Draft Order Shifts; Jameis In Play For Colts?

March 16th, 2020

John Lynch gets aggressive to leapfrog the Bucs

Huuuuge trade in the NFL is going down, and it involves the team picking just ahead of Tampa Bay.

The 49ers are moving defensive lineman DeForest Buckner to the Colts for the Indianapolis’ first-round draft pick, No. 13 overall. The Bucs are slated to pick at No. 14.

The Colts will Buckner $21 million a year, per Adam Schefter of BSPN. Massive money right there.

But the Colts need a quarterback and that’s Joe’s focus. They could have drafted one at No. 13, and now they won’t. And the 49ers certainly won’t be selected a QB in front of the Bucs.

So who will start at QB for the Colts. Did they do this deal because they believe they have Philip Rivers locked up in free agency? Joe thinks America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, is a very interesting fit in Indianapolis. They’ve got a true No. 1 running back and a standout offensive line.

In case you just woke up, the Jameis camp was free to negotiate with any team as of noon today.

  1. Jon Says:

In case you forgot. Not one rumor of him even being looked at lol and I’m a Winston

  2. DUTCH-BUC-FAN Says:

Kinlaw, Chaisson, Delpit, Becton. All could be in play for the 49ers.

  3. 813bucboi Says:

    brissett or rivers for INDY….

Lynch loves the trenches…..i think he’s going after kinlaw….a player the bucs need with or without suh….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

This is good news for the Bucs if looking for a Qb #14.

  5. tmaxcon Says:

it’s great lynch was able to distance himself from the bucs losing franchise and surround himself with 49er and Bronco greats to ensure his success. I was wrong about lynch i thought he’d choke but by surrounding himself with winners and not buccaneers has proved me wrong.

one thing for sure is that lynch will never have to worry about the bucs challenging his franchise for nfc supremacy

  6. Hethrew 30 Says:

Winston as the starter on any team is a joke–unless it’s an emergency. And yeah, let’s just trade our first round pick so we can get Winston anyway to be our QB. Notsomuch. Winston will never be the face of anyone’s franchise. Thinking Rivers or Bridgewater to Indy before Winston.

    Thanks for the laugh Joe.

  7. Hethrew 30 Says:

All that said, we do know Rivers has talked to Indy…so if anything, Rivers is going to sign there.

  8. Pewter power Says:

No we want winston to go to an nfc team to help sabotage their chances at playoffs.

  9. Defense Rules Says:

The 49ers needed to get rid of Buckner’s massive salary. Drafting Kinlaw makes perfect sense for them bucboi. Bucs now NEED to re-sign Ndamukong Suh.

  10. Lunchbox Says:

What I’m more concerned with is if the Niners are now in play for Kinlaw. That’s who I really wanted at 14, if we didn’t get one of the big 4 OT’s

  11. Clean House Says:

I’m excited for Jameis to give these clowns the middle finger

  12. Silent_Partner Says:

They’ve always been on the list. Colts, Chargers, Jags, Washington.

Riddle me this Buc fans. If your team was signing Brady, don’t you think that would have already been done today and it would have been of higher priority than re-signing JPP? Same with Bridgewater. He went to Chicago with his lowball offer in hand, which if the Bucs were in on, they would have jumped on that before the window opened if they were going to move on from Winston. Hey, but that’s just common sense speaking there. Don’t mind me.

You’d better hope he doesn’t leave you, not the other way around.

  13. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Dang I was hoping Indy would take a QB and push another lineman our way. I could see 49ers then drafting trenches which is exactly what I want for us.
    Not good.

  14. TexBuc Says:

We have history of being left at the Altar waiting on……Runaway Brides

  15. Jonathan Limpchimpi Says:

Smart move by Lynch…draft a much cheaper replacement for Buckner…2nd contracts can be pricey. He would love nothing more than to pluck a player Tampa wanted.

  16. BeeBucs Says:

REACH NUMBER 2 for the day, Joe! LOL

  17. Lunchbox Says:

Lol I didn’t read the comments above about Kinlaw. Guess I’m not the only one that thought that. I’d rather have Kinlaw over Chaisson, although I think he’s a freak athlete (like a Montez Sweat guy), I just feel like Chaisson is more of a gamble with his limited time at the position. Very raw, very talented. High risk/reward.

