“Impressed With Our Work Habits”

April 24th, 2019

Lavonte David

Yesterday, Bucco Bruce Arians talked about how the Bucs were on the details in practice, no player even jumping a whistle.

Today was a different story.

Arians opened up his media session talking about being “impressed with our work habits,” noting the Bucs finished 20 minutes early, implying the pace and efficiency was ahead of the scripted schedule. He added he’s most pleased by how the team is working and its willingness to do so.

Lavonte David was particularly impressive, Arians said. David missed yesterday’s session for personal reasons and came back today “and had no mental errors.”

Yesterday, Arians ended practice a handful of plays early, saying there was no need to risk a late muscle pull. Tomorrow’s session, which is closed to media, will feature work on shortened fields and “red zone stuff tomorrow.”

It’s good to see Arians happy early. It beats the alternative. And it’s a small indication that the Bucs understand what’s expected from their third head coach in five years.

good one^ the problem is, our kids have had stunted development due to poor coaching.. SIMPLE AS THAT!

Never send a boy to do a mans job! Can the Bucs as an organization possibly understand this quote? Real men are looked down apon these days because they don’t sugar coat and could care less about hurt feelings. Real men though earn respect by grinding and never accepting failure even when things go bad.

This team is always killing it in the off-season giving head coaches false hope then folding like a cheap lawn chair as soon as the season starts

This is very encouraging! BA is going to see to it we stop beating ourselves and start playing hard and smart with excellent coaching and development.
Heck BA is already changing the culture.

I see no difference between Coach A’s and Coach K’s offseason banter. “Things are great” “I am pleased…” “Everything is Awesome”… 5-11 season promptly follows. I know Coach K can’t hold Coach A’s jockstrap but SHOW ME. I want to see it!
