Hall Of Fame Gronk Returns For Second Consecutive Game

November 28th, 2021

For the second consecutive game, Rob Gronkowski has been dragging tacklers and looking like a complete handful.

It’s been a no-fluke flashback to his Hall of Fame days in New England.

Joe is so fired up. It’s probably the most exciting thing about this Bucs turnaround of the past two games.

In addition to the power in Gronk’s game — and fresh legs — he’s getting open and mauling in the run game. Frankly, Joe credits all those weeks of Gronk freshening his wheels while his broken ribs healed and his tweaked back loosened up.

Joe’s eye test says Gronk just finished the two best all-around games of his Bucs career. Today he churned out 7 catches for 123 yards. The Colts had no answer for him. Call it paying their debt for literally double-teaming Mike Evans all game.

Just imagine if Antonio Brown returns healthy next Sunday in Atlanta, as Bucco Bruce Arians strongly hinted last week.

……That and Brady has turned into Captain Checkdown the last two games to…..

Once again……..horrible play-calling by Byron Leftwich and it is simply unacceptable that You can Chris Godwin and Mike Evans on your offense on the same field and they barely touch the ball the whole game.

I wonder if something is wrong with Brady or he doesn’t trust himself throwing passing because of all the interceptions he’s thrown this season?????

68 points and 2 wins the last 2 weeks. They came out and looked terrible, and still score more than enough to win.

I do not care what Brady and the offense does if it means winning.

I have watched a lot of losses since 1976, so whatever.

THEY WON THE GAME WITH #* POINTS FROM CHARLEY CHECKDOWN.

Again if it equals 38 and a win, and 30 and a win,

THEN SO BE IT, WINNING IS A LOT BETTER THAN LOSING

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

Dont think we win today without Gronk. He was unstopoable.

  4. Casual Observer Says:

I can understand Joe’s fired up status. Me too. Gronk and AB are super stars. Will really add fire to our offense. Now about that pass defense … .

I think we were 5for5 in the redzone today. And some clown is complaing about playcalling for the #1 Offense in all the land. What a stain.

You know Anthem your Brady hate always shines through, it was just dessert that the Bucs put out for the year your true man love qb. Guess you missed all the times Brady held on to the ball too throw deeper but Gronk was is the only one getting open deeper. Clown that you are is so laughable

gronk likes to punish tiny humans

  8. Swampbuc Says:

Anthem, do you forget to put your helmet on when the short bus driver hits you in the head with the mallet?

People that know football are giving high praise to Leftwich for his play calling.

It’s funny to read your posts though.

  9. Alanbucsfan Says:

Gronk averaged 17 yds/catch today. How is that checkdown?

NFL should have 2 bye weeks and allow more players on the roster and add an additional game and do away with preseason games completely.

Where was evans and Godwin is my main question

  13. rrsrq Says:

Expecting to see Gronk on “angry runs” when he drug number 30 to get that first down in the first half

  14. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

I agree. Without Gronk, I doubt we win the game. Anthem, you are just becoming more and more of a troll.

  15. Listnfrmafar Says:

I keep reading how Evan’s and Godwin don’t get the ball, well Brady used to take only 2.4 seconds to get rid if the ball, now because of BA’s and BL’s no risk it no biscuit offense the routes take too long to develop. Maybe you build a offense around the best QB that ever played strengths. That play call to Scotty whether they completed it or not was a horrible call at that time in the game.

I used to think JPP was the best trade acquisition in Buc’s history, that honor belongs to Gronk now.

  17. D-Rok Says:

Gronk. He was the difference this game. Enuff said.

Let’s give him next week off or really drop his work load down to nothing. Dude has history of injuries and you can see how valuable he is to us, so use him when needed, not against garbage teams. Watching him play, it’s amazing he doesn’t have more injuries. The way defenders have to tackle him, he’s always in a weird position or they drill him low. It’s scary on some of the hits he takes and we need him for the run!

  19. Rod Munch Says:

    Gronk is amazing.

If the Bucs could actually get any type of lead they should sit him as much as they can afford to. The downgrade from Gronk to Brate is as big of a downgrade as there is on this team, short of Brady to Gabbert. They need to make sure he’s healthy.

Also getting AB back should be huge, since, for whatever reason, they don’t have Godwin or Evans play in that AB spot underneath. Hopefully it also means less of seeing Brate on the field.