  18. BrianBucs Says:

Don’t care where Winston signs just as long as it’s not here

  19. firethecannons Says:

very exciting FA this year for the Bucs!

    1) glad to resign JPP
    2) glad to tag Shaq

    need O-Line help–Conklin?

what about Devonta Freeman, Desmond Trufant? we could use both of those players

  20. D-Rome Says:

Colts fans don’t want Jay-Miss and I don’t blame them.

  21. Mitch Says:

They could go WR if Emmanuel Sanders doesn’t come back. Although that might be wishful thinking. They have invested heavily in trenches with their draft picks under Lynch. I could see them taking Kinlaw or another top DL to replace Deforest Buckner. Just means we will go OL, Marlon Davidson, or trade down ( I am not a Chaisson fan).

  22. lol Says:

Its funny to see all these idiots talking crap about Jameis. Dude is literally the MOST PRODUCTIVE QB AVAILABLE!

  23. Adrnagy Says:

    I don’t care what the 9ers do.

    Problably the BB do …

Brady’s Bandwagon. (Like licht, Bruce and two face fans).

  24. Adrnagy Says:

After 20 yrs. patriot for life. Bradh coming to the Bucs. And “Bucs fan” wearing Brady jerseys make me vomit.

  25. lambchop Says:

According to OddShark, the Bucs are favored to get Brady over any other team.

  26. lambchop Says:

    *Odds Shark

  27. 813bucboi Says:

if we strike out on suh, sign linval joseph…..

if we strike out on kinlaw, draft raekwon davis R2…..

but chaisson would be interesting at #14…..he’ll be behind shaq and jpp…..that could work….great depth at the very least….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  28. Ndog Says:

I am fully at the point I want us to miss out on all the QBs so treating players the way they have is not rewarded. I want Mr. “it doesnt matter who the QB is” to try to win with Blaine Gabbert or Ryan Griffin. This guy is so full of crap cause he says that and now he is throwing the bank at Brady. He is a fraud and has been throwing Jamies under the bus which does nothing but hurt a player that they didnt even want. Again what is the point of that other than just being evil and trying to hurt the young man across the league. Seriously what kind of person does that regardless of where he may or may not sign?

  29. Adrnagy Says:

Bucboi can’t wait to order and wear Brady jersey …

  30. Adrnagy Says:

D-Rome , stevek can’t wait to order and wear Brady jersey.

  31. Hethrew 30 Says:

Hey Cleanhouse…you hit the nail on the head. Only the problem with Winston is he gave all who gave him chance the middle finger as you mention…when he first got here. Guess what cuz…that is why no one talking about him. You reap what you sow.

  32. 813bucboi Says:

    mitch

    i hear ya….

im not really a huge fan but the kid is very talented….he reminds me of josh allen from KY last year….and he put up great numbers last year….

i have my concerns but him playing under SHAQ and JPP makes me feel slightly better….lol..

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  33. Hethrew 30 Says:

Ndog says: “so treating players the way they have is not rewarded…”

Ndog…does someone slip you weed to say this stuff? Why has Winston treated the NFL, the Bucs, women, fans, etc the way he has thus far?

  34. Couch Fan Says:

Im lovin the Winston fan boys freak out. LMAO. Keep crying for us you clowns.

  35. Hethrew 30 Says:

NDog…knowing you love Winston. When he goes the Bengals to back up Burrows will you become a CIN fan?

  36. 813bucboi Says:

    ADRNAGY

i have a 3 JWs jerseys……lol…want 1?….i have the red, white and color rush jersey….

better yet, i’ll hold on to them just in case i run outta toilet paper!!!!…lol…

PS: brady aint my first choice…but you already know that….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  37. soggy Says:

    Please take him please

  38. Slugglife Says:

By 12 noon? Surely he’s signed by now then. He so great everybody is clamoring for him to be their #1. Didn’t you know he passed for 5000 yards last year? Who wouldn’t want that?

