Report: Tom Brady Business Assistant Has Been Looking For Work

January 30th, 2022

A guy who Bucs quarterback Tom Brady personally employs to keep his business dealings straight apparently has been calling around the NFL looking for a new job.

Sara Nathan of the New York Post claims one of Brady’s handlers, a guy by the name of Ben Rawitz, has been calling various NFL quarterbacks’ representatives looking to see if they are interested in securing his services.

One is Bengals signal-caller Joe Burrow.

Now why would a guy in the middle of winter want to leave Tampa and Tom Brady to go live in Cincinnati? Well, because Brady no longer needs him — because Brady will have tons more free time to organize and keep straight his business day, per Nathan.

Page Six has been told that Rawitz, who has spent years as Brady’s right-hand man, has reached out to a list of high-profile QBs, including the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen, Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow, the Cardinals’ Kyler Murray and the Patriots’ Mac Jones, for management opportunities.

Rawitz, who has been with his boss since Brady was a Patriot and made the move with him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, declined to comment.

Another insider confirmed that Rawitz had reached out to Burrow’s management but did not speak to the athlete directly.

What does this Rawitz do? Among other things, he makes sure Brady stays on schedule for his non-football dealings and handles Mickey Mouse things and puts out small fires when needed.

You know, “Hey at 9 a.m. tomorrow you have a meeting with… and at 11 a.m. you have a photoshoot with… and at 3 p.m. these corporate suits from Singapore will be at the downtown Marriott for an investment discussion… and I will need your Razor while you meet with the Singapore guys so Bill Currie Ford can get the oil changed and tires rotated.”

Just a word of caution to Rawitz: Joe Burrow is on his rookie contract. You may have better luck with Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen. Mahomes has so much cash he bought a piece of an MLB team last year. So he’s a busy man outside of football.

Just make sure you have the right car insurance before you talk to him.

  1. Proud Bucs Fan Says:

I would hire him to pack up bruce arains U-Haul.

  2. JimbobBucsFan Says:

Now, that is an interesting bit of reporting. It is relevant to the Tom Brady retirement situation.

  3. B. Mikal Says:

He’s the inside source that’s been leaking information. That’s what it sounds like to me.

  4. Joe Says:

He’s the inside source that’s been leaking information. That’s what it sounds like to me.

Thought the same. One of the sources.

  5. WVBuc Says:

The thing I find difficult to believe is that Brady, or anyone in his position, wouldn’t employ an assistant like this whether he was playing football or not. In fact, the guy handling business items would seem to be the most necessary to hang onto even if transitioning from active to retired.

  6. adam from ny Says:

yeah the party is over guys…

i’m starting to think there might not even be a retirement moment…

all the crap going on might actually be it…lol…

tom might basically disappear into thin air and be gone…

    poof….where did tom go?

    and that’s it….

    as the kids would say….

    “he ghosted the bucs”….imagine that

  7. Onetrickpony Says:

Instead of all this speculation why don’t Brady just come at and say he is retiring ?

  8. Free agent Says:

When Coach, ran Brown off the field he also ran Brady away, and half the team away, from a respect fact. I do not blame Brady, you are trying to fine a way to win and you got coaches trying to get other jobs. That is not Mr. Brady style, Coach B in New England would have kept everything quit and in house. If you are being looked at by a different team for head coach do it own your own time and not in the press.

  9. Dew Says:

I’m still hopeful he comes back for one last season & goes out the right way. I would be unhappy if he quit on his team without notice leaving them unprepared.

  10. Hodad Says:

Burrow might be on his rookie deal now Joe, but the dude is going to break the bank very soon. They probably give him a big new deal soon, because the longer they wait, the more expensive he’ll become. This Rawitz knows who to hitch his wagon to. As far as who leaked the story probably more than one source. Those insiders aren’t going to run such a big story off the word of one person.

