“Good Morning Football” Is The Bucs

November 10th, 2021

“You’re Tommy.”

It seems “Good Morning Football” is the defending Super Bowl champion of morning television.

The signature show of NFL Network is, for Joe’s money, a toss-up for must-watch TV in the morning along with the creator, curator and overall guru of “Pro Football Talk,” the great Mike Florio.

(When Florio and “Good Morning Football” take a summer hiatus, Joe settles for Robin Meade and a network business channel.)

This week, former Bucs Super Bowl-winning running back Shady McCoy has been a guest co-host of “Good Morning Football,” and Shady decided to hand out titles to the three regular co-hosts, network it-girl Kay Adams, Kyle Brandt and closet Bucs fan Peter Schrager.

Interestingly, Shady said all three are comparable to Bucs players.

Shady said Brandt is a highlight reel pass catcher like foot-rubbing, car-littering, film guru Rob Gronkowski. Schrager, Shady compared to a receiver that can always be depended on, Mike Evans.

And Adams, Shady said, is the Tom Brady of network morning television.

The conversation is in the NFL Network video below. You can also find out what Brady’s nickname is among the Bucs.

And yeah, was this post just a reason for Joe to brighten up the website with another photo of Kay Adams? Joe cannot exactly deny that. 🙂

Frontier took away my NFL Network and raised my prices. So I switched back to Spectrum and guess what? They took it away too asking me to pay more money if I want it. I guess I’ll have to do without GMFB. I used to enjoy it too.

I was reading Kay Adams Wiki Bio the other day, and never knew she is 100% Polish! Yep, both her parents were Polish Immigrants.
    She is still Single too!
I watch both shows, but I prefer PFT.

excellent cast of characters – it’ll be interesting to see if they add a “fourth player” back in to replace nate…

Angry Runs is one the most entertaining football segments I enjoy on TV. I was sad to see Nate go, though – he had great comments. I’m a regular GMFB viewer. Adams just adds the icing on the cake. 🙂

    GO BUCS!!

Sling TV has NFL network. You have to switch from the blue plan to the orange (no charge but you have to do it) to watch ESPN Monday night. Tons of other channels on blue, too. $35.
