Not Since 2011

November 8th, 2020

If you think what you saw from Tom Brady tonight was shockingly ugly, the history books say you’re right on the money.

When’s the last time Brady threw three interceptions in a regular-season game? That was September of 2011, when Brady tossed four picks against the Buffalo Bills.

It also was the Brady’s 3rd lowest passer rating of all-time, if you’re into that goofy stat.

The crazy thing about what Bucs fans painfully witnessed is that there really was no logical reason for it.

How did the Bucs offense get so out of rhythm? Why was there no running game? Why wasn’t the super braintrust of Brady, Byron Leftwich, Tom Moore and Bucco Bruce Arians able to find anything tonight? Anything?

Joe knows Brady and the Bucs aren’t as bad as the 38-3 whooping they took on Sunday Night Football, but damn, something is wrong. It’s Week 9, not Week 1 or 3.

Tom Brady doesn’t do this.

This a prime example why BA never has won a SB as a head coach. Team was outplayed and outcoached.

  2. Dapostman Says:

The 3rd one is a bogus stat interception.

  3. bucfanforever Says:

    Past Brady’s TB12-mandated bedtime?

Jameis Winston was in the stadium?

    The curse of AB?

  4. DavidBigBucFan99 Says:

They got out coached and out played by a 1-7 team. What made anybody think they wouldn’t be out coached and out played by the Aints???

  5. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    When we couldn’t score from the 1 with 4 downs…..something ain’t right…

Playcalling was terrible….Oline was awful…..receivers didn’t get open & Brady was out of sync all night.

  6. Pewter Power Says:

So glad Arians putting his super bowl aspirations in the hands of Byron leftwich because it has worked out so well let’s just keep banging our head against that wall. If Arians won’t call plays he is useless with Tom Brady here

  7. Jerry Says:

Talent isn’t the problem. So this isn’t a roster issue. This is a coaching problem. 2nd game in a row this team came out not ready to play. And the playcalling is atrociously bad. Leftwich is getting worse.

  8. snookman Says:

i said this on Saturday Night, i was anonymous.

Tampa is better and we should all be happy with how they are playing……….but..

they are not going anywhere. They will make the playoffs with a 9-7 or 10-6 record. They will maybe win a playoff game depending on the coach they go up against.

The saints are a better coached team. Tonight proved my point and all of you chastised me………………

Be proud of the bucs they are on the right track…………….but they ain winning anyting this year.

  9. Tackleblockwin Says:

Plain and simple Brady looked scared tonight. He did not believe we had a chance.

  10. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    THE CURSE OF AB

  11. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    Fire someone’s ass

  12. Snook Says:

Can we sign another WR? Maybe that’s the problem.

  13. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    It’s one thing to lose

    BUT THIS????????

What we saw tonight spells the end of playoffs hopes for this team

SOMETHING IS INTERNALLY WRONG IN THE INSIDE OF THIS TEAM…..

something is wrong……….this is more than a loss

what we saw tonight was a cry from someone in need of desperate help…..

  14. Gainesvillebuc Says:

I read somewhere Brady dropped off last year around this time. Hope it’s not true. He’s been awfully high on a lot of passes the last two weeks, but also hasn’t had the cleanest pocket

  15. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Think of it bucs fans…………the offense scored ZERO POINTS………..the were shut out except for a sympathy special teams FG…..

    PATHETIC

  16. TheBucsAnthem Says:

We need a new LT and a new Guard

  17. Frank Pillow Says:

Forcing 4 wide due to AB’s arrival has been a real boon for this O over the last two weeks. Wirfs was shaky tonight with little help and Smith was Smith. Add in a little 73 and you’ve got a skittish old man as a sitting duck all night long as we try and complete passes in BA/Byrons LONG developing route tree.

  18. ModHairKen Says:

It was one bad game, following another bad game, following two really good games. This one was untimely. Bad coaching, bad playing.

    On to next week.

  19. ElioT Says:

We have ZERO DEPTH in the TRENCHES.

    Horrific loss.

    #EXPOSED

    #LICHTMYB*LLS

  20. Kstoges Says:

Utterly disgusted losing is one thing blown out like that F that someone needs to be accountable for this.

