All NFC South Team

August 21st, 2020

Big year predicted.

This is sort of a fun look ahead to see how the Bucs will do this fall.

Over at CBSSports.com, their scribes picked an All-Division team. So let’s look at what Jared Dublin foresees some Bucs players doing.

Despite the Bucs being absolutely loaded at the offensive skill positions, only two Bucs make this All-NFC South list. Receiver Chris Godwin and tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Dublin picks Drew Brees as the division’s best quarterback.

On the offensive line, a Bucs player makes his mark. Ali Marpet is the only one there. Dublin picks three Saints offensive linemen).

On the defensive front-seven, you can envision many Bucs having the chance to get honors, no? Well, Dublin believes two will make the All-NFC South defensive front-seven. They would be Vita Vea and Lavonte David.

In the secondary, Jamel Dean is included on the all-division squad.

Of course you ask, what about Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Ndamukong Suh, Jason Pierre-Paul or Devin White? You’d have to ask Dublin.

I guess everyone thinks that was Barrett did last year was a fluke. He’s going to open some eyes this year with JPP on the other side. We should see 12-15 sacks for Shaq. This secondary is going to be top 10 if not top 5. The confidence these guys are showing and just how flat out talented they are is going to be something special. Safety is my only concern in the secondary, I think we have the corners to make stuff happen.

Hard to determine without seeing who was picked but when you look at his picks, it makes more sense….Michael Thomas & Julio Jones vs Mike Evans, for example.

Who needs 19.5 sacks on their line? Leaving off Shaq tells me this guy don’t know sh*t from Shinola. Ira will know what I mean here.

If quitting no heart gronk is the “best” TE, then the NFC South is in trouble!!!!!!!!! I am sure that we will hear the same ole excuses like, ” If he was not injured” or “that he just needs another year becaius the offense was new”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing that changes for the sheep are there usernames!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look like T. J . Logan is lost for the season. He tore his patellar tendon, the worst to recover from. This tendon is used for explosiveness and cutting ability. Poor kid, he was having a terrific camp.

I think that was what derailed Cadillac Williams. Felt so bad for him when the second one popped.

Wishing a good recovery for TJ.

What a crock! Let’s let the season play out (hopefully it will) and then see what the All-NFC South Team looks like. I have a feeling a few more Bucs will be on the list. Got to admit though the NFC South is stacked all-around.

Dublin is a moron. Or maybe a Saints fan? Ah, don’t matter they are one and the same.
