Zero chance in this game. Let’s be realistic. The defense was going to have to play out of their mind and instead they are not even playing. Our offense is easy AF for them to stop. Jalen shuts down Mike and double Gronk. There is literally nothing we can do on offense. Lenny would have to go off. Too many shockers need to happen. It was a fun ride but we cannot beat the Rams this shorthanded. We can’t seem to beat them anyway. At least we held them to a fg but are we going to be able to do anything whatsoever on offense. I’m doubtful when you have the likes of Tyler John son and Scottie Miller to depend on. The sky is falling. I know. But tell me what we can do on offense against this defense.

We will get at least 2 drives a quarter in this game meaning we have 7 tries to score remaining. Rams also will have 7, they will get at least 2 TD and prob 2 FG so we are looking at 20 minimum. Tampa Offence will have to go 500% on drives and score on 3 or remaining 6, with TD to get their 21 plus FG and will need a defensive ball hawk to stay close and win in final quarter.

LB’s are getting roasted easily on 3rd and medium. Zero adjustments on defense. This game is long over. We got soundly beaten and our coaching staff was nowhere near having this team ready. The players and coaches have all failed in every way so far. All 3 phases of football have been terrible. Oh well. It was a fun ride but the effort at home in such an important game is awful. No Mark2001, this team lacks the horses.
The entire “Brady won Super Bowls with less WRs” ignored that Brady had one season or more to develop chemistry with them. Miller, Johnson get their practice reps with Gabbert, and have very little game chemistry with Brady.
And of course, once Wirfs went down, so did Brady’s ability to strike deep, or process the field to find the open man.

The tackling was not so hot there but the secondary has not been our big problem. Any team is going to feast if their QB has all day to throw. This highly paid D line minus one sack from Vea has been a complete waste of space. Lots of money for a bunch of guys to do nothing. It’s been a massive disappointment. We go as far as the O and D line take us. Both lines have gotten abused. Just look at the first down. We need a TD and our stud LT gives up a sack. Everything just went down the toilet. There was only so long realistically that you can expect to last when playing teams of this caliber in the playoffs. No Godwin etc was devastating but when Wirfs went down without the ability to protect Brady, it was hopeless. Well, that makes it official. See you next year boys. This one is 1000% over

@Francisco. Did you see the Patriots game against Buffalo? Sometimes a team just has you beat. We were beat before this game started and most of us kind of knew it. Sure, I thought we would fight but ultimately come up short. We didn’t even fight. The Rams just beat us down hardcore. It was an asswhipping. The defense doesn’t even have the heart to hold them to a fg. It was a sad effort. I don’t care if everybody on that field was a backup. It was still a sad, weak effort by our football team.

The only chance the Bucs had to repeat is if someone took out the Rams like last year. There are two teams this team cannot beat in the NFC. Rams and Saints. Rams are dominating literally every facet of the game. It’s like another level. If you are at the game it’s stunning how outplayed and outcoached this team is. The NFL is broken when a man kicks another man and then the man that was kicked gets a personal foul call for words said. Then a man that has never had a personal foul called against him and is the GOAT has a penalty called against him for talking to a ref. That’s a broken system NFL. I really hope that the Rams live to regret that fumble but the lead is just too big. That Cooper TD is a killer. That’s the one that broke us. That kind of communication breakdown is inexcusable. Brady is losing this game. Raheem Morris is the DC of the Rams. Bowles has the Bucs defense and he needs to raise hell about Brady. Bench him and put Griffin in. All Brady does is throw to the same guy. He changes nothing up. He’s so predictable, a cripple could stop him. He has turned the ball over, got sacked, and got nailed for taunting. It’s a tough pill to swallow and obviously I’m passionate shall we say but this isn’t altogether shocking. If we had a healthier offense namely our most important guys that are hurt, then I would be shocked if we only had 3 points. The Rams have the luxury of letting Jalen single cover Mike even if Mike gets a few catches and then they can bring heat. It’s just not shocking. The Rams would not have that luxury if Godwin was playing. They would not have as easy of a time getting in the backfield if Wirfs was playing but it is what it is. The Rams have the luck we had last year staying healthy. It seems the Packers always have that luck but still can’t get there.

Devin White, as much as I like him, he is just a bad football player. When I watch this defense Devin White is the guy I focus on and I would honestly say this year he is a worse pkayer then his rookie season……….At this point his playoff performce last year was nothing but a flash in the pan. IN that last draft, it was a forgone conclusion that the Bucs would either draft an OLB or DT to replace JPP or Suh. That was obvious.
After that there were 3 priorities: A developmental OT (quality backup who could become a starter, this was a very deep OT draft), and a CB (was not a strong draft for corners, but there were plenty available in Round 2. The third priority was an IOL (Guard or Center) as either Jensen or Cappa couldn’t be back.
Licht only drafted a IOL. That problem reared its ugly head today.

Tampa has some of the sorriest fans in the NFL. The team has been absolutely devastated by injurie. There is one receiver, a pro bowl tackle missing, too many guys on defense playing seriously injured… And you’re whining and complaining about playcalling and coaching.

Nah Francisco. the winner of this game was gifted the SB. The Rams came out here and took it and the injuries were predictably too much for us to overcome. Backups like Tyler Johnson were even worse than we could have predicted. Tyler has no business on the field ever again. This is n’t the first drop that he has had and this wasn’t a tough catch. I really cannot believe how bad this O line was. At the end of the day as you see it unfold, it was our O line that really crapped the bed. Very depressing that something that should have been a strength. Wirfs is out but so is their pro bowl LT. No excuses for the incompetence of our O line. They are the stink of the poop pile today.

The O line playing as poorly as it did early should have been a key for Byron to adjust. He’s not good enough to do so. Shoot. I could not blame Brady if he retires. The Ramerees made sure that this game didn’t get close. 1 penalty for 10 yards and then a personal foul that had no impact., All game long thats what got called on the Rams. Oh and that personal foul could easily have been part of the play and not after the whistle.

Based on the number of injuries to key players, it was a successful season. At least now I can watch the rest of the playoff games without my stomach in knots. (Trying to look on the bright side) Also, I handle these loses much better at 62 than I did at 32 or 42.

Donovan Smith lost us the game. My comment at halftime was wrong. Our offense is not good enough to win anything when Brady has no protection.
As bad as our defense was Donovan Smith is the biggest factor in our loss. If we didnt have an issue on the right side we could probably have made an adjustment and give him help.
He was completely exposed today and cannot ever be trusted to step up when you need him too. I say if we had Smith hurt today and Wirfs had to be the guy to step up the Bucs would be in a one score game.

The difference was our special teams sucked like they do every year. O line just sucked royally. Succop misses a FG, Pinion stupidly kicks the ball out of bounds twice. They had a few big returns while Darden can’t avoid tripping over his shadow. Hard to watch our strength become our weakness just like our receiving corps. Sad sad effort nonetheless. These backups have shown that they really can’t handle the real deal. And still with all of that they just couldn’t finish drives that would have had us in this game at the end. Very tough to watch this team fall apart. It was more than being shorthanded. It was poor play
