Rob Gronkowski Claims Bucs “Have A Great Vibe”

September 3rd, 2021

No dog days for Gronk.

Hey, did you hear? It’s game week, baby!

Yes, in six days the Bucs open the season against handsy Jerry Jones and his Cowboys. Can’t freaking wait!

So in part to pimp the game, Bucs foot-rubbing, car-littering tight end Rob Gronkowski showed up to talk Bucs and football with co-hosts Kyle Brandt, closet Bucs fan Peter Schrager, DeAngelo Hall and non-meat-eating, Kansas-City-barbeque-visiting Kay Adams (who the hell goes to Joe’s in Kansas City and only eats sides — what’s the point?).

The way Gronk tells it, the Bucs know teams are coming for their arses as defending champs. So Gronk told the “Good Morning Football” crew the Bucs are trying not just to be a well-oiled machine, but to find ways to get better and counterpunch what they likely will receive from opponents each week.

“We have a great vibe in this building,” Gronk said. “Everyone is in it together. … No one thinks they are too good for this opportunity. [The Bucs] keep on finding ways to get better. Other teams are going to come in and give us their best shot.”

Gronk also added that it doesn’t matter what year it is or how old he may be, never to relax and accept the status quo is park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.

He’s always trying to improve, even though he’s an NFL old man at 44.

You can see Gronk’s full interview in the NFL Network video below.

  2. Rico 210 Says:

I just feel like it’s our time. Other teams get run as the big dawg in the league. Is our time now.
    20-0 till it ain’t so
    Go Bucs

  3. PSL Bob Says:

The guy’s always in party mode except when he hits the field. Then it’s all business. Love it!

  4. Marine Buc Says:

Ya gotta love Gronk… He is just loving life and it shows. Dude has major positive energy. I’m glad he brought that positive energy to Tampa.

  5. lambeau Says:

Gronk couldn’t stop grinning in 2017 because he had 69 receptions–said it had always been his favorite number and a lifelong dream of his.

  6. Winny Testaverde Says:

Who here doesn’t want to be this guy?! Gronk is something special…Belichick just threw another sideline phone.

  7. Bucsfanman Says:

Yeah, I’m a big fan! This guy has been like this his entire career. He LOVES the game and it shows.
This guy is locker room glue! Why do you think Brady wanted him here?!

  8. Darin Says:

    She just doesn’t chew meat

  9. Buxszntkt Says:

  10. Biff Barker Says:

  11. Jaymiss Pick6 Again Says:

Surprised you let Darin slid that comment in joe – hahahahaha!! @ Darin

  12. Rod Munch Says:

I do not understand how people watch this stuff meant for housewifes. It’s just boring drivel… but meant to put a SMILE on your face :))))

    YUCK

Disgusting. Reminds me of the old Buccaneers Magazine that was aligned with the team and just posted nothing but puff pieces — even as a kid it disgusted me. I don’t need fake drama, but I find the softball stuff to just be boring and uninteresting.

  13. Listnfrmafar Says:

Rod Munch, really. The most underrated TE of 2021 says he jacked to play and loves his team? You’re about to see a better Gronk than last year. Who is not motivated on this team? If you find them cut them like Rod arsenic Munch should be removed by Joe. The question is, expectations are SO high, can Brady keep them together if they lose a few games?

  14. Winny Testaverde Says:

Hot Rod prefers the “hard hitting pieces” such as his mind numbing texts during a pre-season game open thread. Who wants to hear about arguably the greatest TE in modern history…who’s linked to Brady when they can read about Hot Rod’s Hot Takes in text form?!

  15. Ne+ bucs fan Says:

    69 TD,,not reception

  16. dls5492 Says:

It’s Gonks’ world. We just live in it.

  17. Ontario Mike Says:

Sprinkle in a dose of Cameron Brate and OJ Howard and I’ll take our TE combo over any other team’s trio !!
