Mike Evans Has Heart

November 23rd, 2020

Effort.

You know, the NFL combine measures and times just about everything on a football prospect’s body but his tool (to the best of Joe’s knowledge).

But there is one thing you cannot measure with a man. And that is his heart. Monday night demonstrated there likely isn’t a guy on the Bucs’ roster who wants to win more than stud wide receiver Mike Evans.

And this time there is a measurement. It’s called “video.”

Early in the second quarter, the Bucs had the ball on the Rams-9. Tom Brady went back to pass and hit Evans just inside the Rams-8 on the right side. Evans was quickly hit by two Rams defenders.

It didn’t matter.

Evans fought and clawed and scratch and used that basketball body of his to lean and fight through the two would-be tacklers for a touchdown.

That was one of the greatest efforts Joe has seen in a while. Truly, truly impressive. Inspirational.

If anyone has a bigger heart than Evans on the Bucs, point him out. Joe wants to see that guy.

Cut A.B. focus on Evans and Godwin.

That play should be front in center when Hall voting opens in a dozen years.

no the loss is on the noodle arm washed up goat 1 – 9 on deep balls.

all nfl dynasty’s were built with over 40 washed up qb’s and senile over 60 head coaches coaches. surprised it’s not working for bucs.

I’ll give BA one positive, he can run a line of BS with any politician on either side….

    Trade Mike!
That’s the word from some of the IDIOTS on this blog!

  5. WiscoJoe Says:

Mike Evans deserves better than this abysmal franchise… but then again we all do.

  6. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Remarkable……a Buc highlight for the ages….

  7. Coburn Says:

Hah as soon as he got slammed and they started yapping over him I thought… Ok we got an angry Mike now..nthis should be good. Pass it to him again

  8. Will Says:

Mike is probably like dang I thought we got rid of Jameis. Brady is struggling with the deep ball but hey lets just keep making him throw it deep. Smh
The short game was working but BL gets impatient and wants the deep shot. Brady has 6 Super Bowl rings with a dink and dunk system but they wanna force the deep ball.
BL the fans can see that Brady isn’t throwing the deep ball well but obviously you’re not seeing it.

    49 yards & 1TD…. Stop

  10. Bojim Says:

    Stop forcing it to AB.

I’ll point two players out that have heart Joe…these two continue to play at an insanely selfless and very high level at least equal to that of 13— #s 14 and 90.

14 might just be the single most impressive FOOTBALL PLAYER drafted by this organization. He does everything right.

90 is the best player on our D. It’s not even close. He’s the most positively impactful FA signing since Simeon Rice and Hardy Nickerson.

31 and 78 are also proving to be special players in their own right…they still need some fine tuning, but 31 isn’t lost out there (unlike 23 and 35) and what 78 is putting on film is damn impressive.

  12. Bojim Says:

    Feel really bad for Mike.

  13. unbelievable Says:

    Mike Evans deserves better.

    Chris Godwin deserves better.

    JPP deserves better.

    Us fans deserve better.

Arians and Brady are washed up and Leftwich is out of his element. They literally can’t beat a decent defense.

  14. Señor Harry in Costa Rica Says:

THAT was an awesome play; ALL heart as you said Joe. I think I would also put JPP in that category. They all deserve better than this crap

  15. FairMinded Says:

Not bigger but Godwin is JUST as beastly. Key on those two guys and Brate and let every one else fall in as needed. Those guys are GEMS

  16. James F Nasta Says:

Stop forcing every other play. Try getting into a rhythm. Your playing like the team has a nervous disorder.