  39. soggy Says:

I can throw pick sixes and will real cheap

  40. 813bucboi Says:

    conklin to the browns?….WTF LICHT!!!!!!

    draft isaiah wilson from UGA…..

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  41. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

I was concerned with Indy picking right before the Bucs at #13, not any more.

I don’t understand what Lynch is going for at that spot. Maybe they will use #13 and #31 to move up further to get Dereck Brown or Isaiah Simmons.

I agree Indy thinks they have their QB locked up.

    Musical QB chairs.

Arizona stole Deondre Hopkins from the Texans for David Johnson ($10M) and a 2nd rounder. That means the Cardinals will pick an OT for sure at #8.

    Musical OT chairs.

  42. Slugglife Says:

We’re two faced fans for being done with JW y’all!

  43. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

Jameis may fit the roster but he’ll never fit with the fan base, IMO

  44. Slugglife Says:

Stupid two faced fans who want to win games. Those bastards!

  45. lambchop Says:

Bucs have reached out to Jameis Winston, so all you homers and homos can stop crying.

  46. soggy Says:

@ Slugglife and if you watching JW it’s just one face=what in the he!! was that?

  47. HeavyE Says:

Jason Lichtinthehead, is doing what he always does, Nothing!!!! Go BUCS!!!!

  48. LazyMoak Says:

Inquiring minds want to know what #47 is cooking up, who are they after ? Maybe that Alabama WR
    guesses

  49. Slugglife Says:

You’re gonna have to speak English to me. I don’t do urban.

  50. soggy Says:

Ever notice how if you do not want jw as the qb his supporters call you homo”s oR idiots or or the list is long, maybe they like a qb that barely can stay out of jail.

  51. BigMacAttack Says:

Good move by Johnny boy. She’d that big money

  52. Ndog Says:

What I find funny is if you simply believe someone is the best option for their team the have to be a “fanboy”. You do know that I have season tickets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not to any one player?

That being said I have opinions and I can express my opinions and support what I feel is right and say screw off for the ones I dont support. I still have tickets and will be at every game, but I simply have very little belief that anything they are doing at QB is going to work and even if it does work it will be so short lived that come this time two years from now we will be sitting here having these same discussions again. This is what you people dont get, Arians is doing this 100% for himself and is trading in any possible future for his personal success now, even though it is unlikely to work. I personally have zero respect for the man after this entire process as he handled this about with little class as possible. He has done nothing but hurt a young man that played through a broken hand, torn up knee and worked as hard as possible for him last year. So lets just say Arains thought he was the worst player in the league, why bad mouth him the way he has over and over and over again? Just let him leave and move on but no lets destroy him on the way out so everyone thinks he is useless. This is probably just to save face as that is what he does blame everyone else and take zero accountability. Heck if I were Jameis even if they came back and offered me $40 million I would rather play as a backup for half as much than play for this man ever again. Why would any player want to play for him again. I kinda hope Brady does come here that way when we fail people will finally blame Arains as we know they wont blame Brady. That would be justice for the crap he has pulled over the past few months. The problem is we will all suffer for his selfish, arrogant behavior.

  53. ManzielMadness Says:

    @813

Sadly the Browns offered Conklin 20mil his first year… we were never going to afford him.

  54. Jonathan Limpchimpi Says:

Pretty sure Winston isn’t a Frank Reich/Chris Ballard type of player…

  55. lambchop Says:

Browns are making some serious moves. They are going to contend sooner or later.

  56. SteveK Says:

Last time I checked the super bowl is in Tampa next year. Brady gets us there, maybe. Winston- no shot at playoffs.

  57. Slugglife Says:

The above essay is a conglomeration if everything you’ve said repeatedly for the last 4 months. We get it. You love Jameis. You’re an FSU homer. Everybody else also gets to voice their opinion and you sh!t on their opinion if you disagree.

    Just calm down.

  58. Carl m. Says:

And history repeats itself. Now Jameis you are on your way $100 million and a Superbowl ringtone.hell u might even end up in Canton. If the Bucs think Tom Brady or Tedy Bridgewater is
Comming to town they are dummer than even i thought they were.aThe past reviles the future.

