Bucs Have No Idea How Well Buffalo Plays Without Tre’Davious White

December 12th, 2021

Will Tom Brady air it out?

Buffalo has a strong pass defense. At least it did until two weeks ago.

That defense took a major hit when Pro Bowl corner Tre’Davious White blew his knee out against the slimy Saints and was lost for the year.

So far, Buffalo has given up the fewest passing yards in the league, 1,983. Buffalo has also given up the fewest passing touchdowns (8).

Last week in their first game without White, the Bills defended just three passes from Mac Jones and the Belicheats, due in large part because the game was played in a gale with 60 mph wind gusts. So there really isn’t any way to tell if the absence of White will cause Buffalo’s pass defense to crumble.

Even Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians admitted watching Monday night’s Buffalo game against the Belicheats was a waste of time.

“Nothing. Nothing,” Arians said of what he got out of watching film of that game from a Bucs’ passing offense angle. “You go back and look at all the other teams that were closer to you and the games that they played.”

So the Bills’ pass defense today is a little bit of a mystery.

Given how Buffalo has been gashed on the ground in two of their last three games, Joe would be surprised if Playoff Lenny and Ronald Jones don’t get quite a few touches early.

What pass defense has stopped the Bucs?………It sure can’t help them that their #1 corner is out…….Pound them with Lenny & a touch of Gronk……a sprinkle of Godwin and a couple of TDs to Mike.

We know how the Bucs play without their own D secondary starters and that concerns me.

They have given up almost 600 yards on ground the last 3 weeks, and are coming off a short week, pound them I say and the passing game will be wide open by 2nd quarter

Arains got something from that game, they can’t stop the run. They must be sore from trying to stop the run, and have to travel coming off a short week. I think we test their manhood with our punishing run game. That’s our advantage, we can beat them either way.

Only 8 passing Tds allowed all year.

    Let’s double that today.

  6. Kentucky Buc Says:

Sorry all u run the ballers but setting up the run with the pass first is what works for the Bucs . Then play action after establishing some run off the pass. Then close out running once they’re up. Not that simple but that’s when the Bucs are at their best.

You mean slimeball Sean Payton and the Aints knocked this star Bills player out for the year? Wonder if the hit was legal. Well, mebbe, it will be a favor. Again, NO PICK 6s, BRADY!!

I think Brady boatraces Bills D right from the first snap. Im with ROH Rhonde
    Go Bucs!

  9. Kgh4life Says:

No pass defense has really stopped the Bucs, except the Bucs themselves, with penalties, drops and turnovers. We’ll see today if that’s the case.

  10. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

They have the number one pass defense because you don’t need to pass to beat them. Just run the ball down their throats, like Indy and New England did.
I know they are desperate for a win today, and they have a zillion Bills Mafia Fans down here for the game, but a win they will not get.
The only thing the Bills and their fans will leave Tampa with is a Suntan.

Seems like a good opportunity for RoJo. It’s not like he is worn down from a heavy workload.
I’d rest up Lenny as much as possible.

    RoJo!!

ROJO= no heart+weak mind. Watching him against Atl burned anything I have for him. Lenny might be painful to watch run behind the line but he is a good football player. Run him early and often get him to the outside so he can get his momentum going to hit his top speed. He’s like the Juggernaut $%@*# !!! We know the Bills are going to have a hard time with Brady so effective running will make it that much harder. My biggest problem is that our line couldn’t open many good holes against Atl so pessimistic about that today. We’ve had games where teams have poor rush defense yet we can’t even run against them. Still we have a much better chance to win now than I thought at the beginning of the season
