Tom Brady’s F-Bombs

September 17th, 2020

Perfectionist.

Erin Andrews is making the rounds this week. Why? She is part of a rare group.

Andrews, a Tampa native and sideline reporter for FOX Sports, is one of the very few people walking the earth that was allowed somewhat close to the field at the Superdome for the Bucs-Saints season-opener.

Photographers and sideline reporters, because of COVID-19 protocols, can only get so close to the field in the lower bowl of stadium seats. And given that the Superdome didn’t have any fans, Andrews got to hear chatter from the bench areas she would never get to hear previously.

She made an appearance on “The Rich Eisen Show” to talk about this and then she was a guest on the “10 Questions With Kyle Brandt” podcast.

(How quiet was it in the Superdome? Andrews said she had to be careful singing along with the racket piped in from stadium workers, otherwise she might talk over Sean Payton trying to call plays. Also, the crowd noise we heard on TV was not the same in the stadium, she said.)

While it was so quiet, Andrews got to see — and more importantly hear — park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady’s rage after he threw his first pick of the evening last week.

(Andrews is such a fan of Brady, in the podcast video with Brandt, she showed off her Tom Brady prayer candle.)

“After Tom threw the first interception — you know, we have all seen the video of him getting so fired up. Again, it was so silent in there. And you just heard two F-bombs clear as day. And you are like, “Oh, boy.”

Andrews noted that was an example of the many things she heard from the bench area she otherwise may not have standing two or three feet away because of crowd noise.

So yeah, she said, Brady still has the fire in him and incredibly high standards.

“So yeah, she said, Brady still has the fire in him and incredibly high standards.”

Which is why I’d bet money that we won’t see this rare type of performance from TB12 the GOAT this weekend!

    Go Bucs!

  5. Bucsfanman Says:

I hope he saved some of those f-bombs for his OL (looking at D. Smith!) and one or two for Evans for letting that shrimp DB take him out of his game.

That has to be explained to me sometime. He’s got a 4″ advantage, how does Lattimore get ME13 out of his game so easy?!

  6. TheBucsAnthem Says:

I honestly think Brady is shook by Donovan Smith………………….what I mean by that is that he knows that DS is gonna get beat and he knows he gotta get that ball of quicker or else…..

    Donovan Smith just sucks

    Anybody remember Kenyata Walker?????

……he was drafted high and everyone was calling him Penyatta Walker cause he sucked so much……I remember one DE calling him the worst LT in the league……

  7. Adrnagy Says:

First year in Arians offense =30 int.

    Brady =25 int

The sheep better prepare for a lot more “F-bombs” from the old cheating goat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One down and Eight more to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Panthers!!!!!!!!!! errrrrrrrrrr I mean, go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Mitch Says:

Joe did you see the analysis of Frelund on Brady yet over at NFL? She says the hot takes are overblown much like you’ve written. But also she shares that both picks happened when he had less than 2.5 seconds to throw which lead to a 65 passer rating. When he had more than 2.5 seconds his passer rating was almost 102. Here’s to hoping the o-line really steps it up so we can run the ball and give Brady time to be the surgeon he is.

  13. BigHog Says:

Mr. 5000 would never drop F-Bombs like that …that YOU PROPLE MOVEMENT would run him out of town, up the coast and all the way to Nawleans….wait a minute, HENNY AND HOG ..get yo-self some!!! Maybe it is too early in the morning!!!

  14. unbelievable Says:

    Interesting stat Mitch.

I figured the quick release / quick decisions would Have him letting go around 2.2 seconds… but he probably (Hopefully) needs a little more playing time before getting that comfortable.

    Where did my post go?

    realist

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  17. Craig Says:

I think the entire off-season got Brady down. It got to me and I just watch.

Every other year Brady and his entire team are on the same page. They had supreme confidence in each other and were honed into a fine instrument.

This year that didn’t happen. Receivers still don’t know how to react when smacked in the mouth, the O-line doesn’t have all of their dance moves synchronized, and the RBs are still saying hunh.

It will get better. The Bucs played almost well against a top three or four team. Reaction has set in and their ears are burning.

Still expecting an 11-5 season or better. Didn’t really expect a Bucs blowout against the Saints, maybe next time.

It should go in the trashcan you racist P.O.S.

  19. Big Stinky Says:

I feel bad for Brady. Going to probably throw more picks and lose more games than he ever has coming here. I actually thought he would be able to make this offense hum, maybe with time but I’m starting to wonder. How many of the 7 pick 6’s SHAMELESS threw were that same route that got Brady? At least 2 or 3 I bet. Bet it was the first option of that play call too. Get rid of that CRAP already. That route doesn’t work unless the CB is playing off 10 yards. Love how the”Quarterback Tinkerer” blamed Brady on the option route to Evans then said Mike should have kept going the next day. Stop throwing everyone under the bus and look in the mirror Santa. Your offense is trash if you ask me. Who cares how many yards you get when you turn the ball over as much as you do? Why is this team so undisciplined?

  20. orlbucfan Says:

I will be shocked if the old relic Brady doesn’t turn the ball over yet again. And, like seriously, why was Gronkowski dug up out of retirement? Bucs didn’t need him. Who was traded to make room for that hoary old thing? I hope Bucs beat the Panthers for Bowles and the Defense. BA? Snort!

  21. Pick6King Says:

We better start running the ball effectively. These weak passes to the sideline are pick 6’s waiting to happen.

  22. BigHog Says:

SB: Where is the love? HENNY AND HOG…get yo-self some, then turn on some soulful R&B!! SHAKEN but not STIRRED!!!
