Strong Percentages Bucs Win NFC South

March 27th, 2022

Bucs QB Tom Brady.

So the PFF Tribe now does handicapping? How quaint.

So the tribe has run its numbers and concluded something Joe is certain will enable Bucs fans to rest easy tonight. The Bucs will win the NFC South, so types Eric Eager. Based on all sorts of data, the PFF Tribe’s software has pumped out the following that gamblers can bank on.

(The first percentage in each team’s line is “break even.”)

Tampa Bay: -280 (74%, 67%)
New Orleans: +450 (18%, 17%)
Atlanta: +1000 (9%, 8%)
Carolina: +1100 (8%, 8%)

The last time we wrote this article, Tom Brady was retired and the Bucs were about even money to win the NFC South in consecutive years for the first time in franchise history (they’ve never won any division in consecutive years). The Saints are probably going to have between an eight- or nine-win total when those come out while the Falcons and Panthers are a wasteland. Brady’s luck strikes again.

It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist or a piece of software to tell you Tampa Bay is the favorite. Let’s take a quick look at the quarterbacks:

Bucs: Tom Brady, greatest ever.
Dixie Chicks: Runaround QB Marcus Mariota (LOL).
Slimy Saints: Mr. Entertainment, America’s QB, Jameis Winston.
Stinking Panthers: Stiff Sam Darnold.

That’s all you need to know.

By the way, Joe was thinking about this last week: What’s worse, Mariota or those “Longest Yard” uniforms the Dixie Chicks wear?

I feel this is finally the year we can sweep the slimy slimy slimy saints!! The only 2 other times we have done that since the division realignment was 05 and 07. And maybe we can sweep the division for the first time ever!

Time to take care of business….you have to play the games for a reason…..don’t get cocky…..bear down and win.

  4. Bird Says:

Its weird but seems bucs play saints better in NO then in tampa
Hope its not same outcome as last year vs them

    No payton
No marcus williams at safety is a good start
Not sure if pj williams resigned ?
But saints without left tackle armsted although he missed games last year and they still played well

Would love for saints to suck in near future

  9. Beeej Says:

Winning the NFC south has reverted to kissing your sister. Oddly, it’s similar to what the AFC east was for a decade or 2

  10. David Says:

    Seems low

  11. David Says:

The rest of their schedule is brutal. They need to sweep the NFC south

If they don’t win the division they’ve got some injuries or problems. I wonder if they can actually beat the Saints this year. Biggest concern to me is the roster. Last year the Bucs played so inconsistent and most games they didn’t show up until second half. They also have pretty much the same players that they had last year, and they couldn’t win it. I think they need to make a couple of splash pick ups on D to get this team to the Super Bowl again. They have to improve on that side more then anything, and pass rush needs to be addressed.

  13. Bird Says:

No question Aaron is the VP of the messiah cult- a one time former piss boy that carried around a bucket at training camp
And We know who the president is 😂

  14. DaBux Says:

Man oh man, how the NFC South has fallen.

  15. OBVIOUS Says:

Funny how many saints are on this blog. Talk about speaking volumes!

I’m gonna be honest. I haven’t liked the saints. And for a damn good reason. They HAD a secret weapon. That weapon is gone. Long Gone. And yes, IT’S THE END of the road for the Slimmy saints. IN FACT, it’s important that I make it CLEAR again. IT IS THE END OF THE GOOD TIMES FOR THE SLIMMY saints. And now I Pity your Pettiness. Sad
Hey, most of us get a Very, Very Satisfying feeling to have you sad fools come here to this humble blog and BEG and BEG and beg for attention. So Sad to be a lowly saints fan. I no longer feel that passion concerning your team. You’re no longer a challenge. Your weapon is gone and now your just sadly on your knees begging. How Embarrassing for Jamies to have you guys show up like this…

BUT DAMN FUNNY AND SATISFYING FOR US!
Thanks for the laugh kids! And I think you guys better be more concerned with the Falcons and Panthers. You “MIGHT NOT” get laughed at as much from them “UNTIL” they realize that you’re not the same team anymore. And then, have fun with that….

THIS DIVISION BELONGS TO THE BUCCANEERS! And THAT’S the way it is.

    GOOD BYE FELICIA (slimmy saints)

    GO BUCS!

  16. Allbuccedup Says:

This division is so pathetic we could win it with Trask at QB.

  17. New England Patriots Fan Says:

Baker, Wentz Jimmy G maybe Trask and Cousins would win this division.

However if TB didn’t return half the roster would be on other teams.

So then Tampa would be bad in a bad division with a 20-10 QB.

Tom saved Tampa at least 40m on under market deals this season, paying for himself twice

  18. Tye Says:

The Saints have plummeted to the depth of the Falcons and Panthers..
Dennis Allen as HC and Winston at quarterback, Saints will be a shell of their former selves…

Bucs should have a fairly easy path to the crown unless injuries build up!

  19. Chris l Says:

It isn’t like Winston scares anyone

  20. SlyPirate Says:

The NFCS is a layup this year.

The Saints have talent but they lost Payton. That’s a big loss.