  11. Listnfrmafar Says:

Somebody in the Bucs organization pissed him off. This is just to sudden. The personal assistant definitely is the source, the bad news for him is when these QB’s reach out to Brady for reference he may say F NO, can’t trust that guy. It’s either that or he doesn’t need Guerrero to rub him down anymore, maybe he took his job.

  12. AMI_Chris Says:

I would think that if Brady retires and has a lot more time to focus on his business interests, he would need to HIRE (not fire) staff. Do you think Tom is going to do the grunt work that that dude’s been doing? I wish everyone would stop speculating. I hate it that one of my teams has become a media circus. I haven’t seen this level of fervor since the Schiano “toes on the lines” days.

  13. Sparky Says:

The always credible NY Post. And the “mass exodus” story was leaked to a reporter from Houston and not one of the Tampa reporters? And the fake retirement was leaked to Jason LaCanfora first. When no one believed him, the source went to the the gossip queen himself, Schefter. Anyone see a pattern here?
Someone is trying hard to backdoor a false narrative.

  14. Buc1987 Says:

    Proud Bucs Fan Says

“I would hire him to pack up bruce arains U-Haul.”

And hire who? Raheem Morris or Greg Schiano back?

  15. Listnfrmafar Says:

Brian Flores, Bill O’Brien, Kellen Moore anyone that wants to put in the work. FYI, looks like Lefty isn’t getting the Jags job, there’s a new front runner. The good news he’s interviewing with the Saints guaranteeing two Bucs wins if he gets that job.

  16. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Actually….BA told Tom ….he didn’t want him back , then leaked the retirement story……was mean to AB….begged Byron to take the interviews…..forced Bowles to call an all-out blitz on the last play and ordered the players not to execute…..claimed he would stay on, but lied. What a guy!!!

  17. Proud Bucs Fan Says:

    @Buc1987

With that attitude Winston would still be the Qb. Always look to upgrade, especially in an area of weakness. Know it now or learn it later.

  18. Jon Says:

Mahomes needs him to keep the shrieking champagne shower girl in check

  19. Buc1987 Says:

Proud…were going back to sucking regardless….

    Brace yourself.

  20. Bucamania Says:

Brady must be pissed at that guy. Couldn’t wait to find another job.

  21. SB~LV Says:

I think he has ruined his own chances for another “secretary “ gig

  22. Marine Buc Says:

Well I guess we now know where all the TB12 retirement rumors are coming from…

    TB12’s assistant/secretary.

This is both annoying and amusing at the same time…

  23. HC Grover Says:

Time for a clean out at 1 Buc. I sure hope we do not get stuck with Ariens and Co. for one more year so he can pad his retirement at our expense. Get em’ out.

  24. Lesko_Brandon Says:

SO now we know who is Shefter’s “reliable source/s”.

  25. Rod Munch Says:

Maybe he’s the guy that Brady fired for leaking this info.

  26. Anonymous Says:

He’s waiting until February 4th to make announcement, I just saw article saying he gets 15 million of his signing bonus then. Just waiting it out.

  27. Darin Says:

I’ll only believe it when Brady says it. I do feel he’s waiting to see where Leftwich ends up first. Byrons not his favorite playcaller

  28. ATLBuc Says:

He’s the inside source that’s been leaking information. That’s what it sounds like to me.

Thought the same. One of the sources.

    That’s why he got fired!

  29. Leda Says:

It’s Benjamin (Ben) Rawitz not “Sam”…

  30. Im not tired anymore we Super Bowl Champs!! Says:

It would make sense my father n law said Friday night that this info was on the radio. I was like I had not read or heard about that but sounded significant. I bet this is where the leak started because Saturday morning it all blew up. Come on Brady one more year! Go Bucs!

  31. Dew Says:

Brady’s kids could have an impact. Will they want him to play one more season
This leak could affect their attitude. What are their friends telling them???? ONE MORE SEASON TOM.

  32. Chrisonthecape Says:

Not to be nitpicking, but I think his name is Ben Rawitz. I actually worked for him when I interned for the patriots in 2006/7.

