Gholston On COVID List

November 4th, 2020

Isolation.

Bucs defensive lineman Will Gholston was placed on the COVID-19 list, the Bucs reported this afternoon.

Gholston took to Twitter to announce this.

He later stated on Twitter he has placed himself in self-isolation. He added he has yet to test positive for The Sickness.

Gholston stated at this time he fully expects to play Sunday night against the slimy Saints. That’s important. His role has increased lately, with Gholston playing 61 percent of the snaps against the Giants and a season-high 69 percent against Las Vegas.

Joe is crossing his fingers. 🤞

Good move. Safety and team first. He’s a vet. He’ll be ready for Sunday.

Hope he remains negative. We’ll really need him Sunday night!

Gholston is an unsung hero for the organization, not quite as accomplished and celebrated as Shelton Quarles but he’s quietly putting together a memorable career in Tampa that’s not flashy but should be a fan favorite and deserve to be recognized for his workman-like career.

I can’t think of one player that’s done whatever it took to win, including sacrificing and fluctuating his weight to help (even those sorry Lovie and Mike Smith defenses)!

He deserves this season and more!

Will Gholston is an absolute monster…….give him a few days rest and I suspect he’ll be super-human.
