Antonio Brown (Sort Of) And Rob Gronkowski Working Out On Side Fields

No boot (today).

Well, this is an encouraging start to WTF week.

In the media viewing window of Bucs practice (which is pretty much limited to dudes jogging, stretching and maybe casually tossing a football around), Joe’s good friend Rock Riley found the two Bucs stars who have been sidelined recently with injuries, furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing Antonio Brown and foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru Rob Gronkowski, working out on a side practice field at One Buc Palace.

In the video below, you can (barely) see in the background Brown standing near a pylon without a boot and doing a little bit of high-stepping exercise. Gronk is doing some running.

The fact Brown doesn’t have a boot on is obviously a good sign. Gronk doing some running suggests his back spasms aren’t terribly bad.

    We need these two guys to be ready for the playoffs, if I was in charge I’d wait till they are 100% then wait one more week before activating them.

    let hope the they are not going to be rushed in. definitely both are not ready, and their injuries are serious and worst then they were represented to the public.

    Looking good for both.

    Brown’s high-stepping is to work out the quads and hammies while avoiding strain on the ankle tendons. It’s encouraging that he’s not wearing a boot. My amateur diagnosis from afar is that it looks like a garden-variety, grade 2 ankle sprain rather than the dreaded high-ankle sprain.

    I’d like to see Gronk avoid the next two weeks. Gronk has had back problems since college. That’s why he lasted until the second round during the draft.

    – we will NEVER KNOW if the stupid decision to put him back @ the game against Rams, worsen his injury.
    – we KNOW that was stupid to put him against the Saints.
    So mad with COACHLESS condition we have.
    Now what is left is just HOPE.

    WE CLOBBERED CHICAGO WHICH BEARS HAD VERY GOOD DEFENSE WITHOUT GRONK AND I THINK BROWN. IT LOOKED LIKE WE PLAYED BETTER TOO. I KNOW WE DEFINITELY NEED THEM AND OTHERS BACK BUT WE GOT THIS ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!! SECOND HALF OF SEASON BRADY GETS MAD AND PLAYS BETTER. I MEAN REALLY WE TOOK BRADY OUT TWICE WITH LIKE 8 MINUTES LEFT AND THERE SHOULD BE NO EXCUSES FOR OUR BELOVED BUCS TO SCORE 50 PLUS IN EVERY GAME IT’S NOT IMPOSSIBLE IT’S VERY POSSIBLE WITH PLAYERS WE HAVE ON OFFENSE. AND “ENOUGH” PLAYING CONSERVATIVE FOOTBALL I SAID IT BEFORE DO IT BELICHICK STYLE EVEN IF WE’RE PLAYING THE EORST TEAM. NO LEAD IS A SAFE LEAD. “JUST GIVE IT TO THEM HARD AND DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR THEM. ALSO IF WE HAVE TO PAY THE ZEBRA’S TO BE ON OUR SIDE LET’S PAY THEM BECAUSE IVE SEEN SOME OF THE WORST CALLS I EVER SEEN ON THE BUCS. SOME OF THEM ARE BETTER THAN THE STARTERS!!!
