  1. D-Rome Says:

I’m very confident there is a good possibility he may not be here next year.

  2. Mike Johnson Says:

I said it prior to all of the seasons hype. These Fans are gonna turn on Arians quicker than an Arizona Diamonback if he does not win. And man, are they turning. You got one more year Bruce to right this ship. Good luck sir. I am pulling for you. Schiano/Lovie/Koeeter and Smitty already got a fresh tackle box ready for you down at the losers fishing hole. Don’t join them. Right this Ship.

  3. DB55 Says:

We are all very confident. Lmao

  4. Buccernutter Says:

Wow I feel bad for Bruce. He didn’t realize he was gonna have to deal with the dumbest fan base in sports.

  5. doctor_berto Says:

Buccernutter, the fanbase is dumb because they are sick of losing? Sounds to me like the dumb ones are the ones blindly supporting a losing franchise no matter what.

  6. ClodHopper Says:

    No confidence.

Not only does it look like he’s given up on the culture, he’s making it worse with his dumbass (straight gangsta) in-game management

  7. Jean Lafitte Says:

I like Arians but his Air Coryell offensive scheme puts to much undo pressure on a mediocre offensive line with a wildly inaccurate QB. I think BA could be the answer if he were willing to bring in another offensive coordinator that utilizes more of an Andy Reid type west coast or a Josh McDaniel’s spread type offense where there is an emphasis on getting ball out early with short to intermediate route trees.

  8. BuccaneerByBirth Says:

Emotional response from the fan base here. I’m confident in BA abut I have zero confidence in the dumbass GM

  9. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    D-Rome Says
“I’m very confident there is a good possibility he may not be here next year.”

Not a chance the Glazers will fire him. Not after this season. More likely, they will order Licht to get a veteran QB who has a proven track record, and draft a rookie to develop.

And don’t discount the possibility that the time Arians has had to work with Griffin could pay off. There must be a reason the guy has stuck around so long.

“Emotional response from the fan base here. I’m confident in BA abut I have zero confidence in the dumbass GM”

Well, it should not bother you having him here then, because from the moment Arians was hired, Licht had very little say in the players we brought in.

  11. NPRSageBoy Says:

Stupid is as stupid does – Forrest Grump

  12. Howard Cosell Says:

    Glazers dreadd firing Licht because:
1.) They have absolutely no clue what to do afterwards
    And the big one
2.) Then they have to speak to the fans… and what are they going to say Lol?
    Stock is down bro!

  13. D-Rome Says:

    Bonzai,

I agree there is no way the Glazers fire him. I was contending that he may just say to hell with this and go back to retirement. I wouldn’t blame him. I mean, I know *you* think this team is about 7 plays away from being 10-0 but I have been predicting since the draft this team wasn’t going to win more than 6 games. There’s too many needs and the team is too far away from contending for anything.

  14. D-Rome Says:

And don’t discount the possibility that the time Arians has had to work with Griffin could pay off. There must be a reason the guy has stuck around so long.

This is a very interesting point and I agree.

  15. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

    Dropped him to a C
for disregarding the 52 other roster guys careers and heath continuing with the Jamyth experiment all the while not having a capable alternative @ #2 QB…

  16. SteveK Says:

    Buccernutter,

You’re implying that you are a part of the “dumbest fan base” on earth?

Lol! You are a part of the problem with an inability to look at the total picture. Wake up
    And smell the turnovers.

  17. Crack3rK Says:

    Forget Arians, Licht must go!

  18. 813bucboi Says:

    confident

    GO BUCS!!!

  19. tmaxcon Says:

i hear the nfl is canceling the super bowl and just awarding the Lombardi to the team with the fewest interceptions.

  20. JustBucNwin Says:

No confidence…what has he done to warrant any?

    – Giving BL play calling duties
    – The secondary is “totally fixed’
    – Mis-managed players (TE usage, Rojo not starting week 1)
    – Excuse after excuse for JW
    – Challenge flag mis-management

    Want me to continue??????????

  21. Buccernutter Says:

Wow two people responded to my comment and seemingly created their own context of what I mean.

Berto, no. If you don’t know what I mean than you’re either who I’m referring to have absolutely no awareness of this fan base. Or football in general. It’s not because we’re sick of losing lol. That was just stupid. I’m not going to explain because you’re so far off.

