Report: Evans Should Be Fine

September 9th, 2020

Update.

It just wouldn’t be summer without stud Bucs receiver Mike Evans having hammy issues.

The man who is on pace to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame got Bucs fans nervous this week when Evans sat out the first two practices in preparation for the slimy Saints on Sunday.

Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians went all-NHL on reporters when he referenced Evans’ injury as “soft tissue.” Nothing like being a little too conspicuous, huh Coach? 🙂

Of course, the injury report came out today — first of the year! — and listed Evans as the only player not practicing due to injury. A hamstring.

This evening, star reporter of NFL Network, Ian Rapoport, brought word that his sources tell him Evans should play against the slimy Saints on Sunday.

“He has told people close to him that he does not believe this is a major injury,” Rapoport said of Evans. “He thinks he will be good to go for Sunday.”

So there you have it. Bucs fans, hopefully, can rest easy at night with the knowledge that Evans thinks he will be fine.

Joe wishes there was a savvy doctor to tip off the Bucs just why Evans has had these chronic hamstring problems. Then again, Joe can live with them the way Evans produces.

I’m sure Evans will do everything he can to be out on the field. He’s a true warrior! I’m sure he doesn’t want to miss a single second with the hall of fame qb

  8. BUC CHEEKS Says:

This meltdown of Ndog is legendary! You’re a MESS 🤣

  9. buc15 Says:

NDOG…bruh…come on bruh….just be excited for once

  10. Colonel Angus Says:

Hasn’t Ndog been crying and quitting Joebucsfan since Jaboo got the boot? At some point you gotta let him go man. Just like the chick from Titanic, just let Jaboo sink in that fridgid Atlantic water. I’m kidding, your my entertainment on this site, keep that torch lit!

  11. Ndog Says:

Football starts tomorrow and for me there is zero excitement, zero nerves, zero shjts given.

    Thanks Bucs, fing aholes.

  12. Sport Says:

Nobody and I mean nobody… trolls anyone better than Brady, BA and the Bucs Sans JW do to Lost Dog and Little Bo Peep!

    I love it!!!!

Wait until we win, it’ll be epic meltdowns!

    In BA I Trust!

  13. Clean House Says:

Hump and BS’s merry band of “sports scientists” are to dumb to pace these guys, have ME13 on a Pitch count.

All of our receivers were out end of last year with the same injury- hamstring

The trainers are not doing their job and these meatheads are too dumb to see the pattern

    Something wrong with the training

  14. Clean House Says:

    Gump not Hump-

Hump is a competent receiver that Gump let get away.

  15. Rayjay1122 Says:

What a tool. Just go away you stooge.

  16. Ndog Says:

Wannnn I have the best coach ever, I have the best defense in the league, I have never played with a kicker that isn’t going to be a finalist for the HOF, I have always played behind a line that was coached by a potential HOF oline coach, I got to play with the greatest TE ever and the 2nd greatest WR, BUT I didn’t have the 3rd greatest WR, a top 10 drafted RB, a first round RT AND the best D in the league all at the same time, so I wanna leave, wannnnnnn!!!!!!!!

Little punk has been the most spoiled QB in the history of professional football and the fact that he has the guts to complain about ANYTHING, is ridiculous.

Yeah what a “winner”. Give me a freaking break.

  17. nick Says:

Ndog sounds like a Jameis Winston burner account. He´s totally nuts and makes no sense at all

  18. Rayjay1122 Says:

Go to the Saints since you are Winston’s ball boy. Tend his balls thete and you whine more than Brady has ever thought of whining.

  19. Tvan101 Says:

All right Joes, Ndog gotta go.

  20. Joe in Michigan Says:

Tom Brady played 20 seasons with New England, and they won 6 Super Bowls. They won the Super Bowl 30% of the time he was there. This has to the dumbest take I’ve ever seen.

  21. Ndog Says:

The Patriots were also 13- 6, once the dynasty was built, without Brady so yeah when the team is great it’s not all that hard to win, especially when you’re playing against the Jets, Bills and Dolphins twice a year. Dump it off to Welker, hand it off to Dillon, throw it short to Gronk who runs everyone over, throw it up to Moss, get the team anywhere inside of the 40 yard line and it’s a automatic 3 points, play conservative as heck cause we know the other team won’t score more than 10 points cause my defense is awesome…..

Yeah really tough, so tough that Cassell, Brissett and Jimmy did it with ease.

  22. Bucsfan951 Says:

Oh look, THE PUPPY has turned a mike Evans story into a JW comment section.

I guess you can say TB lives rent free in the PUPPYS head!!!

THANK GOD THE CANCER IS GONE AND WE CAN FINALLY BREATHE AGAIN!!!

  23. Bucsfan951 Says:

Man, didn’t fitz put up similar numbers as JW back when he started? Funny how these pricks forget

  24. Joe Says:

Hump is a competent receiver that Gump let get away.

It was Arians who didn’t want him. Hard to argue with the result.

