Overmatched!

November 15th, 2020

No words needed here.

Mike Evans’ touchdown grab was a thing of beauty in his 100th career game. Joe savors the mad skills of the greatest Bucs receiver in history.

Another gem from the JoeBucsFan photo crew.

Looks like the catches from training camp.

  3. Buc50 Says:

Should be on “Mossed” next week

  4. Memphis Buc fan Says:

    Sky high.

  5. TampaTown Says:

What a great picture! That vertical leap! Mike was smiling and laughing with Tom Brady on the sidelines today which is cool because he’s normally so stoic.

  6. Show Me the TDs Says:

Nobody’s going to meet him up there!

  7. DoooshLaRue Says:

    JayMiss is QB right now!
Oh man……. the 49ers just got a gift!!!!

I wonder what ndog is doing right now.

  8. Miller5252 Says:

Should be seeing that a lot more often in the field. You could see it today how they’re not on the same page yet. He needs his 200 yard game here soon. Maybe next week on the rams again.

  9. Sheen Says:

Great photo….up next another prime time game…. hopefully the guys are ready this time

  10. ModHairKen Says:

I like Mike. And you know what, I bet he was just as happy about the block that sprung 14 as he was about poking this guy on the eye with his kneecap. Awesome photo.

    …………

Ew I don’t want to think about that!!!

  14. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

It seems with AB on the field, Scotty Miller has been relegated to the team manager. Get those towels and jocks washed Scotty.

  15. Roy T. Buford Says:

A great grab indeed by the Mike Evans. Bucs gotta do four good quarters to be fine. The playoff picture got a real shakeup. Hail Mary in ARI puts the Cards at the top of the NFC West, and the LAR win over SEA drops seattle below the Bucs, who are in the first wild Card spot for now. Gotta keep winning. Saving grace COULD be the Bucs have no outdoor cold weather games, while the Saints have to play in PHI and DEN, and both play KC at home. Could be interesting. Saints lost four good starters today–for how long, who knows. Winston went in and was Winson! LOL.

  16. Roy T. Buford Says:

@Alvin, while I’m no AB fan, it’s good we have seen what Scotty Miller can do. That’s a good thing to have.

  19. DoooshLaRue Says:

    SB😁!

I didn’t realize the game was almost over when I said that…… sorry 49ers….. if only there would have been more time ….

  20. bojim Says:

Evans needs to be a Buc till the end.

  21. Doctor Stroud Says:

The Panthers DB looks helpless. You can’t defend that!

  22. Mike in LOL Says:

What a leap!!! Mike is so athletic and just love his fire and competitiveness.

  23. Al121976 Says:

Jughead, it was a fake punt attempt, he was on special teams.

  24. Cainishere Says:

Good game from the team today! Here is what I saw. I saw Rojo use that physical attack at the point of contact against the Panthers. Great Job Rojo A+.
I saw D. Smith put up a hell of a fight on the line today, Great Job D. Smith A+.
I saw more of the old Gronk, how he got that wide open is beyond me. Great Job Gronk, A+. I saw JPP play super physical today, Great Job JPP, A+.
I saw our Kicker get almost half of our points again, what a great acquisition. Great Job Succup, A+. I saw Wirfs put in a solid days work today yet again, Great Job Wirfs A+. The whole offensive line did a fantastic job protecting Brady A+.
I saw Chris Godwin catching some tough passes in tight coverage, Great Job Chris, A+. I saw Brate catch yet another TD, Great Job to stretch it out there Brate, A+. I saw Mike Evans Catch another tough catch for a TD Great Job Evans as usual, A+. I saw the defense give up too much in the first half but stiffen in the second, Gotta give the boys a B+ only because they gave up too much early. Great job adjusting Todd, A+. I saw Antonio Brown catch some nice passes as well and good after the catch. Great Job AB A+. I saw Tom Brady pass laser guided missiles in the short range to midland but when it came to the long passes for some reason he is over throwing them still. He needs to run some drills to gain his accuracy on those. Gave him an A.
As far as BL and Arians the game plan confused the Panthers in the second half, nice adjustments, I gave them a B+ Special Teams? gotta not let the long runs happen anymore, those can cost us games. Because the kicker and punter are so good I gave them an A. I noticed that Brady started using our original offensive weapons effectively. Evans need 80 yeards per game to break Randy Moss’s record. Notice when Evans plays well so does the team. Just like I said in my EMERGENCY POST. Apparently someone was reading. Over all great game against a poor team. GO BUCS!!!!

  25. Jim Says:

A great catch and Mike was terrific today, but I also recall the catch by Cameron Brate on the right sideline, with two defenders on him, stretching for the 1st down…

    @ Doctor Stroud:

the name of that play on the playsheet and pictured above is called:

    “balls to the chin”

    🙂

  28. adam from ny Says:

if jeremy chinn was defending the play it woulda been perfect 🙂

  29. SOEbuc Says:

Thanks for bringing so much excitement to this losing franchise while being so humble and professional. You da man Mike.

  30. Jmarkbuc Says:

  31. Iamabuc Says:

Take a good look. Our very own “Optimus Prime”!!!!….Go BUCS!!!

  32. Cainishere Says:

If you do not like my posts Jmark do not read them

  33. Ed Says:

I’ve been hard on Mike because he lacks the quickness in traffic to get open fast but he more than makes up for it in jump ball and tiptoe sideline catches,

Brown and Godwin are more consistent catching it in traffics however maybe Mikes injuries have slowed down his speed

  34. Brad Says:

I think AB has ruined the chemistry? What do I think Joe?

  35. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Amazing! The ball is easily 6’ above the defenders’ head.

  36. orlbucfan Says:

And ME13 is buddys with and mentoring Ungodly CG14. Can you imagine what it will be like when that pair are 100%? No wonder Methuselah came here.

  37. Bosch Says:

Evans kept the ball from hitting the crossbar.

  38. Cannon Says:

Big Mike looks like he’s doing some maintenance work on the cross bar in that photo…

  39. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Cain

Yeah… trust me I never make it through one, try as I might.

  40. Pickgrin Says:

    Sweet picture.

Thats like 3 feet of vertical air Big Mike has under him. Wow! Impressive.

Talk about a pass thats impossible to defend…..

  41. The Coroner Says:

No wonder Johnny Football won the Heisman .