  59. TexBuc Says:

Teams that win the off season RARELY win in season.

  60. lambchop Says:

    Ndog,

Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Some of us would rather see a change at QB because I’m sure that lockerroom is split on Jameis. We’re not going to get FAs wanting to come here if they know they’re going to waste their career away on a proven mediocre QB. You can’t keep failing on the same attempt. I’d rather fail 10,000 times and know 10,000 ways something won’t work.

  61. TexBuc Says:

The Bucs a LONG history of whiffing on high priced free agents.

  62. Slugglife Says:

“You have to ignore the coaches and be who you are.” Pretty sure that didn’t come out of BAs mouth. So what’s this accountability BS you speak of? “Check the sheet, I’m ballin’” Again BA never said that. That was JW. Meanwhile your favorite team talks draft in November but your FSU glasses see something different. 5000 yards looks great when you see it in garnet and gold. Pewter and red, draft talk in Nov? Not so much bud.

If he’s here he’s our QB. If not, we can all just move on.

  63. soggy Says:

How many red letter accounts do you have NDOG?

  64. Slugglife Says:

    Now that’s a good question.

  65. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

What did Ndog say…someone give me the short version of stuff he has not said before …please

  66. Bucs Guy Says:

Looks to me like the worst case scenario for the Bucs in the draft – all 4 of the OTs and both DTs (Brown, Kinlaw) will be gone by #14. Do the Bucs take Chaisson or trade back to #21 with Philly and take OT Josh Jones from Houston?

Giants, Cards and Jets going OT for sure. Better hope Browns don’t go OT now that they gave Conklin. Better hope Chargers go Herbert at QB. Better hope Carolina and Jax go Defense. Who knows what the Raiders will do? 49ers are going D at #13 – probably Kinlaw.

  67. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Colts have been negotiating with Philip Rivers all day, Joe. They are probably confident they will sign him, which means they can take a later round QB.

  68. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    @Bucs Guy

There are other OL options too, just not the top 4. And you never know…if the Bucs land Brady, and Tua falls to them, then they can sit him a year or two and develop him.

  69. Tvan101 Says:

He wants one of those stud receivers.

  70. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    SteveK Says
“Last time I checked the super bowl is in Tampa next year. Brady gets us there, maybe. Winston- no shot at playoffs.”

I can’t argue about Brady, but Winston could get us one and done in the playoffs next year. Maybe.

  71. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

49er Dynasty in the making…not bad for a washed up old jock

  72. HeavyE Says:

Brady is not coming here, no OL to protect Him and no running game, Stop Fooling Yourselves……….

  73. wantstastayabuc Says:

Don’t let the door hit ya!

  74. Tbbucs3 Says:

“Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”

I agree, it would be stupid for the Bucs to roll another bad defense out there and expect different results.

Bucs are consistently top 5 in offense but bottom 5 in defense.

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what the problem is.

  75. RustyRhinos Says:

tmaxcon, are you a Bucs fan or are you not? Every single post you put up here is constantly negative, about this player about that player about the coaches the GM the owners. Why are you a “fan” if you have nothing that moves your needle? I wish we could help you get over this negativity for our team the players and the coaches and the owners and the managers of our team The Buccaneers. If you can’t find anything positive about our team please feel free to walk the plank!

I thought you were a Bucs fan ? This statement proves that you are more a Winston fan than a Bucs fan .

You literally just said “ you want the Bucs to miss out on all of the QBs” .
You basically just said that you want the Bucs to suck .

Have fun rooting for the Saints or Steelers bud .

  77. SmoothBayRider Says:

Also NDog , this is what you don’t get . Even if our marriage to Brady is short lived , it will prove more fruitful than bringing back Jameis for another year .

NDOGi. 2018 : “But waaaaiiit , we just need to get rid of this coach and get a good one and Jameis will be the best QB in the league . “

  78. SmoothBayRider Says:

I have a question . How many different offensive systems does Winston need to be in before he stops turning the ball over ? Third times the charm ?

