Friday OL Adult Entertainment

September 18th, 2020

Impressive.

Who doesn’t want some offensive line adult entertainment to begin the weekend?

Last week was the first NFL game in which rookie right tackle Tristan Wirfs snapped on a chin strap. No intersquad scrimmages. No worthless preseason games. Right away, Wirfs was tasked with trying to stop Bucs nemesis and Pro Bowl defensive end Cam Jordan.

Go get ’em kid!

And Wirfs, for his first at-bat in the NFL, held up remarkably well. In fact, Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians said, of the roughly 70 snaps that Wirfs played last Sunday, he may have had seven bad plays.

Playing against a Pro Bowler in his very first NFL game, that is just incredible.

Over at Barstool Sports Radio, producer and super-Bucs fan Steven Cheah decided to lift a few plays from All-22 highlighting Wirfs and show fellow Bucs fans who follow him on Twitter.

It really gets Joe worked up on a Friday morning to see a rookie play this well. It is almost like adult entertainment for Joe. Only without the liquor and the steep service fees.

He might be playing left tackle before the end of the year.

  2. cmurda Says:

The title of this article. I see what you did there Joe.

  3. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

It appears he could easily transition to the LT spot with no problem. Kid is a stud.

  4. DoooshLaRue Says:

    Very nice work Mr. Wirfs!
I know you’re going to get even better.

  5. bucfanforver Says:

    Maybe Wirfs should mentor Smith.

  6. Sarasota Garey Says:

    @bucfanforver lol

  7. Dan Says:

Anyone else see Burrow get crushed last night by his o-line? Still amazing to me that people don’t realize that offensive line is the most important unit in football. And because of Wirfs we might have a stud tackle for the next decade!

  8. Casual Observer Says:

As you have pointed out several times, Joe, that Iowa program has a reputation for training O lineman. A good example.

  9. Kalind Says:

Ridiculous that he was there at 13. He was far and away the best OL tackle in the draft. Wasn’t even all that close. Sooo SOO lucky. Future all-pro

  10. Anonymous Says:

I watched him so much on Sunday was so quiet because he was doing his job think he only had a false start

  11. Mike Johnson Says:

Come on Joe..Adult entertainment? Where da women at?

  12. Mitch Says:

    Joe this is awesome.

On another note HOW did Chris Godwin get cleared to practice today?

  13. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    A bit off-subject but we’ll start with Wirfs…

I’m very impressed with many of the draft picks in so far as character is concerned….these appear to be really good citizens…..

Wirfs, Winfield, SMB, Vea, White, Miller, Watson, Godwin……and many more….

    No divas, no thugs……so far!!!

  14. Sarasota Garey Says:

Does anyone honestly think Whirfs couldnt play left tackle better than Smith?

  15. Youngbucs Says:

Godwin back at practice the joes are to busy getting drama clicks. There is other buc news going besides comments in the media we have a gm Sunday but you wouldn’t know it.

  16. 813bucboi Says:

he shoudva exposed D.smith in his film study….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  17. Sarasota Garey Says:

Godwin was at practice, but hes not allowed to participate.

  18. Jason Says:

    Youngbucs
The Joe’s are old guys. The posts you’re looking for are probably on the way, you just got to give them time to type it up. Lol.

  19. 541BucsFan Says:

Great footwork, great hands, great vision and recognition. The way he drove the defender on the run plays was awesome!

This tape looks like a pro bowl player. Not a rookie.

I say leave Wirfs at RT and let him become the best in the league.

  20. Nick2 Says:

WOW i love it such a welcome sight seeing Jason nailed this pick. If he can move to left tackle make it happen sooner than later!!!!!!!!!

  21. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

Seeing him next to his fellow linemen you can see he’s a boy in a man’s body, the kids huge. Quick feet almost looks like he’s tap dancing, such a strong base too very impressed so far and it’s only his first game.

Now if we can only get everyone to finish their blocks.

  22. Bucsfanman Says:

“Paging Donovan Smith; Paging Donovan Smith. Your presence is requested in the film room, STAT!”

  23. Joe Says:

that Iowa program has a reputation for training O lineman. A good example.

    Yup.

    Mitch:

Godwin was at practice but he didn’t practice. Not allowed to while in concussion protocol.

    Youngbucs:

Sorry, but a player standing outside watching a practice is not remotely news to Joe as far as his possible status relating to playing on Sunday. Joe has seen J.R. Sweezy and Justin Evans watching too many practices on floppy hat patrol to count.

When Schefter came out with his update, Joe wrote an update because it contained information.

  24. Tackleblockwin Says:

Just wow! This kid has good technique and balance. He is going to be a good one Bucs fans.

  25. ModHairKen Says:

Yes, he can play LT, but hold off for a second and let the kids get better at RT.

  26. Steve Says:

I’ll go ahead and say it, OL porn 🤤

  27. duvalmike Says:

really like how he attacks the defender and initiates the contact. he doesnt wait to react to what the defender is going to do, he hits them with a punch to throw them off balance and then starts to counter the defenders move.

  28. Sarasota Garey Says:

    I like his haircut.

  29. Kgh4life Says:

If Donovan Smith has another crappy game, i think the Bucs coaching staff might have to look into moving Wirfs to LT, even though he’s just a rookie. Donovan is just a liability.

  30. Rod Munch Says:

Yeah, but wait until the dummies in here hear him talk about how he’s not mean… GRRRRR… or gets angry… GRRRRR…. and how he doesn’t think you need to be a meathead moron to play in the NFL… GRRRRR!!!!!!

When these dopes here hear that interview of him saying that they’re going to turn on him.

  31. SKBucsFan Says:

Weird how drafting Linemen in the first or second round can help out the line and improve team play. What a novel concept.

  32. Dbbuc711 Says:

Wirfs was the most impressive player in the game.
And really feels strange to say that about an o-lineman.

  33. Buczilla Says:

Thanks for sharing these awesome highlights.
