“I’m Going To Ride Til The Wheels Fall Off”

November 18th, 2021

It seems the practice plan for Jason Pierre-Paul and his multiple injuries has changed.

Bucco Bruce Arians previously said he was just fine with JPP not practicing any longer and just prepping himself for gameday with his busted fingers and a torn rotator cuff, which JPP has called the worst injury of his 12-year career.

But per JPP today at One Buc Palace, that plan didn’t work for him last week. JPP explained that he took his first hit against Washington and could tell that he didn’t practice — and that feeling is not for him.

So JPP was a full participant in practice today, and he’s convinced he’ll be a better player if he grinds through a week injured and then jumps in between the white lines on gameday.

“Even though I’m in pain I got to feel it [in practice,]” JPP said.

“I’m going to ride til the wheels fall off,” JPP said of his shoulder injury. “Some days it feel worse and some days it don’t.”

Joe is not a doctor and there is no evidence that JPP will benefit in any way by resting his shoulder. It sounds like it is what it is until it gets months to heal or is fixed by a surgeon.

“I don’t like taking pills,” JPP said after being asked about the injuries sparking issues with his sleep.

JPP is draining Pete’s energy. It’s one thing if he was playing well & nobody behind him to play. Pete has a torn rotator cuff & some days it hurts to sleep or move & sometimes it’s fine but i imagine playing an NFL game he hurts 6 days a week & definitely on game day

The wheels have been off for awhile, be good to get the real JPP out of the garage and playing again the way he is capable.

Injuries s*ck, they are the only thing preventing this team from dominating. Even in spite of stupid penalties they would dominate.

Your best Ability is your Avail-ability

We STILL have not seen the starting 22 from last year play just 1 full game this year.

And they still have a shot, albeit a small shot, they are not dead yet

    GO BUCS!!!!!

This doesn’t sound like a great idea but I’m just a fan. Is there a doctor at one Buc..

  4. Rod Munch Says:

This is why the NFL should allow for HGH, the big thing with them isn’t that they make you bigger or stronger, the big thing is they can dramatically speed up recovery. If they’re taken under the guidance of a real doctor, they’re very safe as well. Players could player longer and be in less pain if the NFL dropped it’s 1980s view of HGH being the same as steroids.

That final 10 minute drive by WFT brought back horrible memories of the time before Brady! Defense getting run over in the 4th, I mean we haven’t given up runs like we have the last 2 games the whole Todd Bowles era! That Colts game scares me next week. Have ya’ll seen Jonathan Taylor going nuts? Have to clean this up, and very quickly! I mean, it can’t be a coincidence, JPP banged up badly, and teams having success running the ball!

  6. Chris Says:

This is one tough mf’er. Wish we had 10 just like him.

  7. Bird Says:

He is a different cat for sure!

Hope the dude can walk later in life / function

Remember brad johnson had injuries in his career and really struggles these days with everyday life

  8. Swampbuc Says:

I will also have JPP’s baby.

  9. Swampbuc Says:

And before being scared about the Colts, be scared about the Giants. Be scared about the Jags.

    Be scared about Samford.

  10. Swampbuc Says:

PS — the Bucs’ wheels fell off in Washington. Horrible everything. That’s the kind of “wheels falling off” that you don’t recover from. Adios.

  11. Ben green Says:

You are what you are, no more street guys to pick up. Nobody wants to hear about injuries. It really sounds like whining. I know y’all have had a lifetime to bitch and complain about it, but it’s time to put the big boys on, and quit

  12. SteelStudBuc Says:

Bucs are too old… problem is the young guys are hurt too… last year was tough mid season too and they pulled thru… I have faith they gonna pull thru this year too

  14. Jack Burton Mercer Says:

He’s a pass rush specialist only these days. Especially on running plays.

  15. Hodad Says:

The wheels might not be off, but the tires are bald. Better stop at tire kingdom and get some new ones.

  16. Bojim Says:

Love you JPP but love the Bucs more. Please sit down.

  17. Mike Johnson Says:

Ride until the wheels fall off aye? Guess you don’t have to be so bright in some areas for ballin huh?

  18. Erik Says:

That is true determination and devotion to play hurt knowing that resting will not fix the problem the same that Brady played most of the season with a knee problem.

  19. Austin Says:

Our two press man corners are hurt, making us play soft zone with backups. That means QBs can get the ball quicker. Our entire defense changed without our corners, you can’t denie that. Once they are back we go back to normal, getting sacks and picks. Secondaries and Defensive fronts feed off each other in tandem. When one facet fails, it hurts the other one. Once we can press, jam, and run with receivers, we will get pressure. Causeling miss throw picks, and sacks.

If you break a piece of a Machine, the whole thing shuts down.
