Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians decided to go full-blown Bill Belicheat on his team this week.
No, nothing ornery or underhanded. No secretive film. Nothing like that.
The six-time Super Bowl-winning coach of the Patriots is known for hollering at his players, “do your job.”
It often works.
As much as it pains Joe to type the following, the Bucs have been the Saints’ female dog in recent years. And the Saints love to bark how the Bucs are their little brother (to be polite) and that the Saints are in the Bucs’ heads.
So in an effort to stop a five-game losing streak to New Orleans, with the winner going to the NFC Championship game, Arians’ said today in a Zoom conference call what his message is to his team.
“Do your job,” Arian said. “You are good enough.”
As far as the chatter seeping out of New Orleans about the Bucs, Arians said, “Nothing happens on Wednesday.”
The action comes on Sunday, Arians noted.
Is Joe the only person starting to get a “Shut down the Vet” vibe?

We need a xavier howard, xavier rhodes, a veteran db. Cd3 would be an excellent #2 corner. Smb plays like hes terrified of getting beat vertically. The Td he gave up he was playind to defend vertically and the corner ran an out to the corner. Smb the effind boundary is 3 yards behind you they ain’t going there, I’d of been happier if he gaurded inside and gave that up outside rather than him being beat cause he was gaurding the area where a catch will almost surely be ob. Dean in the other hand watches the qb more than his reciever. Deans upside is sometimes he can jump a route. Smb’s is that he has good hands on the the rare occasion he’s near the football.

Bowles wasn’t at meeting, he was in Atlanta or was it Detriot or was it Philly? Doesn’t matter he’s not here. Why does a coach tell his team you are good enough unless he thinks the opposite? Of course they’re good enough they didn’t get in PO’s by mistake. Cleveland took down Pitt, Indy should of taken down Bill’s (bad coaching ) and Balt beat Tenn after two previous losses. Listen to Brady, Gronk, JPP, Suh & AB, they are as good as it.gets at.their positions and have been there before. NO is know for choking in this game.

Just like last week, just like every week, I will keep saying it before every game, it is all about the trenches.
The Bucs O-line has been playing lights out since the Saints debacle weeks ago and the offense has been humming.
The D line has been good all year but the pass rush is inconsistent.
If they get quick, consistent pressure on breeze, they will win.

I have been feeling that vibe all week. I am cautiously optimistic that we are “due” to whip the Aints. Maybe it is the baseball fan in me but the GOAT can’t get beat three times in a row. I respect Brees, but I HATE the Saints. Please please…send Drew to the golf course a loser! Our D has to show up and show out. I can’t stand to lose to them again. To beat Brees for a trip to the NFC championship would feel a lot like that glorious day in Philly.

How about the Bree’s in your face QB sneakTD last week only to get reversed, that was beautiful. Kamara is a garbage time stat player, knock his diamond plated teeth out. If Hill goes in a QB, play him as a run and play cover 1. DO NOT let the trash talk on and off the field affect emotions. Their trash talk tactics are a sign of weakness, apparently they didn’t believe they could beat the Bears fairly. Kick their arses!!!! They’re not that good but Bucs are. Hottest team last 6 weeks.

Our secondary needs to be lights out on Thomas.. we are going to score on offense the football team d got picked apart which is a little bit better the the saints our offense clicking how it should now…..so our only problem is how we lock down brees weapons we can’t give 30 yard plays to them evem though the saints do have a habbit of poopin in the playoffs

Been a Brady fan for a long time.
He needs a strong offensive line. He stays mostly in the pocket.
Give him his protection and he will hit.
Not crazy about the Antonio Brown show. Some favoritism there.
Even over Gronk. Use Gronk more. Take Evans in and out if he’s hurt.
Defense has to play like their life depends on it.
It’s a 50/50 shot that they can win.
Brees is good. Let’s have some fun !

I’m going with history. Since 2009 Super Bowl win for the Saints, they have appeared in the playoffs 6 times, and have loss in the Divisonal or NFC Championship game. Five times they have lost in the Divisional games and once in the NFC Championship games. I’m hoping the vudu or jinx continues against the Bucs. GO BUCS!

If Carcus Rattimore owns Mike. Jam Jordan owns Donovan. Talcum Jenkins owns Tom and Gronk. Whack Rabbits own all the other WRs. Demario running threw Shady on pass pro. Roach off the bench pushing the pocket on top of Tom. #91 getting pressure of the bench. Not to mention lil C.J getting punched in the mouth flipping his flap. We might be in for a long stressful night. I didn’t even talk about how Drew Brees slice and dice Todd Bowles def play calls or how Sean Peyton grouping have us gassed by the second half. So in reality we need to go in there and do like the Browns and Rams did. WE GOTTA GO BEAT UP OUR BIG BROTHER!
