Jamel Dean, Donovan Smith Still Not Practicing

November 26th, 2020

It appears Donovan Smith’s boot did not come off his injured ankle today.

Smith did not practice with the ailing ankle, and Bucco Bruce Arians updated his shaky status for Sunday’s game last night.

Also not practicing today was starting cornerback Jamel Dean. He remains in concussion protocol and Russ Cockrell fans might have their day against the Chiefs on Sunday. Center A.Q. Shipley remains sidelined, and last night Joe shared that Shipley’s football career likely is done with a neck injury.

Otherwise, the Bucs are in good shape on the injury front. Ali Marpet has been “full participation” for two consecutive days. Hopefully that means his concussion aftereffects are finished and he can return Sunday. Marpet has missed the last three games.

No Chiefs players missed practice today.

    Great news about Donovan.
    I hope he’s done as a Buc.
Let someone else have his sorry azz.

  2. David Smythe Says:

    Doosh,

Your name is perfect for you!!

  3. RICHARD weeks Says:

    Doosh, that’s a little harsh..

  4. Jmarkbuc Says:

It might be best if Dean stayed on the bench for a week or two

  5. DoooshLaRue Says:

    I chose it dumbazz.
So yeah, it speaks of my own self awareness.

    It’s 3 Os BTW

  6. Of course Says:

Lmao it’s painfully obvious that practice doesn’t help Donavan Smith anyway lol

Oh but “he plays every game” Yada yada.

    TURNSTILE SMITH

  7. TSmitty3000 Says:

Don’t rush it Marpet. If you need another week, so be it. Happy Turkey Day everyone

  8. Mike Johnson Says:

Maybeee if we had a mobile QB instead of a Statue of Liberty……..?

  9. SOEbuc Says:

$40 million for the sh!tty OT that never missed a snaped. I believe he got hurt right after that.

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Mike

Nah… tried that for the last 5 years

  11. Joe in Michigan Says:

Mike Johnson: We were 4-7 last year at this point, not 7-4 like this year. Be thankful for what you have, and don’t b!tch about what you don’t have.

  12. DoooshLaRue Says:

Poor technique and total lack of fire.
If there is a more worthless top dollar LT in the league I’d hate to see him.

  13. Sumosam Says:

I never saw such a sad group of fans in my life. It’s not easy going up against the best players in football every week. Donovan has been a serviceable piece of this team.
Yes he’s had some bad games but don’t they all? I’d like to see some of you clowns try to block these maniacs. These guys risk life and limb to play a sport we love and there is no appreciation. Get a life before you open your mouth.

  14. SOEbuc Says:

Sumosam…Are you serious? I’m as big a true Bucs fan as anyone and this guy probably hurt his leg getting run around and run through all day. Maybe a strain from when he jumped.

  15. Mike Johnson Says:

Maybe if our Qb was not an easy..stationary target….?
Watch MaHommes run and fire..with ease…..

  16. Buc1987 Says:

Mike Johnson…the league is not filled with Mahomes is it? You make it seem as if mobile QB’s are everywhere to be had and every team can get a Mahomes. Get a brain for once in your life. Ask for one for Christmas if you like.

YOUR team has the GOAT on it’s team and you still WHINE. SHUT UP!

    David Smythe…Doosh is right pumpkin.

  17. Buc1987 Says:

Give MIKE JOHNSON….Greg Schiano and Mike Glennon back. 4-12 anyone?

Apparently he’s not happy with the friggin’ GOAT!!!

    4-12 anyone?

  18. Of course Says:

It’s not that D Smith isn’t serviceable it’s how much he gets paid.
He doesn’t get paid top dollar to just be serviceable.

He gets paid to be elite.

  19. TjBoston17 Says:

WOW! I NOW KNOW WHY TAMPA HASN’T HAD ANY SUCCESS SINCE GRUDEN!! BECAUSE 1ST -THE MOST WHINY ARSE FANS WHO ARE TRULY PATHETIC!! THERE IS NO WAY POSSIBLE ANY REAL FAN OF THE GAME WOULD EASILY SEE THAT BRUCE IS A PATHETIC COACH! 2 OF THE LAST 3 GAMES SHOWS HOW BADLY COACHED/PREPARED BRUCE WAS!! TOM IS BY FAR THE BEST TO HAVE EVER PLAYED THE GAME OF THE NFL.SO SECOND SAINTS GAME BRUCE DISPLAYED HOW HORRIBLE OF A COACH HE IS!! RUNNING THE BALL 4 TIMES!!??THEN FACED CAROLINA AND ACTUALLY PLAYED A WELL BALANCED ATTACK WITH TOM UNDER THE CENTER AND ACTUALLY RUNNING THE BALL WHICH THEN SETS UP THE PLAY ACTION AND THEN TAKING SHOTS AT THE LONG BALL!! ANY DIE HARD FAN KNOWS YOUR PUTTING A JUNK GAME PLAN TOGETHER NOT ONLY OFFENSIVELY BUT DEFENSIVELY !! AND YOU ALLOWED YOUR DEFENSE TO GET ABUSED FOR THE WHOLE FIRST HALF WITHOUT MAKING ANY IOTA OF ADJUSTMENT & ICING ON CAKE IS ALLOWING THE RAMS WITH JUST 35 SECONDS LEFT IN THE 1ST HALF TO BASICALLY JUST WALK THE FOOTBALL IN FIELD GOAL RANGE! ANY HALF DECENT COACH WOULD’VE REALIZED THEIR OFFENSIVE STRATEGY WAY B4 THE HALFTIME!!!

  20. Bandwagon fan Says:

A QB that can run is a luxury in this nfl. Not saying you can’t play with a non-mobile QB, but he can’t get the team a first down when receivers are covered and there is space to run. And a QB that’s in the pocket will probably play more years with less injuries And his name is TOM BRADY.
