Tell us the truth Joe instead of being fake media. Ira cares more about KC than he does his hometown team. This is so silly. Ira was a Chiefs fan long before the Bucs existed. He is also a Bucs fan. It’s not an excuse. It’s just reality. –Joe
And don’t give me the excuse he is old let him be. This is one Buc fan that will NEVER forget his traitorous words….,, “MY CHIEFS”!

  2. SteveK Says:

    The Sage is the best.

He is a great Buc fan, and if the poster above understood- he’d know Ira rooted for the Chiefs in order to go against his brother and his Raider fan allegiances.

Ira also likes the Giants in baseball bc Barry likes the Dodgers.

I dig the brotherly rivalry, and the fact that the Sage is a true fan.

Wake up, please, as football existed before the Bucs in 1976.

  3. SteveK Says:

And the Chiefs finally won a SB, good for them!

Andy Reid is a great dude for all accounts and Pat Mahomes is a rising star.

Not a Chiefs fan, but ok with them winning.

I hope old man Brady lights their asses up when they come to Ray Jay.

  4. Captain Solyard Says:

I have a question for Ira. I was looking at Big Storm menu thinking about getting one of those Reuben’s Ira is always talking about. It looks awesome, but I don’t like Swiss Cheese. Now I know Philly fans go insane if you put mayonnaise on a Philly Cheese Steak (which is why I always order Mayo…I like making them mad). If I put Provolone instead of Swiss, is Ira gonna give me one of those sideways looks?…are there any rules governing a Reuben?

  5. SteveK Says:

    Captain solyard,

The Sage would be ok w that. After all, he goes to primanti brothers and orders a salad! 😂

This person amazes me. How one can be so petty and immature for so long without eventually being embarrassed by his own behavior is beyond me.

  7. WD40 Says:

No acknowledgement of what’s going on in the world? I know you want to honor this being a sports podcast but just a minute of attention seems appropriate.
Sadly, there are horrors and injustices daily across the globe, and in our backyard and throughout the nation. Joe could take a moment every week to acknowledge a different societal problem/issue/crisis. It’s just not what this podcast is about. Ira’s podcast represents an escape from all of that for a lot of people, and there is value to having/providing those kinds of places/podcasts, etc., in society.–Joe

Please excuse if this was recorded before the weekend – assuming it wasn’t as you guys have always stayed current with your recordings and subsequent postings.

Joe – this is my favourite podcast and you guys do a great job. Out of curiosity though – what happened to the bobby fenton podcast? hasn’t been posted for the last two weeks i believe. is there an update you can share with your readers please?
Nothing to share. Bobby took a little time off. He’ll be back. –Joe