  79. bucsfan951 Says:

dude, i am honestly and whole hardily worried for NDOG. i think dude is losing it and about to crack. it was very entertaining for awhile but now i am actually worried for him.

NDOG, its ok. JW will be fine. He will land somewhere. Just let the first tier qbs get signed and then they can start with the second tier, i mean, winston. he’ll be ok. i promise.

dont do anything stupid. you have so much going for you. i know you have season tickets to the bucs as you’ve told us this soooo many times. see, you have great things going on in your life.

get well, NDOG. let me know if you need to talk on the side. im here for ya, buddy

  80. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Colts want JW? Lucky there is a GM more idiotic than ours.

  81. Dave Says:

its like NAWGnIG CONTROLD THIS CHAT AND ALL YOU DORKS ARE HIS FOLLOWERS WHO HANG ON EVERYTHING HE TYPES LOL, FREAKING PATHETIC YOU LOSERS NEED A JOB A FRIED AND A LIFE

  82. #1 Pick QB 2 Cent Brain Says:

Lot of rumors and leaks by agents but nothing about Jameis….

  83. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Dave, I really wish Joe would IP Ban your racist @$$.

  84. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Dave use these two weeks off to learn where the spellcheck and caps lock are on your iPhone 5.

  85. Mike Johnson Says:

Know your Buc history. And we do have a long history of letting QB’s get away to other teams and win Superbowls. You..me..We..cannot deny this.If I were Jameis I’d go to the Colts if they wanted me. If Brady stays in NE and Bridges with the saints? Our Bucs are in a pickle. Look out here comes Dalton. Bucs might be counting on nobody wanting Winston. They might be..Wrong.

  86. Dom>Licht Says:

Jamies open to talk to anyone since noon YET not one word any where about any team contacting Jamies…… either word is out He is resigning with Tampa or he just SUCKS ! America’s back up

  87. DBS Says:

    Dave.
Looks like your here a lot and reading. Posting also. So you need to get a life.

  88. crazyBucs_CL Says:

any team that want to win SB, any…. is talking to JW????
please, anybody heard anything……???? tell us please….
or is not just us “JW haters” that dont want him here???

    BA = LovieS 2.0

  89. tmaxcon Says:

Bucs are missing out on some great free agents while brady uses them for a better offer that being said Most NFL players would prefer a case of herpes over a career death sentence in Tampa

  90. TexBuc Says:

If rumors are true we have offered everything Tom Brady could ask for so whats the hold up??
Maybe Tom Brady has his own order of preference like the Bucs, and he is waiting for door number 2 and we are door number 4.
    I sense another runaway bride.

  91. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Mike Johnson who be these QBs you talk about? Young, well, we were wrong. Dilfer? Ryan Leaf could have won with that D. Williams? He makes 2. Not exactly a long history as NfL players change teams more often than Sinatra changed wives.

  92. wantstastayabuc Says:

    BREAKING: JW signs with NE!

    Of course not!

  93. Couch Fan Says:

  95. TexBuc Says:

With so many EXPERT personnel people on this site I wonder why we have such a long losing tradition?
    Inquiring minds want to know

  96. Buccnbeliever Says:

Did Lynch forget the Bucs can trade up, too?

Nahh. This is a smokescreen from the Jameis camp.

  97. Adrnagy Says:

Bucboi … what happen to your Conklin tackle?
Imo he’s a bust outside titans.

  98. Ndog Says:

Yes Smooth I am Bucs fan first and foremost but I also like to treat people the way I want to be treated and I am embarrassed by the way they treated a employee of theirs. That’s all nothing more nothing less.

  99. TexBuc Says:

49ers traded Buckner while he still had value I know a foreign concept to our Bucs. Knowing ahead of time they could not afford to pay all their former 1st DL.

  100. Adrnagy Says:

The latest one is Jameis Winston. According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Jon Gruden is interested in signing Winston.

  101. SteveK Says:

It would be so epic to sign Tom Brady!

I hope he comes Ron tampa. And we should offer him #12, a blank check, say in play calling and offensive personnel, the rights to the 14th overall pick, and whatever else the man wants.

