If it was up to Tom Brady, the Bucs would kick off the 2021 season tonight against the Cowboys.
It sure seems like wants a recall of “America’s Team” has been demanded by the Bucs’ park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback.
Brady yesterday posted on Instagram stories a picture of himself and a caption reading “9/9 can’t come soon enough to open against America’s Team.”
In the upper-right hand corner is a woman winking.
It seems like Brady wants to trash Dallas’ weak defense so badly that Jerry Jones might have to lay off the Johnny Walker Blue for a few days.
Joe agrees with Brady wholeheartedly. Sept. 9 can’t get here soon enough.

Hey mam there’s no need to spit on Marvel movies, Scorcese’s right, they arent traditional cinema but they are fun to watch and easy to digest and a select few of them rise above the superhero movie label and are actually just good movies.
But thats’s beside the point. There are absolutely still fantastic, thought provoking films being made today, you just have to look a bit harder. Parasite for example, while not exactly an indie movie (it won best picture in 2019) is one of the best pieces of cinematic excellence I’ve ever seen. Once upon a time in Hollywood was another great film from the same year made by one of the last great American directors.
The current landscape of movies will never be able to top the good old days. But there are still nuggets of gold to be found.
