Glimpse Into The Future

Need a reason to get hyped? Well, here is a peek.

Tom Brady celebrated his 43rd birthday today — how else? He was throwing passes. So today at One Buc Palace, the Bucs’ in-house video team published a small highlights package on social media.

The clips should get Bucs fans pumped. It showed Brady throwing a short pass to Mike Evans who bolted up the right sideline. It also showed Chris Godwin catching an apparent touchdown.

Yeah, this was even less than underwear football. In underwear football, the players are at least wearing helmets. Here, it was basically a bunch of dudes running plays in a park. Only difference was it was an NFL practice field and the guys were pros running specific plays.

Still, in this depressing summer, a glimpse of quality football is a welcome sight.

Quick passes…just what the fans have been asking for.

  2. dave Says:

Nice. Showing them what it is actually like to have the ball come out fast and on time

  3. Joe in Michigan Says:

This is awesome to see! Brady’s fired up, and Bucs fans should be, too!

  4. Rod Munch Says:

Got a two year window, lets not f it up.

Brady’s intensity is what trips my trigger!

I work on my birthday. Where is my article?;)

  6. gp Says:

Less than 2 second release, perfect spiral, leading the receiver, looks good to me!
    Perfect Storm coming!

  7. Ndog Says:

Wow those are going to be some nice 3 yards then watching Evans fall down or run out of bounds at the first sign of contact. At least we have Godwin to do something with those “scary” plays.

What a joke that verbiage is.

  8. SOEbuc Says:

Ndog…watch Mike Evans get a screen within ten yards of the end zone and let me know the results.

    GO BUCS!!!

  10. Youngbucs Says:

Ndog you lose all credibility when you do the same without being provoked. So stop crying about comments I’m I lying????

    Things

  12. Big Stinky Says:

I wonder how many passes hit the turf or get picked off? Not many I’m sure. Can’t wait to see those guys on game day. Gonna be something special this year!!!!

  13. james west Says:

no more slowing their rout and reaching behind them to catch the ball, or having the QB hang them out to dry, and get em practically killed trying to catch it, the ball is going to be where it is supposed to be, in stride so the receiver can glide yac yac yac

  14. Buczilla Says:

Thanks for the video and I can’t wait for the season to start. Parts of our country are in chaos and I’ve got football on the brain. Nutty times man.

  15. Ftmyersbuc Says:

Ndog is actually right about Evans. Not so much on screens, he knows his job is to run through people then, it’s when he makes a catch then spins and starts to run in the open field and he approaches the safety or db he always stutter steps and then gets tackled or steps out. If he would just keep going full stride he’d have 2 or so more tds every year and lots more yac. Mike is very good but he’s not gonna juke any nfl db’s in the open field. YouTube search reslbucstalk mike Evan’s 2019 to see this for yourself

  16. Brian Says:

    I think it moved.. 😜

  17. August 1976 Buc Says:

2 instant reasons offense will be better, no stopping and turning around to cath the ball from the QB on 75% of the throws. And an instant reduction of Interceptions, say from 33 to 8-10. Massive difference, plus not taking the heart out of your offensive and deffensive teamates with the Ints, who are busting their tales to win. Go Bucs!!

  18. Buc1987 Says:

    Ndog swears he’s a Bucs fan…but I don’t see it.

  19. August 1976 Buc Says:

Is this the Mike Evans on the Bucs lol Terance Newman sure does respect Mike https://www.youtube.com/watch?vOJ1mgIVYu0M

  20. NDog is an idiot Says:

Youngbucs… NDog lost all credibility 1 second after his birth!!!

  21. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Yep. Nice crisp passes on target and in stride. These pass catchers have to be stoked to have Brady.

  22. Oneilbucs Says:

I want to see the defense we were ranked 3rd in the NFL the last 5 years so offense doesn’t mean nothing to me . Defense is going to detriment if we win or lose and we have to throw the running game in their also . Defense has been the real problem with this team and if they don’t play good in at least 10 games we are going to lose . But with all these players opting out this will be a superbowl with a bunch of excuses for teams and quarterbacks that they love .

  23. Oneilbucs Says:

And I’m seeing a bunch of short passes now that we have Brady . Now they care if we can run the ball . And this is a 1 year window not a 2 year window .