  33. Rod Munch Says:

Again, no one has really addressed this…

If it is true that Brady has made the decision to retire and he’s told other people about this, which is how it leaked… why, after it leaks, would Brady call the team and lie to them and say he’s not made any decision, this is all fake news?

What is the purpose of Brady purposively lying to the team about it? He could just say nothing. But to actively call the team and say this is all B.S., it’s untrue, why would he do that? It makes no sense and makes him the bad guy if this turns out to be true.

  34. walk the Plank Says:

I don’t think we will see confirmation of Tom’s retirement until after his guaranteed 15 million dollar signing bonus is paid, I think it’s due February 4th. I won’t believe it until I see him at the podium announcing his retirement in a live news conference.

  35. Jmarkbuc Says:

Apparently there could be 15 million reasons, Rod.

Apparently there could be 15 million reasons, Rod.

    ———-

Again, even if the story of hitting offseason bonuses is true, Brady isn’t going to ruin his rep to get a few extra dollars on his way out. He played his entire career building the rep as the guy who was underpaid, and he’s not going to ruin that for some, by his standards, chump change on the way out.

Also, according to OTC, his offseason roster bonuses were all from 2021, I don’t see anything about off season bonuses in 2022. He got paid a ton of cash up front last offseason, and his yearly pay isn’t very high for 2022 because of that.

  37. richbucsfan Says:

This person may be the leak. She got fired.

  38. walk the Plank Says:

Tom has a 15 million signing bonus due on February 4th. To say he’s retiring before that date would jeopardize it. When he announces his retirement live, at a news conference, I’ll believe it.

  39. Rod Munch Says:

OK OTC doesn’t have the details, but Spotrac does…

    It says…

$15M of $20M signing bonus is deferred to February 4, 2022
2022 salary fully guarantees 2/18/2022, voids with retirement

What does that mean? It means the Bucs deferred $15m of his signing bonus – he gets that money, regardless of if he’s on the team or not. This is a cash payout, not a cap hit. This is money they deferred from last offseason, just to bring down the actual cash payout. There is no benefit to Brady if he waits until after the 4th to retire.

His salary would be guaranteed on Feb 18th, but that still voids with retirement. Not that there is any way Brady drags it out that long, but again, there is no benefit to Brady to wait.

There is ZERO financial gain at stake by waiting. Read all the details before you come up with your consprices, people.

  40. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Rod

15m or no 15m the outcome is the same.

  41. BucsFan81 Says:

Thanks Rod for clearing that up because none of the news articles I read explained it that way.

  42. HC Grover Says:

Richbucs that is a good theory.

  43. walk the Plank Says:

Hmm, well I guess we will all find out soon enough.. But seriously, I’ll take the 15 million ” Chump change ” off his hands.. seeing how I survive on my Social Security check.. 🤣 Oh my gosh.. Reality for us mere peasants in the real world..

  44. Roy T. Buford Says:

Now the real Jason Licht and Bruce Arians will rear their ugly heads again. You know. Draft and keep a guy like Winston. Roberto Aguayo. VHIII. But don’t worry, the Glazers will just extend Licht again so he will have MANY years to keep his handiwork going. How knows. Maybe he’ll get Mike Smith back on. But at least there is Arians, who says Gabbert is the most underrated player in the NFL. Too bad I already paid my season tix for next year!

  45. HC Grover Says:

    There for that walktheplank.

  46. CondorWolf00007 Says:

If Antonio still lives there, he might also be the insider. Or, perhaps he planted some bugs before he flew the coup D’evile. It’s like Clue the movie but with more alternate endings.

  47. walk the Plank Says:

HC Grover, Indeed! Back in the early days ~ before all the hoopla of social media, etc. We’d go to the Bucs practices held at the high school nearby and players would actually talk to us, like normal people. Imagine that! 👍 Go Buccaneers!

