Marriage Made In Tampa

November 8th, 2020

“You see Tom, I told you I’d make you feel young again.”

Bucs quarterback Tom Brady downs so many records it is hard to count.

But the park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting quarterback is doing something this year that, while not a new record, is almost mind-blowing to consider.

Clark Judge of SI.com has the details. on how Brady is on pace to have his best year at quarterback in over a decade, including being on pace to throw his most touchdown passes since leading the league in 2007 with 50.

Brady is also on pace to have one of the lowest interception rates of his career; he’s looking at eight picks if the second half of the season mirrors the first. Brady has only thrown less than eight picks three times in his 20-year career when playing in 12 or more games.

In addition, Brady is not fumbling the ball….the only fumble he has been credited with was on a handoff the was at least partly on the RB….

  2. Casual Observer Says:

Not a bad pickup for the Bucs.

    Take that haters!

    **The franchise-changing, record-setting, ring-collecting, greatest-of-all-time quarterback.

It appears as if not all all quarterbacks throw 20-30 interceptions in the first year of Arian’s system. Feels great to have the greatest at the helm for us!

Not sure about anyone else but I end up skipping halfway through the article when it starts with all the nonsense adjectives…

  6. Sport Says:

For those of us who believed, this result was expected. We also understood interceptions and decision making were killing this team.

BA traded out a 3rd stringer wanting $30 mil a year with the dreaded potential, for the best QB of all time for $25 mil a year.

Let’s see what we’ve been able to pick up with that extra $5 mil

    Fournette
    AB
    Shady
    Mclendon

    Need I say more?

    In BA I Trust!

Please joe- can we get America’s QB back? NOT

  8. JimmyJack Says:

Something thats not being talked about no more is how it take soooo many games to master Bruces offense and how INTs are just part of the learning curve and to be expected. Tom Brady has taken 5hat narritive and spit it back in all our faces.

I will admitt I bought into it last year. I guess many of us were just looking for some reason or excuse to expect better. Thats just what fans do I guess. We are now seeing that greatness does not get denyed.

Here’s for Jameis. Please watch the film of every Bucs game this year. All angles. What is Brady doing with the same players that you did not?

You’re going to get another chance to start. It may not be for a few years. But the opportunity will come. How will you be different? Will you leave all of the silliness of eating Ws and the need to be everybody’s cool friend behind?

Your problems were not physical. You broke more sacks up than any other QB in Tampa. Your arm strength was second only to Doug Williams.

So, looks at what TB is doing and steal it. Every bit of it. The prep work, the conditioning, the manner in which he approaches teammates.

Your potential is unreached, Jameis. Do not waste it.

  13. Buc1987 Says:

    Jimmy…it’s why he’s the GOAT!

  14. DI Says:

Best opening line to a post in JoeBucsFan history. Hands down.

  15. Robert Says:

As much as I like the admiration of all phases of the game….. I hope they don’t get soft. The reason we look so good is due to the leads and the d being able to T off and it helps the run game. In adogfight ….. not so much.

Oh and I told You so about Brady and getting AB and Brady making the O line look good! Fourtnette though…. man that was huge!

  16. Architek Says:

I’m glad the trolls are blocked or under a bridge somewhere sulking!

I’m grateful for every snap we get to witness with a GOAT at QB!

  17. Bucsfanman Says:

Architek- They’ll show after a loss.
We’re finally privy to what real QB play is supposed to look like and we STILL have yet to see the best! That’s what I can’t believe.

  18. David Says:

    Bucsfan

    JOE!!! Stop it!

Yes. Whenever Joe has a paragraph to introduce Brady and a paragraph or two to introduce Peter King, I just skip down, probably missing stuff to do with the article. I understand it was a running joke for a while but it has gotten very old

  19. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    NFL showing Marpet is Out

  20. 407buc Says:

I dont know why Joe has to do the long monikers especially for Peter King and Brady. It’s not funny and gets annoying to read in each post. Joe probably cracks himself off but nobody else is laughing. Stick with calling brady the GOAT and leave it.

  21. Couch Fan Says:

Seattle lost. That makes this game tonight even bigger. A win puts us in the #1 seed spot. LETS GO BUCS!!!

  22. No Risk It No Biscuit Says:

Bucsfan and David…… That makes 3 of us!

He has no faith in is writing to obtain his 30 comments desire per article without instigating his followers and disrespecting NFL players to trigger the followers. It’s somewhat childish but other than that I look forward to the information given. Its their business and I’m grateful for everything else.

The name is not true. They make that too obvious. Its just their job.

  23. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Chicago also lost as did SF……road to the playoffs is getting easier…..but we have to take care of business tonight…..

  24. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Seattle has absolutely no secondary. Josh Allen shredded them. My Washington nephews told me the Bills averaged 9 yards per play in the 1st half.

  25. ruggyup Says:

Please tell me and the world about the defensive genius Joe extolled about shutting down the Saints!! Same request for the OC and HC. Even for the Den of Depression this Saints non-contest is revolting.

  26. Oneilbuc Says:

I thought Jamies was the problem I told yall . Brady looks bad against good defenses
