Brady Says It’s The “Sample Size” Time Of Year

October 21st, 2021

Joe gets the feeling that Tom Brady is salivating to get back on the field against the Bears on Sunday.

He talked to Joe and assembled local media today about how this is the time of the NFL season when defenses have put plenty on film  — a big “sample size” — and they won’t change too much of what they’re doing.

And in Joe’s mind that means it’s advantage Brady. His legendary football knowledge and IQ should be able to take over when the game gets more predictable.

Throw in beastly Bears edge rusher Robert Quinn on the COVID list, and All-Pro edge rusher Khalil Mack banged up along with Bears stud receiver Allen Robinson, plus a rookie Chicago quarterback, and it adds up to the Bucs being heavy favorites Sunday at The Licht House.

Bucs-Bears, Round 2. Unless you’re slipping meds provided by pill-popping, Natty-Boh-binge-drinking, Rojo-peeved, Trask-bashing, meltdown-having, Monday-morning-quarterbacking, Ray Jay breaking-and-entering, Gruden-hating @Medicated Pete, I’d say the vast majority will go with the Bucs on this one.

    Bucs > Bears by 10.

Bucs have been waiting all year to get their rematch with the Bears. Expect them to pound the rock and hit em with play action passes all night long.

  4. Patrianakos Says:

Just keep track of down and distance, and we’ll be fine.

TB12 trolled the Bears thru Aaron Rodgers this week. Why poke the Bear????? His 1st dumb move as a Buc

  6. Swampbuc Says:

Win by a point. I’ll take it.

We’ll make it close….we usually do.

  8. DBS Says:

Any given Sunday. With our flag happy PI help them move down the field secondary. And the defense makes rookies look like all pros at times. Think I will hold off on Heavy Favorites. But agree. Win by1 point and I will take it.

My full expert arm-chair opinion of the game : Bucs win

  10. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Until the Bucs can prove otherwise, this will be another close game. I’ll take the one point win. This team could easily be 0-6 instead of 5-1.

  11. Bird Says:

    Just fyi ,

Bears have second best pass defense in nfl. And they’ve had our number over the last few years.

    No blow out.
But Bucs win on beautiful sunday game.

  12. Listnfrmafar Says:

Scotty, Arizona could easily be 0-6 if they didn’t win their games to. Injuries early and still winning is a bonus. Once healthy Bucs still don’t have great secondary but they didn’t last season either. Healthy players bring healthy W’s.

Ain’t scared, not one bit. MidAtlanticBucFan is giving a tuddie plus homefield three. I’ll go three more with OU at 41.5, taking the over. VV50 goes wild, and Antoine Winfield make dad proud with a pick in the fourth. Doubt Gronzilla can stand it any longer and suits up. I think da Bears get rolled up early.
    LFG Bucs!

This is kinda game that could bite the bucs on the ass. They are to beat up to take any game for granted. Lose a couple of these should be a walkthrough games and end up missing 1st seed and have to tour the world to get to the SB . I have a feeling that My boy Tom and company are going to have to battle these injuries all season. If anyone here has a clue about the game you know ankles, hamstrings and such don’t really heal up until off-season.
