Racking Up The Miles

September 3rd, 2019

“Jason, get Schiano on the phone. I want to know how he regulated flight temperature?”

Take a wild guess which east-coast based NFL team will endure the most travel this season.

Correct! It’s our beloved Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Joe’s got the numbers.

Per NFL.com, the Bucs’ travel miles will total 27,670. Most NFL teams are under 18,000 miles for the 2019 season.

Traveling takes a toll, but it’s certainly no excuse. The mighty Rams will traverse 36,186 miles this season, followed by the Seahawks and Chargers on the NFL’s list of frequent fliers. The 49ers, the Bucs’ opening day opponent, check in next. They’re one slot ahead of the Bucs with a total of 30,210 miles scheduled.

Bucco Bruce Arians raves about his sports science team and how they know how to study the body and plan for the wear and tear of the season, which includes excessive travel. With opening day in extreme heat, followed by the quick turnaround of Thursday Night Football, and then a Los Angeles trip in Week 4 before a Week 6 a game in England, those folks will earn their salaries before the bye week.

more excuses…… it’s not like this bums are flying commerical and staying with joe at the motel 6…. i am just curious if that golf cart can reach the airport from the stadium when BA plays the health card and bails on this circus… nothing would be funnier or more buc like than for BA to ride that golf cart right out of the stadium to airport in the middle of a 3rd qtr meltdown…. it’s a bucs life after all….

Long plane rides????? Is that the new excuse???????? I don’t see this team losing a bye-week due to a hurricane, I don’t see this team dealing with the distraction of hard knocks!!!!! I don’t see the QB suspended for multiple games!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t see half of the defense out for injuries for the first 4 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the “real” fans want to see is them being held accountable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 offseasons for light weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its time to see the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2019 will reveal answers to the sheep, that the “real” fans already know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully BA can make it through the first year…it’s going to be a challenging one. There is always the possibility of a Fred Sanford false alarm heart attack or two along the way. I was all for the BA hiring…just hope he doesn’t decide he doesn’t need this shat before too long.

joe i finally realized what that golf cart is missing… i am sure bonzi has some promotional Elves left over from his highly successful book launch and world tour… I am thinking a pear shaped Elf hood ornament would complete the golf cart nicely and better fit the bucs identity

i don’t think the glazers allow strippers on team flights how are these boys supposed to be mentored without the basic necessities being offered and readily available…

  15. Buc'n Enough Says:

Jason is sure getting fat off the Glazers…look at the photo..
Caption should have read ” Man BA, I hosed the Glazers again for 5 more years of SUCKING”

  16. JimmyJack Says:

Schedule is setup to have us start 3-0 easily. Also loaded with home games at the end & we also play no team coming off a bye.

This schedule is not hard at all for any good team. Y’all aren’t scared of the schedule. Your scared the Bucs will be bad again and won’t admitt it.

The schedule has never bailed out any team in league history. Don’t never expect it to start for Our Bucs.
