Antonio Brown Makes Bucs Lethal

May 22nd, 2021

Predicts Bucs record.

The face of NFL Network not named “Kay Adams” went on record this week saying the Bucs could have as dangerous of a passing offense as a football team can have.

Rich Eisen is looking at another factor, not the big deal of how park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady will have a full season after finally mastering the Bucs playbook.

With furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown on the team for a full season, with a healthy knee, you almost pity the poor defenses the Bucs will face.

Speaking on his weekday Peacock show, “The Rich Eisen Show,” Eisen senses Brown will make the Bucs electric.

“I have a feeling he will show up to training camp, he will be under contract and we will see him for a full season with Tom Brady and maybe the Buccaneers offense will be even better. Cause he will have a full year. And his knee will be cleaned out.”

So how good will the Bucs offense be? Eisen said good enough for a 13-4 record (remember, 17 games this year).

If AB is healthy from the get-go, the rich just got (very) richer. Amazing set of weapons for our GOAT.

  2. Capt.Tim Says:

Godwin and Evans make the Bucs lethal.
    Brown makes it terminal.
You cant cover those 3. You dont have enough defenders.
Not to mention the Buc’s wrecking ball running game.

    And the Keel hauling defense.
its gonna be a great a great few years- being a Bucs fan.

  3. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Bucs can only afford to keep 6 WRs at the most.

    3 are safe:
    Mike Evans
    Chris Godwin
    Antonio Brown

The next four will be fighting for the next 2 or 3 spots:
    Jaeleon Darden
    Scotty Miller
    Tyler Johnson
    Justin Watson

Dardin most likely is safe being a fourth round draft pick and our future Punt returner. Tyler Johnson is showed promise by the end of the year. Scotty Miller has top end speed and decent on the outside. Watson is ok as a WR but one of our best special teamers.

  4. 1sparkybuc Says:

Nobody mentions the WR we just drafted. I believe he will have an impact on offense as well as STs.

  5. Hope springs eternal Says:

Brady will pick apart zone defenses. Add the tight ends to the already mentioned receivers and you just cannot cover them all. And now Gio out of the backfield plus the two headed running game! This year should be really fun to watch. So many weapons!

So proud to be a bucs fan right now. I love turning on ESPN or FS1 and especially NFL network and seeing that my bucs are the main topic. I remember just not so long ago that it almost felt like it was illegal for these debate shows to talk about the bucs in a positive winning manner. I’m not really sure if most people or fans of the game know what it’s truly like to have a real winning culture.

” The culture precedes positive results. It doesn’t get tacked on as an afterthought on your way to the victory stand. Champions behave like champions before they’re champions: they have a winning standard of performance before they are winners.”

Too much firepower for any defense to try and defend.

I could play pretty okay QB for the Bucs…and I’m 50.

It’s going to be a helluva a fun season this year.

    Go Bucs!!!

  8. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Antonio Brown is outstanding….and to have him as our # 3 WR…..well, that’s not even fair.

As far as us keeping only 6 WRs…..I disagree….we have 7 last year….remember Mickens?…..he’s the one who will be cut because of Darden……Watson stays because of ST and knows the offense and is a good backup in case of multiple injuries.
We also have 4 very good pass-catching TEs…..Gronk, OJ, Brate and Hudson….

  9. Wesley Says:

Does any other team have 3 #1 receivers? It’s amazing Evans was even able to reach 1,000 yards last year.

  10. Casual Observer Says:

Wesley – I take your point. Stats will be down for all receivers this year. Only so many catches to go around. Hopefully, no one will care – as long as the Ws continue.

  11. Anonymous Says:

…and if you don’t know now you know!!

  12. geno711 Says:

What is nice if any of the top guys are injured, we still have an elite group of pass catching talent.

We keep talking about how Brown got better as the season went on but what about Gronk getting better as well.

Think about our backs with a full offseason and preseason with Brady.

80% of this article was a juvenile effort at self-gratification to the annoyance of readers. Grow up man.

  14. lambeau Says:

I wonder what AB has to do to earn bonus money–Tom will have to get him the ball or AB will be bent out of shape if the others make $16 M and he only gets $3 M.

  15. Rads Says:

No reason that I can see to be humble in our estimation of our team now. We have the most talented offense in NFL history.

  16. Stanglassman Says:

That is a weak 13-4 team that didn’t beat anyone. 13-4 would be a nice regular season total but I hope that schedule prediction isn’t correct.

  17. adam from ny Says:

eisen had us losing to basically all the good teams…

i agree we lose, rest, and are tired before the bye, and lose in new orleans in the first match up…i have us with one divisional loss…this is it

i have us losing to a sh!t team as a wake up call…the wtf just happened game…most teams have one a year…we will sleepwalk thru one game and lose – even if on a last second field goal
24-21…these games do happen…even to this bucs squad…

i have us losing to one top team…say the rams, buffalo, indy or some team breaking out of the pack next year…

and then possibly a midlevel team beats us…or maybe not…

    thus 13-4 or 14-3…

also i have us open up a can of whoop azz on teams about 4 times…basically about once every quarter of the season to let the league know what we are capable of…

basically i think we have 3-4 complete domination games where we win say 48-14 or 50-10…just complete blow outs where the game was over before it even started..we’re gonna have a few of these – maybe even 4 of them

  18. daniel Da Man Says:

My concern is our guy Brady. He is a huge target for our defenses competitors ,you know they will go for
    His knee’s. .
Hope the best for you tom Brady!

  19. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Yeah sure he makes the Bucs lethal. That’s why no other team signed him.

  20. SOEbuc Says:

Tell me something I don’t know Joe. I hope you don’t need Kay Adams confirmation on this.

Also think you wrote maybe one and a half sentences in this article without the dumbass nicknames. You really need to get off those Joe.

  21. 6throundpick Says:

everyone can be lethal in this offense; too many great players to cover. In NE, Gronk would get double/triple teamed. In Pitt, AB got the same. Even in TB, Godwin would get it. Who do you double/tried, now? TB12 will find the open man. This lineup should let these guys shine. In addition, they have more options/strategy; are not a one-trick pony.
