Report: Bucs Not A Finalist For Brady

Using Bucs as leverage?
You can’t stick out from the crowd if you parrot what the crowd is chanting.
And so Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports is doing just that. In a video he released on Twitter, Robinson is firm in his information from sources that the Bucs *are not* a finalist for Brady though he did say they made an impressive pitch to the future Hall of Fame quarterback.
You can view the video below where Robinson explains his report. Also keep in mind Robinson also reported some five years ago that the Bucs would not draft Mr. Entertainment, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, because Bucs co-owner Darcie Glazer Kassewitz was uncomfortable with Jameis’ college hijinks.
(Joe was later told that Team Glazer howled with laughter when they read that report and referred to it with a term known to describe fertilizer that comes from male cattle.)

Never underestimate the power of self-preservation.
If the Bucs sign Tom Brady, then Bruce Arians certainly will be head coach for the next two seasons.
If the Bucs bring back Jameis and lose next year, then Arians likely is booted from his job in January 2021.

Normally I would be with you if you guys say a report is male cow fertilizer (lol,) but in this case I hope this internet clown is right. I just dont want the circus this guy brings and the expectations. Because if it doesnt work (which I think it wont) then it will be absolutely DEVASTATING to the team and fans. You are obviously new to this site, we have been force feed the “nickname” “America’s QB ” since 2015 and Winston’s first few OTA’s. He has not earned it, the “nickname” was annointed to him by one of the Joe’s. Along with “Savior” “Franchise QB” and Pro Bowl QB, without adding “second alternative” before Pro.
We have also been force feed the reason for the 2018 suspension was simply a “hassle” nothing to see here.
I have no personal grudge against Winston, he has amazed me many times, but not enough to wash the visions of his poor play again and again and again.
Hope this clears it up for ya.

No way brady comes, Chargers are way better fit, they actually throw to a TE, plus hes better than our 2 TEs, their WRs are very good, granted not as good as our 2, they actually have a really talented RB, and their defense is already playoff caliber good (ours is decent), don’t forget Brady won’t share the LA spotlight with his coach, Anthony Lynn unlike Arians…..most importantly MONEY DOESN’T MATTER to Brady hes worth 180 million and his wife is worth twice that, it’s not going to happen

Ok if you say so he’s gonna go to the chargers the team with a worse o line than the bucs, a team that went 5-11 and 0-6 in their own division which includes the chiefs where he’d only hope to be a wildcard lol. Raiders in the same division and would not compete any better. Brady would have hard fight in the playoffs against Patriots, titans, ravens and chiefs, even the Bill’s are more dangerous with Hopkins
In the nfc you look at saints, 49ers, vikings, packers and Seahawks. Even if he doesnt pick the bucs which would be stupid better go to the nfc.

Brady’s goodbye message to the Pats fans thanked the fans for, among other things, the packed open training dates in preseason and the sold out stadium each game. Does THAT sound like Tampa? Did anyone REALLY think that Brady was coming to Tampa?
Brady already ranks in the 10 oldest QBs to play the game. And if he plays 3 more years like he said he’d be in 2nd place. Nothing spells ‘dynasty in the making’ like having a 43-year-old at the helm tossing the rock to receivers who were barely in diapers when he came into the league.

That’s not what I heard him say. He only said that Brady hasn’t narrowed it down to only the Chargers and Bucs. He’s reporting that same thing that everyone has said this morning. He does not claim that Tampa is not in the running.