  21. John5 Says:

It was clear that Brees was picking on SMB and White in pass coverage. Those guys are open windows. And Donovan smith was a revolving door, who was lucky to only get one holding call.

But the offense? No excuse for that garbage. There wasn’t one thing we did well. O-line collapsed all night, terrible play calling with no run game, terrible passes and badly run routes, dropped passes… you name it. We just completely choked.

  22. ElioT Says:

…and the moral issue of signing AB might have manifested some seriously crappy karma.

The entire franchise should be ashamed.

  23. adam from ny Says:

maybe AB totally destroyed the flow of the team…

maybe the players are all secretly furious of this signing and furious with tom gravy too…

    otherwise i’m speachless

  24. Rod Munch Says:

When your defense is terrible and can’t stop anyone and you’re forced to throw – guess what happens? Turnovers as you’re forced to throw to try to stay in the game. Except you generally expect to put up like 30 points when you only run 5 times.

Brady stunk, but who was worse? The defense. This was Jameis years bad defense level.

Another garbage game, to me this is two in a row now – and next week is @Carolina, where the most boring games of all time always take place. Lets hope Brady didn’t suddenly get old and comes out angry and puts on a show.

But to those who argued with me this week that this defense isn’t great, and isn’t even good – now what do you have to say?

  25. Coburn Says:

That drive with 3 straight sacks (one nullifeed by holding) said it all… He was constantly being hounded and rare to see it, but he was absolutely rattled out there

  26. Coburn Says:

Maybe our oline isn’t so good aftwr all? Both times we faced then this has happened. Without digging too much have all the other teams we played had crappy pass rushes other than the bears? Seems all those clean jersey games maybe just teams that sucks at rushing the passer

  27. August 1976 Buc Says:

The Saints Defensive line is the problem. Clean Jersey and the Brady does well, dirty jersey and it is not pretty. Drew had a Clean jersey and they win handily. Bucs. GO BUCS !!!!!

  28. Bosch Says:

Brady’ performance was directly attributed to the online. It’s that simple. He performs when protected. CUT. DS 96!!

  29. Natron Says:

The Den of Depression lives on and Joe Biden is our new president!

  30. Bosch Says:

I hear Natron. But the deepest despair precedes the greatest hope. Let’s see how it all works out. On both fronts.

  31. ©MadMax Says:

priorities in my life fall under 2 conclusions of results, #1 I can control, responsibilities….the other is entertainment, which is sometimes uncontrollable…. I already said bye to college ball and the other sports who hate AMERICA….saying bye to the nfl was the last draw i didnt want to take, but so be it….i have my bike, many miles open for me, a lil money, a lil home to return to….i let go of college football last year …so I’ll let go of this too…Peace out and good health to all the regulars here, except ndog you can go fk yourself you piece of sht

  32. Big Stinky Says:

Might lose the next 3 as well

  33. Sheen Says:

The year we won the SB we lost twice to the Saints…..so there’s that!

  34. Joey M Lacey Says:

Our oline is trash coaching is terrible our defense overrated. We should hv traded for oline help. Lets be real brady cant do shit at his age with a bad oline. Top ten defense my but BA nds to retire. He cant coach. Peyton and Allen put the saints in position to win. Point blank u can blame whoever u want but bottom line bucs nd an oline def coaching and head coaching. If not we may finish 8-8. If i were brady i would retire after this season. Bucs gonna hurt his legacy

  35. Bucsfanman Says:

After the 4th consecutive 3-and-out, I KNEW something was wrong. What makes it worse, if that’s possible, is this was a HOME game!
The offense is a head-shaker to me. There’s NO reason for it.
Defense? A HOF QB showed our inexperienced, young secondary the ropes…over and over…and over again.
    Bad. Just bad!

  36. JustBucNwin Says:

Leftwich is a terrible, terrible play caller! The defense was exposed by a superior playcaller!

  37. 43IsOnlyOldInHumanYears Says:

I said it once and I’ll say it again. We are not a team, we are a collection of talent. What we did this year is akin to what the Washington Football Team (Redskins) have done over the years. Collect talent often aging, passed their prime or salvaged from some other reclamation project and hope to win.