  48. Swampbuc Says:

    Todd Bowels

  49. D-Rok Says:

I would speculate that Brady would have had this guy Rawitz under an NDA, or anyone/everyone who works for Brady. If I were Brady, I certainly would make that a prerequisite for employment. Just a wild thought…

    Still, GO BUCS!!

  50. lambchop Says:

Looks like the writing is on the wall. Brady will wait to retire on his terms and telling Licht and Arians he hasn’t decided one way or the other was to not tip his hat because that would have leaked out faster than a man on depends.

  51. DungyDance Says:

Totally off topic – Watching the afc title game right now. What the heck is the chief’s mascot? Is that thing a squirrel?

  52. Rod Munch Says:

Damn, the Bucs would have wiped the floor with either of these teams… So close to another SB.

  53. Rod Munch Says:

DungyDance – It’s supposed to be a wolf is what I was heard.

  54. Rod Munch Says:

Might have been a close game, but I thought it was pretty dull, just mediocre football, neither team looked like a SB team.

I do, however, enjoy watching the home Chiefs fans crying, that’s good stuff.

The Bucs really did show the rest of the NFL how to be Mahomes, amazing how teams have slowed him down compared to just over 1-year ago. Yes, he still got his stats and will have big games, but remember just a year ago people were talking about how he’d break Brady’s SB record. In this game, it was all on his shoulders, and he collapsed.

  55. Wild Bill Says:

No favorites in thus super bowl. All seeds got beat!

  56. UmKhakis Says:

Is it not possible he was fired for leaking false or incomplete information?

  57. Listnfrmafar Says:

Thanks Bowles, Bucs/Cincy SB. 49ers were the perfect match up.

  58. HC Grover Says:

Gulp! I just looked at our 2022 schedule. Hooo Boy. It was a fun 2 years. Back to the drawing board.

  59. Mike C Says:

Wow Tampa, look at how many 9er fans are at the Rams….. guess we are not the only ones with an opposing fan problem wow!

  60. FortMyersDave Says:

Hmm. Some people may think that the KC qb got the yips down the stretch. Could not punch it in for the win late in the 4th, sacked a couple of times, gets the ball in OT and tries to give Eli Apple a pick but Eli does a H3 and drops it and then he does turn it over. KC outscore 24 to 3 after leading 21-3 late in 2nd quarter. Definite choke job.

  61. Wild Bill Says:

Cindy wasn’t expected to get thru the first round. GB, Bucks, Titans, and KC all beat down. Haha. I pick LA for next game. But either way it’s not a underdog Super Bowl winner!

  62. FortMyersDave Says:

H3 = VH3 in previous post. I thought Apple cost the Bengals a win till the Von Bell pick.

  63. HC Grover Says:

I hope Niners and Lynch win.

  64. Wild Bill Says:

Correction it is a not rated winner my typo

  65. Wild Bill Says:

Don’t have a dog in this race, but since Rams knocked us out I will root for SF

  66. Mike Johnson Says:

Reload Bucs. Bring in Wilson or Watson. Keep the winning going.

  67. Rod Munch Says:

Personally I’m hoping for an earthquake and California falls off into the sea during the game.

    But I’m not bitter.

  68. Rod Munch Says:

If California did fall off into the sea and both teams were lost, do the Bucs and Packers play to determine who gets the NFC bid?

  69. Mike C Says:

    Yes

  70. HC Grover Says:

They loaded the Bucs scedule next year with every good team in the NFL. It is going to be Brutal.

  71. Rod Munch Says:

Well if Brady is retired, then good, make it brutal, make Trask the QB, and get that #1 overall pick!

  72. FortMyersDave Says:

Mike C. Rams tried to limit 49er fans from buying up tickets by limiting online sales to those with SoCal zipcodes or phone numbers. Apparently that backfired as fans of SF in places like Oxnard, Ventura and Orange County bought up tickets for NorCal niner fans. I am pulling for SF as well for a retro Superbowl of Cincy/Niners.