Brady is just what the doctor ordered a leader who takes care of the ball. Hello playoffs.

Once we would get Brady in the fold, we could unleash a bunch of other free agent signings to compete for the SB in Tampa this year.

    A fan can dream.

We made a huge pickup 20 years ago and it got us over the hump. Let’s do it again.

  102. ATrain Says:

    Interesting

Haven’t heard a peep about Jameis on any TV shows or other football blogs or sites

So is this based on anything but Joes thoughts???

  103. Adrnagy Says:

Steven k , you make me vomit

  104. StonedBuc Says:

    Conklin was trash…..

  105. TexBuc Says:

    Steve

And you think Winston fans are delusional

  106. SteveK Says:

What’s delusional about Brady leading the Bucs to the playoffs? The man has been to 9 Super Bowls.

If you cut his career before the knee injury, and after the knee injury, he’s anointed two HOF worthy careers.

What makes people sick about Brady?

This would be like the lightning signing Wayne Gretzky, or the Magic signing Michael Jordan when they both still had juice.

Jameis played himself out of a contract in Tampa. Brady on this team would be epic as hell.

  107. Adrnagy Says:

Jason licht , glazer and Bruce have no integrity.

    A) Brady is a patriot for life. A lifer. 20yrs.

    B) don’t get mixed up in other ppl problems (Bill / Brady)

    C) go about your business.

Only stupid ppl make those mistakes. Stupid organizations. Smart ones get out of the way. (John lynch ) my respect…. Brady’s first choice. 49ers. The team he love growing up. 49ers could of signed him. But John lynch smell trouble or I should say respect. Integrity. And stayed out of it. Went on about his business

    Clowns

  108. TexBuc Says:

    steve

5 years I would have been all over this, but not for a QB who will be 43 at the start of the season.

  109. TexBuc Says:

We are not a QB away from the super bowl

  110. SteveK Says:

I would argue we are a RT, RB, QB, and one defensive playmaker away from being a SB contender. Also barring w sign Suh and Nassib back too.

  111. TexBuc Says:

    Steve

Add #3 WR, Safety, and we only have 2 DL under contract. Odds low we will hit on every draft pick.

  112. Adrnagy Says:

Do you guys hear this Steven k … you just said give Brady a blank check !

Are you going to have money left for depth in WR , Godwin extension , suh, depth in dline , nassib , RT , draft picks ?
Or … are you having leftwhich be the #3 WR?

  113. Adrnagy Says:

If we don’t sign Winston … I’m skipping next season. As hard as it will be but I got to do it. I’m pissed.

  114. SteveK Says:

leftwich can be backup QB Coach- he’s younger than Brady.

Obviously Brady would sign and other guys would take a little less to play with the 🐐.

  115. SteveK Says:

Why would you be pissed if we don’t sign Jameis? His play doesn’t warrant it and the team sucked with him for the past five years. If he’s asking for top dollar, then goodbye!

  116. TexBuc Says:

Longtime fans like myself dread going back to 3 and out then punt.

  117. CPN Says:

As Nsync once said, “bye bye bye, Winston”

Bill Belicheck has been successful on premise it is better to release or trade a player 1 year too early than keep a player 1 year too long. Notice a trend of former Patriot players under performing with their new teams?

  119. Adrnagy Says:

besides mike alstott , Winston and co as brought excitement in offense. What 20,30yrs.
    Oh gramatica too.

  120. Tricky Ricky Says:

Joe not Indy, we really need Mr. pick 6 to go to the Panthers so we can lock in 2 division wins next season.

  121. Wantstastayabiuc Says:

    Go Colts!

  122. Tye Says:

LoL… Just saw on a Colts fan site a fan blogger offered up the idea of Winston to the Colts…
All comments were negative and he comments on every response as if trying to convince others JW is a good option… He is not well received anywhere..

  123. DoooshLaRue Says:

    ^^^^^
So ndog is a Colts fan now?

  124. SteveK Says:

    Adrnagy,

How exciting is 15 home wins in five years for Jameis? Woohoo!

