“Hell No, I Ain’t Going Anywhere”

February 8th, 2021

We know nothing about a bunch of Bucs free agents who are scheduled to hit the open market when the free agency dinner bell rings next month.

One guy who isn’t a free agent could up and retire but already has vowed he’ll return. And that is the best coach in Bucs history Bucco Bruce Arians.

After the game last night on a Zoom conference call, Arians spoke quite clearly and pointedly about his 2021 plans.

“Hell no, I ain’t going anywhere,” Arians said. “I’m coming back, trying to get two and then we’ll see after that, but no this football team, I love these guys and we have a great staff, great team. Hopefully Jason and I can get together and keep most of them and try to repeat.”

Earlier on Super Bowl Sunday, CBS Sports reported had the Bucs won, Arians likely would ride off on his Bucs golf cart into the Florida sunset and hand over control of the team to Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.

Joe once believed that Arians, as part of his agreement to take over the Bucs, would only do so if he could set up one of his coordinators to take over for him. The fact Bowles had so many interviews for a head coaching job pretty much shot that theory dead.

Sounds like players want to come back too

    Shaq and even suh
    Hopefully some team friendly deals

AB needs the money so he is likely gone
Playoff lenny can get 7-8 mil per year so he is likely done
Good thing we can replace fournette with first pick of draft

I want them to go defense but they can get rb from alabama or clemson

Ndog has cried for 10 hours straight
    😂

  3. Steven007 Says:

Bird, right? I went on a rant on all the well-known trolls in another post just a bit ago but it’s in moderation. Even called out you for help, haha.

  4. zzbuc Says:

Licht’s creativity will be core…….I dont know, with market cup down we will be able to resign so many players…..Need some paycuts……

  5. Tampabuscsbro Says:

Man I wonder where T Max, Ndog and Realist went?

We WON THE SUPER BOWL BABY

  6. Coburn Says:

Think first pick should be an edge rusher or dline. Need youth there. Pickup another vet at RB and take a later pick

  7. FrankPillow Says:

BA deserves to swim in a pool filled with Crown! As much as the players learned how to win, he too learned how to adapt his approach and scheme. That’s not easy in the ranks of NFL coaching where egos reign supreme.

  8. Joehelldeloxley Says:

Get rid of Lesean McCoy to save cap space.
Bring back as many as you can, I think some players will do an effort financially if they think they can go and grab another ring

  9. Infomeplease Says:

Everyone made fun of BA when he was asked what is your identity (the team’s)? BA response was something like:. We can do what ever we want!! Everyone made fun of him! BA PROVED HIS STATEMENT TRUE!! Whatever we want!! INCLUDING WIN THE SUPER BOWL!!!! STOP KC FROM SCORING A TOUCHDOWN IN THE SUPER BOWL!!! WHATEVER EVER WE WANT!!!!

  10. Bucsfanman Says:

BA’s influence cannot be understated. It was BA who brought about the shift in culture in that locker room. Brady and others don’t come to Tampa Bay without BA as Head Coach.

  11. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Football is much like Hockey, in that the team with the best overall seasons record is seldom the Stanley Cup Champ.
Arians had our team hot, when it mattered, and that is why Sean Peyton said no one wants to face the Bucs right now.
We just watched History last night. We are not just the only team EVER to have played a home game in the Super Bowl, but we WON that game!
IMHO, that record will not be broken soon, if ever!

  12. Buc1987 Says:

Stale biscuit this and stale biscuit that….

  13. 813bucboi Says:

If BA hands it over, I think it goes to BL….wouldn’t mind Bowles tho….

    GO BUCS

  14. geno711 Says:

I give Rod Munch and Clean House credit.
They have been Jameis fans but in the end, they show they are clearly more Buc’s fans than anything else.

Glad that at least for 6 months, we should not see Kobe Faker and Ndog.

  15. Steven007 Says:

Geno, good one. I forgot about Kobe, that weird narcissistic self-referencing toolbox. Always up there for the most inept poster on this blog.

  16. The Red Mirage Says:

Someone should hide El Bucco Estupido’s shoe laces….or not.

  17. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

“Think first pick should be an edge rusher or dline. Need youth there.”

With the 32nd pick of the 2021 NFL Draft the World Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Kyle Trask QB University of Florida!

    Dynasty!!

  18. buxsxntkt Says:

Did you guys see BA give a soft call out to all the CBS talking heads. Only Bill Cowher picked the Bucs, and BA was aware, looked a bit upset these so called experts all picked against us. Although the real experts, the ones who faced us, Matt Ryan, Cam Heyward, etc… picked us.

  19. BradyBucs Says:

    BIRD,

Hats off to you for consistently calling out the “Troll Fans”… all those fake Bucs fans who abandoned our team when Winston wasn’t resigned.

I’m not a person that usually finds pleasure in other people’s pain, but I’m willing to make the exception for Ndog. What an unbelievable history that guy had of posting hundreds of times to criticize this team and staff after Winston wasn’t brought back. His “Super Bowl or bust” stuff, which anyone knew a SB was highly against the odds for any team to achieve.

Yet here we are… Super Bowl Champions. It really is a fairytale Troll Crusher story.

Then all those crybaby posters like Lamarcus, Oneil, Kobe Faker, Realist, Tmax, and so many others… including that “Brady is a cheater” guy that tried trolling every game thread for weeks.

It makes winning all that much sweeter to know that those “fans” that abandoned our team over their favorite player leaving didn’t show team loyalty in a year we finally pulled off a magical run to win the Super Bowl.

    Haha. It really is amazing.

  20. Cobraboy Says:

@Chris: the Bucs join a small number of elite teams who won the SB as a Wild Card.

    That’s quite the feat!

  21. westernbuc Says:

It’s not a bad thing if a few guys leave. Then we get compensatory picks and can build a dynasty

  22. SufferingSince76 Says:

Word on the street is Realisto was last seen choking on an old stale biscuit.

  23. #1bucsfan Says:

Hahaha nothing sounds better than having the last pick. We didn’t trade for that spot. We won that spot. Hell yea still sooo hyped. Let’s gooo. Repeat Bucs.
