Antonio Brown Finishes Probation A Year Early

June 22nd, 2021

The revival of Antonio Brown’s historic NFL career took another step forward today — and he didn’t even have to write a woman a check.

Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and one of Brown’s lawyers, the Bucs’ future Hall of Fame receiver is no longer on probation. Brown was sentenced a year ago after an assault charge following a hassle with a furniture mover. Brown was ordered to complete two years probation, anger-management classes, community service and time with a psychologist.

It appears Brown was super diligent in meeting his commitments and is now free of court supervision.

Good for Brown, who has yet to resolve the civil matter related to the incident.

Joe’s always happy to see a guy going in the right direction.

And Joe is extra pleased to learn Brown’s anger management training is behind him. That could come in handy this season if Bucs receivers and tight ends all stay healthy and targets are much harder to come by.

Hard to keep up! Hope he keeps it all business for the year so we can move on after. I don’t see him here long-term. History is not on his side.

Teams will find you use for you if you can produce. Off the field, issues be damned.
