Ryan Jensen Is Fired Up!

April 21st, 2020

Stoked.

Simply put, the Bucs’ starting center is ready for some football!

In the wake of the earth-moving news this afternoon the Bucs traded for future Hall of Fame tight end and pro wrestling champion Rob Gronkowski, Bucs center Ryan Jensen took a break from searing large chunks of beef over an open pit to react to the new Bucs’ tight end.

What more needs to be said?

The Bucs really are going for broke this year.

Provided there is a season.

  1. Ivan The Insider Says:

GOTTA GO RUNNING BACK AT #14.

We can’t wait until the 2nd and end up with the 4th-6th+ ranked back.

Can easily get a RT in round 2 or 3.

It’s a POSITION OF NEED. VALUE is meaningless on a WIN NOW team.

  2. Bird Says:

    Yes sir
Gronk – the biggest knuckle head in football

They will give him the joey galloway treatment

  3. Aaron Says:

Don’t need a RB in round 1 – there will be plenty of backs available at 45.

Now, for fun, taking Ruggs at 14…then the LSU back at 45…should be able to run with teams playing a dime D.

  4. scot pederson Says:

We will b fine at RB, need a great CB or S

  5. Tampabuscsbro Says:

you know Ivan Right tackle is a position of Need also.

Also usually a much better plan to take one of those guys.

  6. Trench War Says:

An OT is the biggest position of need. Gotta protect Brady now that Dotson’s not here.

  7. Mikadeemss Says:

    Badazz TE that’s a willing blocker….. I’m flippin STOKED!!GO BUCS!!!

  8. Ivan The Insider Says:

    Tampabaybucsbro,

I can see the Bucs going RT in the 1st, even a slight trade up.

But you’re not going to get a game-changing back in the 2nd. You can still get a solid RT in the 2nd. That’s the difference.

  9. Christopher Schiefen Says:

Ivan…there’s a good chance the first runner won’t go till the second round. If you wait second round for a tackle you’re the the 6th or worse best player there.

  10. Jon Says:

This team has got to practice together, this covid is gonna be a real problem if we dont find a way to have chemistry

  11. gofortheface30 Says:

Jon – Covid is a problem for everybody. Whatever. I DO agree that it would be ideal to get some OTA’s in, but heres the thing, once Florida opens back up in some capacity in May – you better believe the receivers and TE’s will find a place to run some routes and talk offense, work on timing. With a guy like Brady that has seen EVERYTHING, I think the idea of them getting off to a slow start is a little overblown

  12. rrsrq Says:

    Was Gronk the missing piece?

  13. chuckabuc99 Says:

What’s great about adding Gronk is he and Brady already have the chemistry working. No need to wait for it to develop like with the rest of our receiving corp.

  14. HomerSimpsonRocks Says:

Aaron: yes. That would be amazing. Trade OJ to get ammo for a good RT

  15. Pugs&Bucs Says:

They are reminding me of the 97 Marlins who loaded their team with FAs of that one magical year.

  16. Capt.Tim Says:

How can you not believe, that this is a Super Bowl team?
Except this Super Bowl, we will be a monster on OFFENSE!!
Watching this team since year one- never thought Id say that!!
    This offense is terrifying!!
    I cant Wait!

  17. Tackleblockwin Says:

Is anyone else waiting to see a story about the Bucs officially trading either Brate or OJ? This is just so crazy lol.

  18. Jimmy Says:

Everything sounds great on paper, but we’re the Bucs so I’m expecting this to fail miserably.

  19. NashvilleBuc Says:

    @Jimmy
I hate to agree with you. I usually would. After decades of hype->letdown->repeat, it’s hard to believe. But damn it, we just gotta go all in for this ride. BELIEVE?! I mean, if we can’t believe this… why are we still holding on? I’m in. I BELIEVE!

  20. White Tiger Says:

This is interesting news…just tell me the Trent Williams trade for OJ Howard & a 4th round pick has been signed/sealed/delivered…and I’ll skip the draft…

    NOW, LETS GO!

  21. White Tiger Says:

Mr Licht: watching Tampa’s ‘Fellowship Of the Ring’…playing out…is cool. Thanks for this!

…many here are willing to let bygones, be bygones…inform us that our GOAT will be protected by a Bucs trade for Trent Williams, and all will be forgiven.

  22. lambchop Says:

I would trade down and get a RB. There’s an interesting OT from Auburn named Prince Tega that would be available later. I mean, do we really need a HOFer at RT? No. Just get an able body that’s not old like Dotson. With a trade down, we can get a decent DB as well.

  23. Bucluck Says:

They should of waited after the draft so if they trade the other tight end he would of brought more value

  24. Ship Thief Says:

    Holy Toledo,
Where’d all these new fans come from?
    Joe(s) bout to get rich!
