Bears Loss Good For Bucs

October 27th, 2020

Yes, Joe is playoff watching and scoreboard watching. Joe may be rusty because it’s been so damn long since Joe has done it.

(When is the last time on the week of Halloween we haven’t been focused on the draft?)

So Joe is worried about tiebreakers. The Bucs, after giving a game away against the Bears two weeks ago, would lose a Wild Card or playoff tiebreaker with the Bears. If both teams had the same final record atop their divisions, the Bucs could have to travel to frigid Chicago for a January game. That’s not good.)

So Joe was all about pulling for the Rams last night. The Bucs still will have to face the Rams and could win to get the tiebreaker edge on them. The Bears, well, we have to hope the Bears have a worse record than the Bucs.

So it was cool to see the Rams hammer Chicago 24-10 on Monday Night Football to hand the Bears their second loss. The Rams are also 5-2.

Every loss for the Bears is a win for the Bucs.

A blown call on Shaq away from 6 straight. Yes Joe it is great to see Da Bears and the Seagulls go down this week. The Bucs are the measuring stick right now in the NFC. Just plain fun to be a Bucs fan in 2020. GO BUCS!!!! NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GOES THROUGH TAMPA THIS YEAR!!!

  4. Csenn Says:

The bucs win the division they won’t need to worry about battling with the bears in Chicago, we all know the packers are winning that division

  5. Tackleblockwin Says:

    Let’s just win the division!

  6. TargetToad Says:

I miss when the Bucs were in the central (BTW, I’ve been a Fins fan since ’06, born in 97, still in Lutz)

Im always focused on that draft baby!!!

If we dont trade the farm for #1 and Trevor (he might not come out anyway, i know some people)….then Im going LT with our late 1st (Jackson Carman-Clemson)…then maybe a TE in the 2nd….we have too much money tied up in the TE position…also a lot in Smith at LT. Those two positions are where we can free up some cash (cut OJ, Gronk, Brate…unless they will restructure to team friendly deals). We also need to be looking at C Jensen….he’s costing a lot too.

    So, where im at…..

    1st – LT
    2nd – TE
    3rd – C

Win the division and forget about tiebreakers.

  9. Defense Rules Says:

MadMax … Our OLine has finally gotten to the point where it’s no longer the weak link; some fans may not like Donovan & feel that Jensen is overpaid, but this line has finally developed some chemistry & they’re all still fairly young.

Our 2 major NEEDS next draft will be QB & DE/OLB. Brady will be 44 next season & it’d be nice to have someone ‘waiting in the wings’ who could learn from him for a year (maybe Rosen is that guy, but not from what we’ve all seen so far). And as far as DE/OLB goes, I’m sure we’ll re-sign Shaq (we’d be dumb not to), but JPP would be in his last contract year and besides that, we have no depth behind them. And if you look at the DLine interior, Suh will be 35 next season & so will McLendon (if either even want to play next year). Bucs are scary thin at a number of positions it seems.

    Blue skies ahead. Go Bucs

I learned a long time ago I learned not to be too concerned with other teams’ W=L…….we have to win our games…..

It’s crazy y’all idk what to do. This time of the year we are looking at who to draft who are going to be good FA pick ups. This changes everything. LOVIN IT. we are 5-2 and it’s almost Halloween. Something spooky is going on and I love it. Let’s go Bucs

  13. Erick Says:

The Bears will be lucky to win 9 games and are fortunate to even have 5 wins. Lions, Falcons, and Bucs all should’ve beaten them

  14. TheBradyBunch Says:

Chicago is the worst 5-2 team I can remember. Doubt they will be in the mix come playoff time.

  15. Chris l Says:

We should all be bears fans this week though

  16. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    I agree with Defense Rules.

    Defensive line over Offensive Line.

I could see not putting all our eggs in Rosen’s basket though.

  17. Allbuccedup Says:

Madmax you forget who is GM. It will more like this: 1st- DB. 2nd- Kicker. 3rd- DB. Thats unless of course Brady says hes doing the draft picks this year.

  18. Scotty in Fat Antonio Says:

Don’t forget we have Rosen in the wings already at QB. I am assuming BA already knows what kind of potential he has. I mean, we did sign him.

  19. 813bucboi Says:

    DR

im surprised BL isnt on your list of needs….lol…

BL is below average according to you….(even though he has the #3ranked offense back to back years with 2 different QBs)….by the way, that screams same playcalls from last year….lol…the difference: NO INTs by the QB….

after all DR, BL is the weakest link in the offense….according to you, any other OC could score on every possession with all these weapons….lol….according to you, we should be averaging 40+ points per game….BA is foolish for allowing BL to guide us the over 30points per game….lol….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

    WHAT’S WRONG WITH EVERYONE?

The NYG beat the Bucs last year in what was the most embarrassing loss of the season. We play them on MNF on there home turf. We should be speaking only of revenge.
