Bucs “Played Dumb” Early

December 8th, 2019

Stong play coninues.

The strong second half of the season for the Bucs’ No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 draft keeps rising.

Linebacker Devin White had a key forced fumble with 10:45 remaining to help the Bucs rise from the depths to upend the Colts today at the Den of Depression.

Joe spoke with White after the game and he admitted everyone on the team had to have fortitude to really and close the game out.

“This game was a resilience game,” White said. “Not giving up.”

In fact, White said the Bucs “played dumb” in the first half. On offense that was three turnovers. On defense, the Bucs couldn’t stop a cool breeze.

When Joe asked White if he was referring to the offensive play in the first half given how they were moving the ball very well but also playing Santa Claus, White barked, “Both sides of the ball!”

But White made sure to praise many players on both sides of the ball for not giving up, and for finding something in their inner selves to battle back and put the Colts away.

I just love this guy……have a strong feeling that so will everyone else once they get over that White can’t help where he was picked…..all he can do is his best and I believe that’s what he’s doing.

    This guy is really good

Would love to see his LSU QB wearing that matching uniform for us next season..I would give anything for it!

Heck yeah we played dumb in that 1st half. And it starts with our QB making dumb reads. Resilient is a good word. I think we all should know by now Winston has it. The rest of the team prooved they now have it too!!

Major confidence check moving forward. Now the leader got to step up and be the first to step up his game.

We could have throtted that team today. And next time we get a matchup like that I wanna see us do just that!!

    GO BUCS!!

Let the Bucs get good and then we can be great!

I still think our best acquisition would be to go after Bridgewater, Brees is not ready to retire. Teddy is a very accurate passer even under duress.

Jean…….Seems like the wrong conversation for the wrong day but you gotta lay off Bridgewater talk. Don’t know who has started it or who keeps his name relevant but it’s completely and totally unrealistic.

It’s an absolutely baseless idea with no though behind it. In short Bridgewater never has and never will ever be asked to run a offense like the one we have in place in Tampa. It’s a very senseless idea that doesn’t fit at all.

Not saying it’s not fair to talk about other options but it’s a absolute waste of time to put Bridgewater’s name into the ring. It’s just a bad idea and a unrealistic idea. Andy Dalton literally makes more sense and that simy a fact.

    Average Jameis for the win!

This incessant talk about changes while this season is not over. How about the guy a week ago who wanted the Detroit QB after the first half of the Thanksgiving game? Where is he today?

OOOOHHHHHHH!!!! I see…..Game saving play by “SAVIOR” Mr. White, hidden in the Bucs “played dumb” early article (i know, his quote)……good gosh, the Joe who hated the pick of White is a serious piece of work slighting him like this….Devin deserves an article of his own like Barrett too, but whatever, your site and slight….unreal

  10. Pick6 Says:

He’s what we were told he’d be. Might be this generation’s Sapp among Bucs fans. Seems capable of transforming a defense with his attitude and skill

Yea I’d like to have Jake barrow to but that ain’t going to happen. If Winston can just cut his turnovers in half we will be fine. Defense is improving. Today was another learning curve but they stepped up at the end of the day good job boys