  73. Rod Munch Says:

This is a very boring game so far. Maybe we can get the earthquake just to shake things up.

Get it… ‘shake’ things up. Because, you see, in an earthquake, things shake.

    Yeah, now you get it.

  74. Robertg Says:

Looking for work or Looking for business. There’s a difference

  75. DungyDance Says:

First round picks don’t always work out do well. Remember Kenyatta Walker? Oh wait he just got another false start.

  76. Rod Munch Says:

I remember when the Bucs would run WR’s screen…

  77. Dew Says:

Brady said he wanted to play until he is 45. That requires one more season. Brady is signed thru 2022. That means one more season to honor his contract. Tom doesn’t want to be accused of leaving with his players unprepared. What better way to go out than announce this will be his last season??? ONE MORE SEASON TOM

  78. Wild Bill Says:

If I was Brady and had his records, money, wife, kids and would be the oldest player in the game why risk it for a moldy biscuit. Between retirements, injuries and free agents time to get out rich and healthy. Nothing left to prove and time to smell the roses.

  79. DoooshLaRue Says:

49ers OL doing a great job today…… but we have a great OL right?
    Sad.

Yeah, I know we were missing Wirfs which was huge, but it wasn’t just Wells who shat the bed last week.

  80. DBS Says:

7 points do far . You’re watching this and feel sick I hope Bowles!

  81. Listnfrmafar Says:

Doosh, 49ers have a VERY creative offense. A lot of movement. Not like sleepy BL.

  82. HC Grover Says:

I think Kupp hypnotizes DB”S they just freeze and let him run right by them.

  83. steele Says:

Niners doing what needs to be done vs. a team like the Rams. Throttle with defense. Smashmouth, OL, don’t do anything stupid. Wear them out, then finish it late.

I’m still pulling for the Bengals to take it all. Underdog all the way.

  84. firethecannons Says:

time for Kupp to get an acl already definitely hoping for a Rams loss love to see them lose then have no draft picks either

  85. Go Bucs! Says:

    Bucs with Garopollo would work

  86. Go Bucs! Says:

I think Brady always planned to retire. Saying he wanted to retire at 45 let him go out without a BS farewell tour.

  87. DoooshLaRue Says:

Why are HCs named Sean always d!ckheads?

  88. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Trask is a younger Garoppolo.

  89. Adrnagy Says:

Brady signing bonus is due feb 4. $15 mil.

  90. 86_90 Says:

Nice seeing Bengals win today over the anointed one.

What a great memory in last year’s Super Bowl, witnessing Kermit the Frog receive his 1st NFL hits. It changed him as he was a different player this year and the 2nd half was the epitome of that.

His Mommy crying don’t hit my boy… no Suh!!

  91. Rod Munch Says:

Will you morons stop repeating fake news.

  92. Rod Munch Says:

Use your brains… how would Brady be due a ‘signing bonus’ on Feb 4th? It’s a ‘signing bonus’… you get that when you sign something, for signing it. What is Brady signing?

  93. DoooshLaRue Says:

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

  94. FortMyersDave Says:

Rams have wasted their timeouts on bad challenges, does that come back to bite them? Could come down to Matt Gay, he has already missed a long FG, does he get the yips against SF? Seems like these Buc cast offs that go elsewhere always have good games vs the Bucs but choke in other key situations. Rams already in FG range.

  95. DoooshLaRue Says:

According to Spotrac, the one-year extension Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last March for the 2022 season included a $20 million signing bonus — with $15 million of it to be paid on Feb. 4, 2022.

  96. FortMyersDave Says:

Tie game. Time for SF to have a 6+ minute drive and kick a winning FG as time runs out. Actually surprised Gay made that last FG, when he played for the Bucs that would have been a guaranteed shank or blocked kick.

  97. Rod Munch Says:

DoooshLaRue – yeah, I wrote that above… explained it already.

