Bruce Arians: “Wow, We’re Back”

Troy Aikman and Joe Buck wagged a finger of shame at Sunday’s traditional military flyover at the Den of Depression, but it was a very different situation down on the field.
Bucco Bruce Arians hopped on national radio yesterday and was asked about playing before a significant crowd against the Packers, at least significant during the pandemic era.
Officially, the crowd was 15,540 in the house, with plenty of Cheeseheads, noted Arians.
Arians said the flyover triggered a response and a vibe on the sidelines that resonated. “We looked at each other and said, ‘Wow, we’re back.’ Arians added that fans could be heard and it was a pleasure to have them and turn off the fake noise.
Ironically, the Bucs came out flat as a pancake against the Packers before reviving in historic fashion to crush Green Bay 38-10. So Joe can’t give any credit to the flyover for the “W.”
Joe feels badly for the many fans, especially kids, aching to attend a game but can’t score tickets the can afford on the bloated secondary market. If you want to go to a game, stop emailing Joe!! Call the Bucs. Call the Mayor. That’s the proper way to get your voice heard.
Hopefully, the powers find a way to fit in more fans.

Aikman and Buck look very foolish with that criticism. Pilots have to log flight time and the flyover is good practice for them to be at the right place at an exact moment (i.e. “And the home of the braaaaaaaaave.”). In a way, they are using flyovers as training for bombing runs. They’re going to be in that cockpit anyway so it’s no extra cost.
The only thing Aikman was correct about with his statement is that Democrats typically cut military spending.

I am a moderate that has voted for Romney and McCain and 4 years ago voted for Gary Johnson – the Libertarian. 4 years ago voted for Kasich in the Republican primary. I will vote for Biden.
Troy Aikman is a Republican as well. He contributed sums as large as $20,000 during the 2012 election. Troy is not just a Republican voter, he’s a financial supporter of the Republican party as well.

Trump claimed in October 2017 he would eliminate the federal debt over eight years, even though it was $19 trillion at the time. At the end of 2019 it was over 23 trillion and that is with a Republican senate. Shame on not only the Democrats but the Republican president and the Republican Senate.
But yes the stock market and businesses are doing better after a corporate tax cut from 36 percent to 21 percent. That is good for businesses.

Howard you can be republican or democratic and have both liberal and conservative views.
Troy Aikman seems to fit that to me. He is a republican who gave $20,000 to the republican party.
Being a long time Republican, I can tell you that talking about possible Government waste had more legs 25 years ago.
Now you are apparently a communist or a neo-communist if you question whether government is spending correctly because a fly over for a very small crowd at the stadium.
We lost that old Republican party that used to control the deficit and the spending.

Per some online reports, this was an inside “hack job” at Fox aimed at Aikman/Buck for some unknown reason, and being investigated internally at FOX. The mike was not “hot”. The comments were made in jest, and not part of the show and were clipped as part of a larger dialogue, and taken out of context, and then the “clip” was shared.
Regardless, I have always found Troy and J Buck to be unbiased in their game calling, which is what I care about when I am watching a football game. Troy gets nasal sometimes, and I have to lower the volume, but other than that, his analysis of the games is spot on.

Also Joe’s comment about the defense coming out ‘flat as a pancake’ is wide of the mark. Rodgers himself has said how disruptive they were in the first quarter and how hard those 10 points were to come by. Still, obviously Joe knows more about QB play than Aaron Rodgers, eh?

And now it’s come out that the whole story of Aikman and Buck was fake news. They took an audio clip of them joking about a crew member’s comments regarding the flyover, and someone spliced it up with video from later on when the flyover was actually happening.