Steve. Again you created your own context to MY post. You might be who I’m referring to. I was born into this s*** fan base. I will always be a buc fan. But what I posted has nothing to do with the turnovers. Again, you seek to hard to teach so ya man whatever you say.

Thanks for giving me examples of the dumbest fan base in sports. Funny how people pigeonhole themselves and don’t even know what I’m talking about. Haha. 😂

  22. Buccernutter Says:

    Seem**

  23. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Over 56% say little to no confidence

BA’s BS has worn thin and smart fans know he’s not all in

  24. Troy Says:

I definitely don’t think the fanbase is dumb. Passionate – yep. Over-reactionary – yep. Sick of Losing – yep. Tired of seeing the same team year after year – yep. I’ve lived all over the country and I’ve been a Bucs fan since 1976. Fans are the same everywhere. I live by Chicago now. Come up here and listen to what the fans have to say about Trubisky. It sounds eerily familiar to what I see on these very message boards about Winston. Come up here and see what’s written about Nagy. He was the anointed one last year. Now, he forgot how to coach. Fans are fans. They’re passionate and they want to win. Fans are stupid. They’re perceptive to a fault.

  25. Jean Lafitte Says:

    Buccernutter

You really think insulting an entire fanbase will somehow bring them into Buccernutters way of thinking? That’s like Billary Clinton calling half the country deplorable. F U and your insults

  26. JimmyJack Says:

Got no problem staying totally conifident. I am willing to let the season play out and will likely remain confident all the way through. A quick fix would have been nice but in the end my main goal was lasting stability which can very well be ackomplished if we just have patience.

  27. Buccernutter Says:

You just proved to me how dumb most of you are. I mean really? When someone says democrats are the dumbest people on earth, do you take them literally as int they are referring to everyone?

Jean you are the epitome of what I mean. LOL I see your posts.

It’s so funny how mad you guys get. Keep pigeonholing yourselves.

    Dumbest fan base in sports.

  28. DooshLaRue Says:

    Jean is solid as usual.
    Bucnutter is still oblivious…..

    ….and a total moron.

  29. JimmyJack Says:

So Buccernutters main purpose of posting here is to name call Buc fans. I’ll chalk this up to a disgruntled fan with misplaced anger.

Understandable really. But maybe you could use a break from the Buccaneers nutter. Might do ya some good.

  30. firethecannons Says:

Arians wants to minimize Jameis interceptions, saying in his mind he only has 10, all quarterbacks have interceptions that are not their fault yet they all count-same should be for Jameis. He needs to be judged on same scale as all of them. Obviously Arians is trying to prep us into accepting resigning him. Jameis is not a winner for this team after 5 years and has made innumerable mistakes that cannot be excused. Ready for for a new direction cause this road has led us into Bucs cove again.

  31. Bucsfanman Says:

JimmyJack- I stand by mine as well. We’ve asked a HC to come in with the worst defense in the NFL, a turnover-prone indecisive QB, a porous OL, decades of poor personnel management, no money for FAs, and want him to turn this crap-show into a contender overnight?!
I’m sick of losing too but think about how long this has festered. We’re trying to change a culture here, no easy task!

  32. JimmyJack Says:

Troy that’s the funny part. Fans everywhere are basically the same.

The funniest is the Winston defenders who act like fans are too critical. Many other cities can get way worse then we have been……..You mentioned Chicago. Winston would have been booed out of that home stadium years ago……as well as many other cities.

  33. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

Totally unrelated, These polls prove the need for having the electoral college. The results of these polls swing after wins and losses like you wouldn’t believe

  34. Buccernutter Says:

You guys keep calling yourselves. All’s I have to do is say the fan base is dumb and the one’s I’m referring to get offended and post. Thanks

    JimmyJack

Oh I’m disgruntled but not with the team. With the fan base. I mean this poll was overwhelmingly in support of Bruce and is now what it is in less than one season. That is what I’m referring to. I actually have patience with him because I’m aware of what it takes to win in this league and it seems most people expect a drastic turnaround after 10 games. It’s unrealistic and ignorant like the select few that opposed my post. I don’t even have to use examples because they did it on their own, ironically.

Keep getting mad at facts but this fan base is slacking. I mean watch a game, it’s evident.