It’s a SIGNING bonus – with $15million due to be paid on Feb 4, 2022…

That means they just deferred the actual cash payment, he gets the money either way because it’s a ‘signing’ bonus. It has literally nothing to do with being on the roster or not being on the roster.

  98. DoooshLaRue Says:

I heard he still had to be on the team to collect it.

  99. DoooshLaRue Says:

Brady, 44, may have already decided to hang up his cleats, but Tampa Bay could reclaim $16 million of the signing bonus if he does retire, according to reports. Teams can still choose to pay out a player’s full signing bonus.

  100. Rod Munch Says:

DoooshLaRue – then that wouldn’t be a signing bonus, that would be a roster bonus. They just deferred the actual cash payout.

  101. DoooshLaRue Says:

Well, that’s all according to USA Today….. so….

  102. Adrnagy Says:

Rod. Stop or limit your toilet water intake.

  103. Rod Munch Says:

DoooshLaRue – All Brady signed was a one-year extension last offseason, and it was a $20m bonus, so I’m not sure how they could go after $16m. He signed a bunch of void years on the deal, those aren’t real years, they’re only there for salary cap purposes. There’s no situation where the team could prorate a signing bonus based on void years, and if they could, that would be a huge lawsuit.

Whoever is saying this stuff literally doesn’t understand how the cap works, how void years work and how signing bonuses work.

  104. Rod Munch Says:

DoooshLaRue – Makes sense then, USA Today is totally fake news and push complete nonsense. They went full woke a few years ago, became a trash paper that literally just publishes fake stories.

  105. Adrnagy Says:

All you morons need to stop thinking or dreaming brady will keep on playing 5-10yrs more or thought so.

If he comes back good. If he retires good. But all signs point to —— hes done.

So lets see and give teddy same love. Lol.

  106. Sc.Bucs fan Says:

Gay looks like he was a solid pick

  107. HC Grover Says:

Gay hits the turf with his toe when he kicks.

  108. Rod Munch Says:

If USA Today is saying, well Brady signed a 5-year extension, and he got $20m signing bonus, so the team could get back $16-million, they’re idiots.

    It wasn’t a 5-year deal, it was a 2-year deal, with 3-void years.

The most they could go after would be $10m, but it wouldn’t be tied to a date, they could recoup it regardless of when he retires during the offseason. But there’s no way the team would go after Brady to recoup that, in particular when he took undervalue money in the first place. This isn’t the Bucs suing to get Jake Plummers signing bonus after giving Denver a 6th rounder, it would be a huge PR nightmare.

  109. HC Grover Says:

    Rams whup the Ninnies.

  110. Rod Munch Says:

I remember hating Gay as a rookie for single handedly losing 2 games, but after the year was done, I said the Bucs found themselves a long term kicker, finally… then they cut him. Made no sense that you go through the rookie struggles just to give up on him, not even take him to camp. Succop has been fine, I have no issues with him, I just don’t get what the Bucs gained by cutting Gay without even going to camp.

  111. Rod Munch Says:

    Go Bucs! Says:
    January 30th, 2022 at 9:02 pm
    Bucs with Garopollo would work

    ——–

    Uh… no.

I’d even take Derek Carr over that disaster.

  112. Miller5252 Says:

And everyone just saw why you don’t want Jimmy G

  113. IrishTony Says:

Jimmy G to the rescue! He just lost to the Scams who’ll probably lose to the Bungles but hey he’s better than Trask.

  114. YoungBucs Says:

Rod munch you’re a liar you wanted gay gone. You were all over him also in the last game against the falcons. As if he tossed the pick six to lose it. Liar

  115. steele Says:

Whelp. Niners outdid themselves in pooch-screwing. Jimmy…. Oh well. GO BENGALS.

  116. Jerry Says:

Well, Bucs are no longer the only team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium

  117. IrishTony Says:

Scams have only one super bowl in their storied franchise and that was in St. Louis. I don’t even count them as a team for Christsakes they’ve moved around so damn much. They’re fan base in a joke. I hope the Bungles beat them!

