“They Found A Way”

November 10th, 2019

Holly Sonders’ boyfriend talks Bucs’ comeback.

Usually, the Bucs find a way to shat the bed, especially at the Den of Depression, and lose games.

It isn’t often an opposing coach credits the Bucs for doing the very opposite.

But that was just what Arizona coach Kliff Kingsbury after the Bucs beat his team today. He gave the Bucs credit for making plays at the right time in order to win a ballgame.

“You have to give them credit,” Kingsbury said of the Bucs. “They found a way.”

And what was the main way he felt the Bucs won? It was finding ways to get Mike Evans the ball. And Kingsbury would know about Evans first-hand. Kingsbury was Evans’ offensive coordinator at Texas A&M.

“Mike Evans is the best receiver in the league.”

I believe one major one of those ways was L. David stripping the ball saving JW from yet another turnover leading to opponent points.. Cardinals score at that point, go up 2 scores and likely they win the game!

@Tye stats dont matter, thats what you all keep telling us. Wins and loses are all that counts.

Finally Bucs didn’t lose it late in Q4. Hope this is a start of some momentum.

It’s funny how “finding a way” means getting a lead and needing a routine defensive stop against a losing team.

    Dean played very well too!

Chris….agree Dean did play very well and we all got lucky.

Dean made a great heads up play for that int but the guy he was covering fell freeing Dean of responsibility.

Poor Kyler Murray…he had set the record for most attempts without an INT…Imagine JW doing that!! and then his target falls setting up the int.

I tend to look at athletic events as one side won…or perhaps one side just lost the game. Today both teams did what they could to throw the game away…missing wide open receivers downfield and then having a receiver fall for an int.

EITHER team could have won this contest. I embrace the win but I do not fool myself.

Jamel Dean would have had that INT even if the WR didn’t fall, it looked like Dean had position on the WR before he fell. That’s something we don’t get to say very often regarding our secondary.

They bounced back. Maybe they finally are starting to understand. If you’re not the most talented CB, at least be the smartest and be in position, take the right angles, make sure you got help, etc.

Let’s see how they do against a better team next week.