  35. Buccernutter Says:

    Dooshlarue

Thanks for your excellent commentary. You’re a true fan and provide well informed analysis and your posts are full of substance!

    Great job Doosh!

  36. Buccernutter Says:

No better way to disprove how dumb you guys are than to post insults back at me when they may not have even been directed at you! You guys have what it takes to cheer on the bucs!

Especially doosh! He has a witty insult locked and loaded and ready to be unleashed at any given time!

  37. stpetebucsfan Says:

    Jean Lafitte

Agree with your post about running the wrong offense given our personnel. D.R. frequently makes the same point.

D.R.’s name implies how he feels…defense wins championships.
I can’t really argue that point. He also adds that the old AFL offenses can no longer work in the NFL. He may very well be correct. I hope he’s not but I really can’t debate that given how today’s offenses look around the league.

You mentioned Air Coryell…his predecessor Sid Gilman was one of my faves in the 60’s. Hadl to Alworth just fired me up. I love long bombs.

So a question for you…again agreeing with you that we do not have the personnel for this…beginning at QB with a tiny hand QB who doesn’t spin it…has minimal accuracy on long bombs…

But what if we DID have the personnel? Could it even work in 2020?

  38. Fire Goodell Says:

He said he was only interested in coaching the Cleveland Browns. They weren’t interested in him so perhaps they know something we don’t?

  39. Tbbucs3 Says:

Do a Jason Licht confidence poll

  40. Buccernutter Says:

    Bucsfanman

It’s refreshing to see intelligent posts on here. Thanks for the substance that a lot of these people lack.

It takes time. Year 2 is the real deal, unless of course we reload at Qb then give it another 3 years or more just to discover it’s still the defense and OL.

  41. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Fire Goodell

The Browns don’t know anything. They hired a RBs coach as their HC

People are really down on BA but he has enough experience and I trust him to bounce back as long Jason Licht is not here.

What I don’t like about BA so far (aside from the Leftwhich expiriment) is that he has appeared very fake during his press conferences, aI haven’t been able to trust anything he says to the media.

  42. JimmyJack Says:

Ok Buccernutter I can see your point there. Though I wouldn’t call that dumb. That’s just being fickle or fairweather. Really just a kneejerk reaction which is not unique at all to our fanbase. Just read Troy’s post above……Heck I can even remember 5-6 years ago when the Patriots got off to a slow start and lots of fans were saying Brady was too old and washed up.

It’s a wierd part of the sports world that is a fine line to try to avoid sometimes. You know little things like calling Vita a bust after three games or predicting SBs after a 9-7 season. Not sure where those mindsets come from but I guess many fans just love to feed off raw emotion. Must be how they get their entertain from it.

Anyways point is it’s part of every fanbase across the country. Nothing different here then anywhere else.

  43. JimmyJack Says:

Deal with it. Deal with it.

  44. Anonymous Says:

55% little to no confidence from folks here with likely some football IQ. Then, look at those who’d buy tickets if they were “confident” but don’t. Empty RayJay.
Finally, Then move to the very casual fans who used to watch or sometimes watch, and you can bet they don’t even care.

  45. JimmyJack Says:

And I always take it personally when somebody talks smack about our fanbase. Don’t care what the point is or who it’s directed at. Anybody who is suffering through this team like I am and will stand strong in their fandom is A OK in my my book. Mad respect for all y’all who geniunly will never quit on this team. I got your back………Don’t mean I agree with all you opinions but if somebody’s attacking you I got a problem with it too!!!

    GO BUCS!

  46. Buccernutter Says:

    Jimmy

I respect that response. Good points.

However, I wish that was the only reason I feel this way about this fan base.

  47. TiredBucsFan Says:

How about a Jason Licht poll?

  48. Buccernutter Says:

I just wanted to add you’d be surprised by the number of people that share the same sentiment as I do. I’ve seen and implemented polls on social media and it would blow your mind.

Not to mention some of these people that post daily. I won’t call em out but you seem smart, it’s obvious who they are.

  49. Wesley Says:

    Get rid of his @ss.

  50. Show me the TDs Says:

His defense of JW dropped him down a notch in my poll.

  51. Buccfan37 Says:

Nearly everything has been tried to stabilize this broken Buc ship and crew. Not much has worked. It’s a somebody done somebody wrong song.