  118. Rod Munch Says:

That was the SB right there, because the Bengals aren’t winning in 2 weeks. That’s the Rod Munch Guarantee. I’d guess the spread is going to be Rams -5.

I wonder if Raheem ends up getting a head coaching job out of this run. He deserves a 2nd chance, he took an awful team to what should have been the playoffs if the refs don’t screw the Bucs with a fake offensive PI in the end zone vs the Lions. What makes Morris a good candidate however is after he left, he worked his way back up, AND, importantly, in Atlanta worked as the WR coach. Made no sense, but he said he wanted to learn both sides of the ball, or at least get better at it. I think he when he gets another chance he’s going to be in that job for a while.

  119. FortMyersDave Says:

Jimmy G just choked in the clutch. Hate to say it, but the Rams deserved to win that game. Niners had nothing in the 4th quarter offensively and Matt gay did for the Rams what he was supposed to do for the Bucs. Pretty sure the Rams will be a favorite vs the Bengals just like KV was a TD+ favorite today. Ought to be a good game but I will be pulling for Burrow and company.

To replace Brady (if he is actually retiring): see if Carr is available from the Raiders, perhaps Josh McDaniels is not a big fan and he can be had for less than a king’s ransom as I believe he has one year left on his contract. Teddy Bridgewater is injury prone backup material, nothing more, as is Mariota and Cam Newton who were mentioned on that odd’s list Joe posted earlier today.

  120. FortMyersDave Says:

Rod, I think 5 or 6 points is about right as the Rams line. I just saw Draft Kings opened their line at -4.5 Rams and the money line -175 Lambs.

I guess it’s just going to be the Bucs with Trask or whatever journeyman scrub QB

  123. FortMyersDave Says:

Rod, I think any GM with half a brain would give Rah a chance at a head coaching job over someone like Bowles. Their first runs at head coach were similar (one good season each and then things fell apart) but what have they accomplished lately? Just look at how their teams compared in the last 2 weeks! Rah got it done and Toilet Bowles had an epic fail with some very questionable calls (not alone in that fashion as fans in KC, Dallas and Buffalo would tell you)……

Trubisky and Andy Dalton… wait, is Fitz available?

    Trask is the man!!

  128. Eric Says:

the guy would be nuts to put 45 year old bones at risk just for one more run. once your the Goat and proven it wasn’t all Bellichick no more mountains to climb.

now if we had covered their most dagerous receiver and won the game and Super Bowl, wild horses couldnt keep Tom from going for 3 in a row.

…good kickers often have so-so first years. Look at Gostkowski first year, he hit 76.9% of his kicks, slightly worse than Gay. Most great kickers will then have a solid year two, and be pro-bowl level kicker by year 3. Is Gay that guy? I actually think he is…

Gay will be fine – the Bucs should, and will, stick with him. But the guy lost 2 games for the Bucs completely by himself. The Bucs, at worst, should have been 9-7, and if you count the Titans game the refs stole, they’re 10-6. That’s with a defense that didn’t show-up for half the year and losing two pro-bowl WRs down the strech.

The team is really close to being an elite team – which is why I’m picking them for 11-5 next year … Meanwhile I think Gay finally makes a game winning kick for the first time in his life … Also the defense then builds on how they ended last year and everyone is excited to finally have winning football.

I’m one of the only consistent people on this board. I literally said Gay would be a pro-bowler by his 3rd year, and I was right.

Also nailed the 2020 season prediction before Brady even signed, said the team would be elite, go 11-5, even said how they’d do it … based on the defense finally stepping up.

  133. Rod Munch Says:

Why no follow-up from that dope YoungBucs who claimed I was lying? Amazing how that works, people just make stuff up, say you didn’t say this or say that, you show them proof, and then they just disappear. Trolling at its best I guess.
