Excuse maker
Last week marked the first three-game, regular-season losing streak of Bucco Bruce Arians’ NFL career.
Now it stands at four after his team looked undisciplined with 11 penalties.
Arians was gushing over the Bucs’ effort after the overtime loss today on the Buccaneers Radio Network, but he also dropped quite an excuse.
“The travel of the seven weeks finally caught up to us,” Arians said of a pregame injury to Carlton Davis and in-game injuries to Anthony Nelson and Carl Nassib.
That shaking head belongs to Joe. We’re going to blame travel for injuries?
Man, Joe can think of much more that went wrong today than a plane ride to Seattle. The Bucs have a freakin’ sports science team, had a bye week just two weeks ago and these are professional athletes.
Joe’s not a fan of those kinds of excuses. The Bucs choked away a big lead. They certainly came out ready to play.
Joe suspects Arians has to be feeling punched in the gut by his team. Nothing’s working. The team doesn’t know how to win and the defense is in shambles with his handpicked coordinator and talented they chose together.

Where are the transitional Veterans in the Secondary? Are you telling me that this team would be worse having Robert McClain or Keith Tandy on the roster? I am sick of seeing rookies fed to opposing Pro Bowler QBs to be eaten alive year after year. They will never develop into good players if they are thrown into the fire instantly.

You know I’m glad I was able to watch Tampa win a super bowl cause it’s never going to happen again. Did you that statistically the Buccaneers are the worst pro sport team in the country by a very large margin. You will forever suck Tampa.

DO NOT PAY WINSTON STARTING QB MONEY!!! He is average at best. Arians will most likely retire soon. Get rid of Winston and bring in a new, young, coach like the Rams have.

Don’t normally watch the press conference but I wanna hear him address the Dean disaster today. The guy is clearly not ready to play in this league yet. Totally unacceptable to keep him on the field. I hope our reports pound him with multiple questions about Dean specifically.

What we learned from this game is JW plays well out on the west coast..
So leave him out there…
The Bucs strongly need to be fully invested in doing all they can between now and the draft to make the best decision at the QB position as to whether their best option is a vet QB ( Philip Rivers, Foles, whoever), the best rookie to draft in 1st round or both…

It’s pretty bad when I hope for the Bucs to lose at this point in the season. Why win? It’s worse draft position. Problem is, I don’t trust Licht AT ALL to make any competent decisions in the draft process. I say blow this entire team up and start over. Keep a select few and replace the rest. That also means the gm, hc, (I wish the owners), janitors… EVERYONE!!!

We don’t need to draft a quarterback we need a defense. I’ve been saying this for a long time but all you guys see is Jamies. I told yall that ain’t no quarterback is going to help this team win. Until we get back to building a defense we ain’t going to win nothing. Defense wins championships. Jamies is good enough to win with he needs to play like he did today running the ball if nothing is open. Or even throw on the run. That’s his game not this stand in the pocket crap all the time. He needs to go back to making plays with his legs sometimes. They took a td from us on a 25 yard run by Jamies . First pick needs to be a pass rusher or offensive lineman. Than go all in on defense.
