom Brady to be their next starting quarterback.

So not saying that Arnold does not have a source but his March 2020 source was no sooner than anyone else about predicting Brady to the Bucs.

Yeah geno, where there’s smoke there may be a little fire. I mean if Brady somehow is pulling lichts strings in the background(which is highly highly unlikely)for a trade, it would be the biggest bit$$ move by Brady in nfl history! Jensen, Gholston, and others took less money knowing Brady was gonna be here at least 1 more year. This media sh$$ show will be annoying all off season with the speculation of this and that, but hey that’s the way of the media world these days.

  9. Beeej Says:

His wife’s business interests are centered in Miami. Furthermore, I can see Brady’s interest in becoming a part-owner, like Jordan did with Washington. If that was ever true, Brady clearly has tossed that idea out the window and settled on the Bucs. I expect that meeting with the Glazers was to lay some ground rules, like “get me more receivers”, “get me more lineman”, “re-sign Lenny”

  10. David Says:

Why are you people talking about this Miami BS?!? LOL
There is no chance in hellll it will happen.

Brady‘s been on the phone convincing people to resign with Tampa and just renewed his lease in Tampa. This is coming from who? A source in Miami trying to light a fire under Titus’s assssss?

    LFG!!!

…………. “about the Bucs being a hyperfocused bunch that knows exactly how to reach its goal.”
    ___________

    A reference about the FO?
Surely not the players (ie) communication breakdowns throughout the season.

  12. WillieG Says:

“Brady hates me and really wanted to play in San Fran or Miami, but damn, I’m glad to have him back.”

Doesn’t make a lot of sense, does it? Would someone please tell Florio?

  13. Mike Johnson Says:

Ease up on the drinking there Bruce. Take it from a guy who had to learn..The Hard Way.

  14. Trey Long Says:

Defense was spotty last year especially pass defense.
I’m concerned about coaching. We’ll see.

  15. Vadertime Says:

Bruce, you go ahead and drink as much as you want. Under Tom’s stewardship you just need to show up on Sundays and stand on the sidelines and smile. Tom has everything under control. Go Bucs. Go Canes.