  25. Tampabuscsbro Says:

What money were we supposed to pay Hump with?

  26. Bradley Says:

Hook him up with Tom’s trainer

  27. Joe In Michigan Says:

Ndog: Yes, the Patriots were good. They won games with backup QB’s. Did they win any Super Bowls without Brady? He must’ve made some sort of difference, right?

  28. Joe in Michigan Says:

“Not all that hard to win”…Something JW had a hard time with.

  29. Youngbucs Says:

Yup ndog and in the process of all that he didn’t throw it to the other team.

  30. SB Says:

Guys………..don’t feed ndog.He will die eventually.

  31. Joe in Michigan Says:

Ndog: Makes excuses for JW losing
Also Ndog: Makes excuses for Tom Brady winning

  32. SOEbuc Says:

Tom gonna pull a Kucherof with eight seconds left!!!

    GO BUCS!!!

  33. SOEbuc Says:

    ^^GO BOLTS!!!

  34. Ftmyersbuc Says:

Ndog is like a battered wife sticking up for her husband that beats her. He let’s emotions control him and blocks out all rational thought. Emotions reign supreme to such a degree that he will find a way to twist and distort all facts and situations to fit his sole and singular narrative: Jameis Winston was set to fail because he was black, and Tom Brady is a “punk” because he has white privilege. America’s racist see! See! I told you!!! The true racist is always the one who uses skin color as the barometer for all misfortunes, completely absolving any and all personal responsibility in ones misfortunes. To these types of people inequity is inequality. To understand this, is to understand the Ndog. And to understand Ndog is to realize his opinions are void. He needs the boogeyman, do not give him one.

Politics has turned the lofty ideal of equality into the ugly reality of resentments of other people’s achievements — and a feeling that the world owes you something, while you owe nobody anything, not even common decency. –Thomas Sowell

  35. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Got to play it smart, if it’s not 100% don’t play Mike. Hamstrings are tricky and super easy to aggravate while running full speed. Better to lose him for a week than 5 but my fingers are crossed that he’s good to go.

  36. SufferingSince76 Says:

The top troll is nothing more than a pathetic nuisance now. He’s unhappy with the team, so he wants everyone to share the unhappiness. “I” can’t enjoy football now. “I” don’t like BA. “I” know more about football than anyone else. Why won’t you listen to “me”? Sad. Pathetic. Annoyingly repetitive.

  37. Jason Says:

I find it amusing that after Ndog makes a comment there will be 20 comments about him. Ndog may not be able to quit Jameis, but there are some posters here who can’t quit Ndog.

  38. SufferingSince76 Says:

Jason, as long as he’s on this site ragging on the Bucs, we will continue to rag on him. He says he’s not going away. You figure it out.

  39. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

I can start either Evans or Godwin on my fantasy team. NDOG, whaddaya say?

  40. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Well Jason, I’ll admit, seeing NDOG crash and burn is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, since he went with the personal “racist” attacks on me for not being a Winston jock strap. (Kinda like JP Peterson did…but JP eventually apologized and said he was wrong…takes a man to do that.)

  41. 1_Buc Says:

I’ll be honest Evans hamstring issue has me worried. You can’t rush back from that type of injury. I’ll say this I’m fine if the training staff holds him out week1. I rather have him healthy Week – Week 17 rather than having him risk making the hammy worse. It will be fine if he sits week one. Team is loaded enough and also if he plays or doesn’t play no excuses 2020.

  42. Bobby M. Says:

I dont think its an issue with the trainers/medical staff……No other position seems to have any issues with hamstrings. I think with Evans the issue could be proper hydration/stretching outside the Bucs facilities. In Brady’s book, he talks about how in college he had a reoccurring issue with inflammation in his throwing elbow. This is when he began to discover the importance of proper care for the body. He hasn’t had the issue in 15+ years despite throwing thousands of reps. Evans has to figure that out, its some type of genetic issue that requires additional consideration.

  43. Buccfan37 Says:

I think Ndog has always made reasonable comments before and after Winston departing. The attacks on him seem ignorant and why bother.

    Buccfan37 = Ndog’s burner account

  46. Ndog Says:

I don’t invoke race, argue against me that’s fine, I simply ask you don’t lie when doing so.

  48. Sleepy903 Says:

I can tell you why. Its 1 of 3 reasons: Hydration, Strength training, stretching.

I doubt its stretching. Its either Strength Training or Hydration or a combination of the 2. Many elite athletes struggle with hydration. IDK why but hydration is always taken for granted. Elite athletes need much more than gallon of water to hydrate their lean muscle tissue. I would venture to say 2 – 2.5 gallons a day w/ the Tampa heat.

Strength training is tricky for the hamstrings. Its not many effective resistance training that you can do for your hammies compared to your quads, calves and glutes. So typically the other parts of your legs build more muscle at a faster rate than your hamstrings which then has your hamstrings over compensating for the workload your glutes and quads are putting out.

You guys. Just. Ignore. Ndog. He takes up
way too much oxygen on this thread. Go Bucs!