  125. Tbbucs3 Says:

    SteveK

Maybe the lack defense has a lot to do with that cause ya know , top 3 scoring offense…..but the defense being bad doesn’t fit your narrative so I get it.

  126. Hethrew 30 Says:

Two biggest morons in the history of football…thank goodness they have fake names and….as a humanitarian who desires that two people could not be so retarded….so hopefully they are the same loser….July Joe and Jameis 1 of 1. Epic failure, thank goodness no one at One Buc Place bought the stupidity. Just sayin…But I do think Ndog is their adopted son.

EXACTLY. What does that tell anyone? THIS is where Winston plays and the fanbase is pretty split about keeping him or throwing him away HARD. Winston is a joke around the NFL…I have not seen ANY calling for people saying “Oh yeah, let’s go get Jameis and have be the face of our franchise.” Winston will be Joe Burrow’s backup in CIN. And he may Tim Tebow’s teammate in baseball one day. Except Tebow actually was liked by fans and won a playoff game.

  128. Cobraboy Says:

    Wow.

NDog has a serious case of emotional butthurt.

  129. Mike in MO Says:

I just heard that the Raiders are close to signing Mariotta. Wow. To think that he is getting offers before America’s Quarterback.

  130. Dom>Licht Says:

So exactly how many teams offered America a deal today….. waiting …. Joe?? NDOG ?? Thought ALL of America would have been at his door step with buckets of cash! The other 31 teams have spoken.

  131. Mike in MO Says:

I’m thinking America’s Quarterback market value is near that of Case Keenum dollars: 3 years for $18M TOTAL. Average of $6M per year.

Who cares? But if you want to play this game who has signed Rivers, who has signed Bridgewater, who has signed Brad?

But Case Kenum has signed so he must be awesome right?

  133. Mike in MO Says:

The silence regarding other teams interest in America’s Quarterback is deafening. I have yet to hear a single rumor about any team, other than the Bucs, who are talking to him. Stunning.

  134. Dom>Licht Says:

Rivers and Brady are washed up old men. Bridgewater a back up for Years! Jamies is the only young “ quality” starter sitting out there. 1/2 dozen teams are draft unproven rookies and his own team doesn’t want him. Thought at least one team would have kicked the tires on America.

  135. #1 Pick QB 2 Cent Brain Says:

Mariota getting more offers than Jameis… damn

  136. Dom>Licht Says:

seriously Mariota to the Raiders…. Jamies agent has to simply
Be asking for WAY to much $$

  137. Dom>Licht Says:

Thought the dumbest thing I had seen today would have had to be the Texans trade. Give to Licht He is not as dumb as OBrian.. could you imagine Mike Evans traded to Arizona for an old RB.. that being said seeing that the Vikings made Kirk the highest paid player in the league again is Mind blowing.

  138. wantstastayabuc Says:

Winston to the Boca Ciega High Pirates for $375!

    Go Bogie!

  139. Mike Johnson Says:

Jameis signs with Tampa. 2 yrs ..18mil

  140. THETRUTH Says:

Have not heard anyone say they have interest In JW. YOur headlines are misleading. NFL network and ESPN insiders have not reported anyone to actually call about JW

The latest one is Jameis Winston. According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Jon Gruden is interested in signing Winston.

    Woop’s

where do you see that? everything is just talks and rumors that I can find

  143. Buczilla Says:

Say goodbye to Derrick Brown or Javon Kinlaw with ok ur first round pick.

  144. James Walker Says:

The NFL is becoming too much like a soap opera.

  145. Buczilla Says:

*our first round pick. Damn spell checker.

  146. MTM Says:

Lynch would have been a great GM for the Bucs. But as per usual the Glazers opted for an inexperienced GM instead who picked a kicker in the 2nd round.

  147. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

    Proof-read Joe, proof-read.

  148. Bigpaa43 Says:

Bucs fans are so ignorant. Tampa Bay cant run the ball and now you have a Quarterback who didn’t complete a pass over 25 yards last year. Oh yeah his QBR was the same as Jameis so they definitely didn’t upgrade the position by signing Brady.
