“The Ahhhs, The Ooohs & The Heyys”

Carlton Davis speaks

With every Tampa Bay starter returning and most of the backups, it’s hard to find things that will be different this season.

Carlton Davis really emphasized after practice today how much full stadiums, especially at home, will make a huge difference.

Davis noted that Bucs preseason games this season had more energy and people, he believes, than when he became a Buccaneer in 2018. And magic and energy of a loud house is a big deal to Davis, he explained. Home or away, crowd energy helps him lock in.

With an affection tone, Davis spoke of “the Ahhhs, the Ooohs & the Heyys.”

Joe wonders a little whether every Buccaneer will feel the same way. Some players may prefer the empty and partially-filled stadium experience of 2020, though none may admit it.

Of course, the Bucs game on Thursday — NFL Opening Night! — is sold out. But ticket prices have been dropping on the secondary market. A pair of tickets on StubHub.com now can be had for less than $600.

Zero chance Pete sits in a stadium full of unvaccinated hillbillies

  2. Youngbucs Says:

If you got the jab, what are you worried about?

  5. Buxszntkt Says:

Yes Pete, I got the vax but so many unvaxxed hillbillies running around led to my getting a breakthrough infection. Now I’m feeling pretty immune ! Don’t think I can pick it up at this point, 5 weeks post Delta.

  6. Bucfan593 Says:

Wow Pete maybe you should move to NYC Or LA with the rest of the snobs

  7. Bucfan593 Says:

The vaccine caused the variant not natural immunity. But good luck to both of you.

  8. mark2001 Says:

Bucfan… viruses mutate naturally. It is in their nature. That is what they do. It had nothing to do with the vaccine. And it seems to be still mutating… many times in places where very few are vaccinated.

  9. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

I can see Medicated Pete’s concern. The Vaxxed are displaying a lot worse symptoms than the unvaxxed.

  10. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Those that choose to be unvacinnated are essentially a little stupid.

  11. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

    Unvaccinated = slow class

  12. Booger Says:

Obvious Pete is an uneducated know it all, there is no vaccine retard. In order to be called a vaccine , the virus has to be in it. Gene modification is more like it, by th time you take the 8th jab, seat prices will be very cheap cause 30 percent will leave this earth

  13. mark2001 Says:

Viruses mutate. That is what they do. They are living things. Places we have seen occur…Colombia, India, S. Africa. Hardly high vaccination rates, and in fact, just the opposite.

  14. mark2001 Says:

Mutations from.. Colombia, India, S. Africa..

  15. mark2001 Says:

    Low vaccination countries.

Alpha in England before Vaccinations. Gamma Japan/Brazil before vaccinations.

  19. mark2001 Says:

Just hope the Buc fans in the stadium will remember to quiet down when the O is working, and blow the lid off when the Cowboys are on Offense. Packer fans are very good at that.

  20. Charles Elliott Says:

Pete is a sissy. I won’t miss one single game . Go Bucs!

  21. Pete Says:

    Ever heard of thalidomide?

  22. You gotta be crazy Says:

The Epoch Times reported on covid 19 on March 2020. Everything in that article is known to be true today. I’ve been around n smoked weed with covid positive ppl…. Never been sick… But ivermectin better than the vax.

  23. You gotta be crazy Says:

  32. Jerry Says:

Not everyone is sold on the Bucs. Peter King’s Super Bowl pick is the Rams and Bills, with the Rams winning it in LA.

  33. webster Says:

So we have someone saying vaccinated people are showing worst symptoms than unvax and another poster is advocating for horse worm medications smdh. Whats wrong with you people.

  37. BillyBucoff Says:

Ghost you need to go rewatch the SB or something lol.
I do know how you feel because it is such a big game.
I even have Dak starting in my fantasy league.

I just think he will turn the ball over too many times and you can’t give this offense that many chances.
    Aint no Atlanta. defense.

Even McCarthy is acting like it will be good experience for his DBs. Quitter.

  38. PSL Bob Says:

Well, Medicated Pete accomplished his goal. Get everyone fired up about a topic other than football.

  39. Buxszntkt Says:

Pete were you a baby on thalidomide ?

  40. mark2001 Says:

Since you have mentioned thalidomide,…just to make the record clear…

Thalidomide, morning-sickness drug that caused disabilities, wasn’t FDA-approved for pregnant women

Look it up if you wish…Not that among its thousands of approved drugs, there isn’t an occasional problem or recall. But just to set the record straight.

  41. mark2001 Says:

Those kind of things are what happens when people take drugs, or cocktails of drugs not approved for the specific disease or range of FDA usage. Neighing and such.,..

  42. PassingThru Says:

Thalidomide not only wasn’t FDA approved (which is why the mutations were in Europe), it also has absolutely nothing to do with an mRNA vaccine. There is nothing in the mRNA synthesis of proteins that would interfere with the cell cycle (the CDKs to be specific), which is what occurred with thalidomide. In other words, you aren’t going to get cancer and women out there aren’t going to give birth to babies with genetic abnormalities.

mRNA vax is pretty cool stuff, it doesn’t use dead or weakened virus. It’s relatively safe, and much, much more safe than not getting vaccinated at all. It is also far more safe than the pharmaceuticals that the general public takes for other maladies.
