“It Doesn’t Have A Damn Thing To Do With [Tom] Brady”

October 1st, 2021

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians.

It seems Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians is getting fed up with the Tom Brady-Bill Belicheat hype, too.

The nationally televised game on NBC Sunday night was being hyped from the moment it was announced. Hell, even the “Today Show” broadcast from Gillette Stadium this morning (Joe bets $5 Savannah Guthrie has no clue who Lavonte David is). And NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt is broadcasting there tonight.

Hell, Joe was sick of the hype before the Rams game.

And it seems Arians has had his fill as well. Today in his final press conference before the game, Arians lauded his team’s intensity but added a caveat:

“You could really feel the different in intensity this week,” Arians began in his opening remarks. “It doesn’t have a damn thing to do with [Tom] Brady. It has to do with losing.”

Of course, the Bucs lost to the Rams last Sunday and apparently, Arians’ team is peeved about how it played. “I liked how we bounced back on the practice field.”

Given how banged up the Bucs are, especially in the secondary, let’s cross our fingers the intensity carries over to the playing field Sunday night.

Bruce is starting to sound like a drunk in his final stages of life where they have ammonia brain & just blurt-out things

  2. Ben green Says:

Joe, you hear things. I’d consider you someone in the know. My people tell me the relationship between Arians and Brady isn’t great. If it’s just fanboy stuff on here, that’s fine. But, Ben would like to know what you know

  3. Ben green Says:

    Pete, your my hero

  4. Ben green Says:

    You’re

  5. Darin Says:

Is that your problem too Peter?

  6. Joe Says:

    Arians and Brady isn’t great.

Haven’t heard that. Remember, Brady extended his contract. If he didn’t like Arians, he likely wouldn’t have added another year and is talking about more.

Few months ago Brady posted a picture of him with his arm around Arians writing about what “a great coach and better man” Arians is.

  7. Youngbucs Says:

Joe I also consider you in the know. My people are telling Sean Peyton is so scared he won’t look like a genius. This is why the saints offense sucks he’s scared to let winston throw. I would be scared also any input into that?

  8. Joe Says:

I would be scared also any input into that?

Yeah. If you are scared to have your quarterback throw why even have him on the field? Especially since Payton’s love child is backing him up. Doesn’t make any sense.

Whoever your “people” are need to put the bourbon down.

  9. Ben green Says:

But Joe, isn’t that more of a shot at Bill, than an endorsement of Arians? You and Ben both know the bulls&@$ that goes on. Why wouldn’t he want to play for that roster. Charles Manson could be the coach, and it wouldn’t matter to Brady.

  10. Youngbucs Says:

    😂

  11. Ben green Says:

Peyton has reason to be afraid. Hill is a gadget player, who couldn’t stand the pounding. Peyton understands that. He’s a system guy much like his mentor. His support of Winston is proof of that. He thinks as long as his team wins the TO battle, they’ll be in good shape. You can’t be afraid of your QB though. Look at the 9ers. Kyle is absolutely petrified of Jimmy g. You can’t play winning football that way. In the end, it’s a passing league.

  12. Captain Dan Lawrence Says:

This is a case of the head coach, who has enjoyed being the center of attention the previous few years, not being completely comfortable playing second fiddle to anyone! We should be fine, but some of the comments have gotten to him. I thing that is exactly why the Patriots coach said the BUCS are running Patriots plays. He wanted to get under Bruce’s skin. It appears to have worked!

  13. Ben green Says:

    Agreed Captain

  14. Ben green Says:

Joe, Ben implores you to ask around, and dig a little deeper. My guys are adamant that things aren’t hunky dory

  15. alton d green Says:

poor Bruce. didn’t Daddy love you?

  16. Sparky Says:

@Ben Green “your guys”? and how exactly would “your guys” know anything about it? To say the Brady/Arians relationship has soured goes against any common sense and everything Brady has said and done publicly. At least last year when people were saying it, it was because Bruce had called Brady’s performance out. But now? What possible reasons would either one have to not like the other?

  17. @MidAtlanticBucsFan Says:

I think “Ben green” slipped some pills from @Medicated Pete’s questionable reserve blend. Stick to your guns, Joe, and keep popping the popcorn. We have silly clowns amongst us… Go Bucs!

  18. Youngbucs Says:

Ben I believe you and joe are missing my point. What I’m saying is peyton is so scared everyone will say he couldn’t fix winston. That’s why he’s playing football like it’s the 60s. They’re offense is trash because he’s trying to keep it outta winston hands. And I don’t blame winston has gotten away with a couple of bad decisions so far. It can’t be encouraging for Peyton we see how it plays out it’s interesting imo.

  19. Joe Says:

Ben I believe you and joe are missing my point. What I’m saying is peyton is so scared everyone will say he couldn’t fix winston.

You clearly dont know Peyton’s ego (Joe does from 35 years ago). He aint scared of sh!t.

  20. Hodad Says:

I hope all this hype is getting under their skin, and they take it out on N.E.. This is a must win game! Lose to a rookie QB on Tom’s home coming? That’s the real pressure.

  21. Destinjohnny Says:

    Kinda like winstons homecoming ??
    Jk

  22. Youngbucs Says:

He could’ve fooled me joe I’m watching gms and he’s running it on 3rd and 6 running it on 3rd and 8 running it on 3rd and 11. Can’t hide him all season let him put his numbers up.

  23. Oneilbuc Says:

Payton is a smart coach he knows his starting receivers or out so would you throw 40 times a game with backups receivers lol 😆! You see that’s how you know a person that don’t know nothing about football !! Plus he have a real running game. But just wait until his starting receivers comes back.

    (Hardy) har!, har! Wowzers!

Medicated Pete, It seems to me you are exhibit one for the pot calling the kettle black. You really need to “clean up your act” and detox.

Have you had your fill of tired cliches, mixed metaphors and outmoded expressions yet?

I’ve got a million of ’em.

    😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜

  25. Youngbucs Says:

The proof is in the pudding I know more football than the dumbest commenter here. I know enough to see that in 2 out of 3 games the saints where able to keep the gm out of his hands. Because the games fell that way easier decision to allow Peyton to play it safe. What happens when you play the better teams like I said can’t hide all season. In the few games we’ve seen the same reckless decisions that plagued the Bucs.

  26. Youngbucs Says:

Dude had some of the best weapons in the game. Spare me the receiver excuses. I wanna see consistency in the decision making everything else is just recycled excuses.

  27. Youngbucs Says:

By best weapons in the game I’m talking about with the Bucs to be clear.

  28. Youngbucs Says:

Real run game they’re the worst offense in the nfl lucky to be 2-1 but a win is a win all that matters.

  29. Oneilbuc Says:

Youngbucs . I stand on my statement when Jamies gets his starting receivers back and if he’s still throwing interceptions than it’s all on him . I said it before and I will said it again he have the running game and the coach plus a defense. So now it’s on him if he fails than it’s all on him .
