“You Could Feel This Was A Playoff Practice Week, Even With The Holidays.”

December 26th, 2020

Sloppy and undisciplined does not cut it in January and February.

So Joe was exceptionally pleased to hear today’s postgame commentary from Bucco Bruce Arians.

Yeah, the Bucs mauled a crappy Lions team that lost its starting quarterback in the first quarter. It was super fun and nice, but why it happened perhaps goes back to Tuesday.

Arians said it was a special week of practice, despite the Saturday game and the Friday visit from Santa.

“You could feel this was a playoff practice week, even with the holidays,” Arians said.

The key for Joe was Arians was not asked about the holidays or the week of practice. He was just sharing the vibe he witnessed. Arians has a Super Bowl ring (Steelers) and has been to the postseason multiple times as a head coach. He knows what it’s supposed to look like — it’s the reason he was hired — and Joe’s damn glad Arians saw it.

Will players build on this week’s approach demeanor and fast start? That’s the challenge.

The Bucs have been on the other side of the score too many times. I loved it!

    On to atlanta

They are a good team that cant finish
Get the 5 seed and kick the tale off nfc east team

  3. Tbbucs3 Says:

The 2014 Bucs would’ve blown out this Lions team.

Try living in the moment, instead of bit*hing.

Or do you like speculating about next years draft pick by Haloween…

The playoffs secured, stats now matter for a guy who has been a team player and a class act.

    Get Evans the record.

beat atlanta, get the 5th seed, win your wildcard game, that will be 5 straight, get mike his record, this teams confidence will be thru the damn roof, then anything is possible

Downplaying a win cause its not jameis
    😂

Your poster name is in honor of him. We all know
    Take a hike man
You think this team would be here with jameis?
He is not even tbsaints 2 in new orleans

  9. DBS Says:

That’s exactly his problem. It’s not Jameis. But he will never admit it.

Tbbucs 3. Dude, get a room at the closest Motel 6, bring your picture of Jay Miss with you and lots of lube. Enjoy yourself.

Be careful Bucs. Atlanta is not Detroit nor is Raheem Morris. Is Julio Jones playing? Bring your A game, and make sure Methusaleh12 brings his.

Yes the loins team is not the best but a win is a win. I’ll take it especially in the way we did it but I will say succop didn’t show up today in a dome with climate control. Hopefully it was just a fluke for him but geez 2 missed extra points and a missed field goal. Can’t have that in the playoffs

As the old guy here may I start my own “me too” “old people matter” group.
Let me say at the outset that I do not compare the ravages of “ageism” to “sexism” and certainly nowhere near the horrors of racism…but ageism is real.

Now TB12 makes a horrible example because he’s wealthy and incredibly successful. But if nothing else it’s starting to get boring hearing about his “age’.
Patrick Mahomes was a kid when he broke out but nobody constantly referred to him as kid or rookie.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that TB12 just had a remarkable season…not because it was remarkable for a man of his age…it was REMARKABLE period!!!

He may have one or two or three whatever left in him. As long as he plays at this level why should he quit if he doesn’t want to? Because the first time he tosses int’s as we saw early in the year people will say his arm is shot?

Did Brady’s arm look shot to you yesterday? He playing very well. Probably 4th best QB in the QB conference which is why he’s not Pro Bowl.

Just know that Tom Brady has won me over even though he’s not a guy I’d enjoy having a beer with. I do RESPECT him. And I can confess as I try to make a really solid effort this year to improve my tennis game even though I’m freaking 73…watching a man just 30 years younger!!! than me…LMAO…perform like this in the NFL makes me BELIEVE…I can improve at tennis!

    Celebrate the dude. Be inspired.
