“He’s Trying To Turn Me Into A Living Legend”

August 18th, 2020

Mike Evans has a little love affair going with Tom Brady.

Evans opened up after practice today.

“He’s The Goat on and off the field. It’s crazy,” Evans said.

The Bucs’ Pro Bowl receiver marveled that Brady is so down to earth and just a hard working regular guy that loves his family. And Evans was happy to report Brady is teaching him a lot.

“He’s already up there as one of my favorite teammates. … That says a lot,” Evans said. “He’s trying to turn me into a living legend as well. I’m appreciative of that.”

Joe might need a cold shower after these takes for the greatest receiver in Bucs history. Opening day can’t arrive soon enough.

ME13 was already a household name.
TB12 is trying to make everyone on our team that way!

Is it just me or does anyone else notice the difference in the tone and attitude of the quotes from Everyone that gets interviewed?
    Belief is a Powerful Potion!

When JW didn’t come clean after the Uber incident, it seems that Mike checked out at that time in regards to respect for his QB. And after seeing the quotes from JPP, it seems most of the locker room felt the same way. Incredible what a true leader at QB means to a team…

now they can see the difference in demeanor, and accuracy, and the meaning of being a pro’s pro, the difference between brady and the former QB i will not mention his name, is night and day

    SB, you right!

Until now, Evans has never worked under a real NFL starting QB. From a career back up to a guy who blew all of his chances on and off the field to lead the team (who is now in his destiny as career backup in NO), Evans is finally seeing what a franchise QB can do for him as a WR, and his team. With luck, lots of Brady will wear off Evans, and Evans can mentor the next Bucs prospective franchise QB.

It is a new day, in Tampa Bay, the whole organization has respect and belief in T Brady. Mike is going to continue shine, and even get more YAC. Because of accurate ball placement from Brady, Mike will not have to stop and turn around all the time to catch the football. BTW the only thing that will stop this offense is covid or injuries because there is not a Deffense on the Planet that is going to stop the Brady Bunch. Go BUCS!!!

Unsurprisingly, im seeing a ton of hate for our former QB on all these threads. Pretty pathetic. Hopefully Bradys tenure here will go well.. because its taken Jameis an entire ONE practice to turn all the heads in that organiztion. Cant wait for this website to implode when he starts lighting us up

  12. Youngbucs Says:

I’m fine with him lighting. So long as he has 4-5 ints in between 😂

just read the practice reports on Winston…the Saints “love his work ethic and attitude”….we always loved those things about him here in Tampa also…just wanted it to translate to clean play on the field, which it has not yet done

Thankfully, everyone still on the Bucs also love the work ethic and attitude of the new guy. they are also loving what appear to be pinpoint throws.

Loved Winston, but i think it is fair to say that Mike Evans and a strong overall group of WRs propped Jameis up more than the other way around. If he ever gets to line up under center for the saints, i think the book on him will be to wait for him to force it to Michael Thomas

  14. El_Buc941 Says:

Touchdowns every su day from The GOAT to the Living Legend! These 2 have to be #1 in QB/WR duo right Joe?

  15. SlyPirate541 Says:

Would it surprise anyone if Evans leads the league in reception yards this season? I could see ME with 2-3 +200 yard games.

  16. Locked In Says:

It sure seems like el realisto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is in the cooler.
perma-ban? I actually kind of miss him. GOBUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~!

If Jameis ever throws the rock in New Orleans, he will be allowed to change the play and throw the ball to his tight ends and running backs. Something Tom Brady WILL be able to do at will. Brady is light years better than Jameis but Jameis was also a victim of Byron Leftwich which is why he threw more int’s than any previous year. If Leftwich forced Brady to run every play every time that LEFTWICH wanted to run and not what BRADY wants to run, I would bet the farm that Brady would throw a career high number of picks. I will also bet the farm ( IF Jameis ever gets a chance to start under Payton) that he would throw for a career low number of picks.

Obviously everyone is happy now that Brady is here ( other than the fakist, I mean realist fan around. Time to watch what the future holds and stop dwelling on the past. It’s a new day in Tampa Bay!!!
