“I Think This Is A Blowout At Home For Tampa”

December 12th, 2021

Rondé Barber knows

Buccaneers legend Rondé Barber spent time this week scolding his brother for even thinking the Bills can hang with the Bucs today.

Barber says turn on the film and watch the Bills in their last seven games.

For those unaware, Barber co-hosts a sports gambling show, Betting With The Barberswhere he’s joined by his brother Tiki.

Rondé Barber doesn’t always talk Bucs during the show, but when he does, he’s usually dead on. Regarding his Bills-Bucs dissection, Barber explained that the Buffalo defense plays well collectively but does not have the big-time individual talent to matchup with Tampa Bay. Their stud cornerback Tre’Davious White blew his knee out a few weeks ago and Buffalo cannot rush the passer, Barber explained. He says that’s a toxic combination against Tom Brady and his array of weapons.

Throw in the Bucs’ perfect home record and Buffalo’s struggles against the spread (they’re 3-point underdogs), and Barber sees a laugher of a game coming for Tampa Bay.

The only chance he gave Buffalo is if quarterback Josh Allen has a monster day breaking contain and running wild to complement a strong day passing.

“I think this is a blowout at home for Tampa,” Barber concluded.

Brother Tiki Barber said he sees a much closer game because he thinks the Bucs have been inconsistent within games all year and let teams hang around.

As for Allen, Joe will add that he’s not running with the same impact this season. He has just three rushing touchdowns and hasn’t had one in the past five games, including the Bills’ 9-6 loss at Jacksonville.

    Sure hope he’s right….

  2. Roy T. Buford Says:

Both guys make good points. I see a Bucs win but do not see the blowout at all.

  3. RONDAE HOF 2022 Says:

IF U HAVE NO PASS RUSH AGAINST US…ITS A GUARANTEE LOSS…HOPEFULLY REFS LET US PLAY

been watching for 6 decades and a career Brady fan. As bad as I hate to admit it, I agree with Tiki. We all remember the Forest Gump line. “you never know what you’re gonna git” Nothing could be more true about the Bucs on BOTH sides of the line. Remember that can of beer from D.C. that used our secondary like a surgeon or that rookie from NE that carved our secondary like a Thanksgiving turkey and he didn’t even say a prayer before the first bite. So come on Bucs, don’t flip a coin. Kick their “butt-tocks” back to “Greenbo” Alabama!!!!!

Teams traveling coming off Monday night games have a higher percentage of losing. When you factor in their last game their D took a beating trying to stop 46 running plays, this game shouldn’t be close. We’re coming off an easy game against Atl, and are getting healthy playing at home. Our team has been on the rise, their team has been lost. Their coach is a douche, our coach is as cool as the other side of the pillow. This game won’t be close.

Ronde has more football knowlege in his pinkie than I do in my whole head. 🙂 That said, I don’t agree. This will not be a blowout. Broken record here: Brady, please no pick 6s with this team. They’re too good.

  7. Onetrickpony Says:

Not the time to be overconfident and relax.

  8. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I have to agree with Ronde here. The Bills do not match up well with us, especially with their top pass defender out.
They do have have the pass rush to stop Brady, and we should be able to pick them apart.

  9. Leighroy Says:

The Bucs have truly only blown out the Dolphins, Bears and Giants. There have been some large margins of victories in other games that belie the fact that it was a closer game for most of it. The Bills are not in the same category as those 3 teams.

Karma doesn’t like blowout predictions, so I’m predicting a cardiac kids kind of a game with it being closer than perhaps it should be given Ronde’s points.

  10. Cobraboy Says:

    I hope he’s right.

    I am not so sure.

This team has not shown the ability to shut down any good opponent and has been picked apart by no-name QB’s.

That said, this game will show us what this 2021 Bucs version is made of. If they can get nit together and make a signature win against a very good team, that bodes well for a deep SB run.

If not, if the Bills win or it’s even highly competitive, if it’s a shootout, I won’t have a lot of faith in a repeat.

  11. Beeej Says:

Both of those guys went to Cave Sprig High. What a team they must have had

  12. crazyBucs_CL Says:

I respect Ronde B a lot, smart, cautious and BIG Bucs fan.
This time his prediction comes from his heart, I guess.
We do not have D to blow up any average and above average team.
    Bills are above average.
    Wish/hope his prediction come true.
    Let’s go B!

  13. Rico210 aka wutdaBucisthis Says:

I echo so many others here, please be right. No 1 pass offense vs no 1 pass defense… let’s get after that @as with a 40 burger!
    Go Bucs

  14. cover deuce Says:

I’m more inclined to see it Tiki’s way. Josh Allen gives any team a fighting chance. A few penalties or an untimely turnover – or Lord Have Mercy another secondary injury – and Buffalo might find itself in spitting distance of an upset. They play the games for a reason man idk why everyone is still so obtuse about this.

  15. Lamarcus Says:

Everytime we beat our chest expect to run over the opponents, the opposite happens.

  16. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

When it comes to mobile qbs our outside ends always end up losing contain. They seem to forget these qbs have legs and can use them. When Suh and Vea do their jobs by pushing the pocket up they lose contain at the worst possible time like 3rd&15. This defense will keep game close if the offense stalls too many times

  17. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

I meant even if the offense scores a lot but if it struggles we’re in trouble

  18. crazyBucs_CL Says:

watching Washington-Dallas… wow, how in the hell WFT beat us??!!! I don’t get it. Well I do… !!!!
Bills …. careful, they can embarrassed us. Actually… very careful.

  19. Oneilbuc Says:

We will beat Buffalo and we should beat Buffalo !!

  20. BucsCoolade Says:

Great game coming.. watch out brady fans wearing brady undies… hehe

  21. VabucSINCE’97 Says:

You would think Tiki played for us lmbo

  22. SufferingSince76 Says:

The Bucs will take advantage of Buffalo’s urgency to win.
