Bucs Cut Six Players

April 29th, 2019

Out

No, Joe hasn’t written about new undrafted free agents yet. Nothing official is out and Joe will wait for that. However, the Bucs did cut six bottom-of-the-roster guys this afternoon.

Fan favorite Riley “Joe Dirt” Bullough was among the axed.

QB       Joe Callahan
DE       Hunter Dimick

It’ll be interesting to see if anyone picks up Bullock….if they don’t it is a reflection on GM/Coaching the past 2 years

  2. ATrain Says:

    Noooo

    Not Joe Dirt

  3. Defense Rules Says:

    It’s only just begin.

  4. SKBucsFan Says:

Getting cut by the Bucs may mean your NFL career is done. Time to start looking at the CFL. I know our Roughriders could use a player like Joe Dirt.

  5. ATrain Says:

I guess some people are just not wanted on Joes Page

Congrats on your success It’s great to be so popular you can drop fans

  6. Taylor Says:

He had heart and spunk…undersized? I bet if we didn’t take a LB so high he would have made the roster. The pats will pick him up and he will start for them. Watch

  7. LakeLand Says:

The Million Dollar Ice Cream man survived the first cut

    Congratulations!!

    Avocado Ice Cream for everyone

  8. AwShbucs Says:

You had to be a simple minded bumpkin of a Bucs fan to care about Slow Dirt. Dudes been a waste of roster space since he got here.

  9. rrsrq Says:

Expected – film don’t lie, yet the previous regime thought, well maybe they didn’t think…

  10. AwShbucs Says:

Lol @Taylor. That wont happen. You actually need to be a talented football player to make the Patriots squad. But you go head on being part of the stupid portion of Bucs fans that fall in love with bum players just because they seen them on Hard Knocks.

  11. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

Joe Dirt didn’t fit in the the speed regime …speed was his weakness all along..had a nice run and head start of life with his NFL earnings…I understand he comes from a family with comfortable wealth…he gave it all he had

  12. JimmyJack Says:

AwShucks…..Take it in the rear bro. Barely anybody saw the guy as more then a practice squad player……..Not sure why it bothers you if somebody else wants to root for an underdog.

Personally I enjoy following players like this because I know that the only reason they even get close to making a roster spot if through sheer hardwork.

Or maybe we should go by your logic and write off a undrafted bottom roster reciever that is undersized, can’t stretch the field & can only run a handful of routes.

  13. Rod Munch Says:

If Joe Dirt had accepted his nickname, had he got that Autotrader sponsorship and been doing ads on TV, things would have been different.

  14. Magadude Says:

While I like Bullough’s moxy and effort, that doesn’t alone make it as an NFL LB. It is a good thing to see Bucs that started or got regular playing time this year get the axe before season start…it shows at least the GM and coaches see progression. And not to worry about Riley…his parents are independently wealthy in their own right. He won’t starve.

  15. Dewey Selmon Says:

Let me know when we cut Jason Licht…

  16. AwShbucs Says:

As for this years UDFA’S I’ll tell you right now. Bruce Anderson from NDSU is going to turn some heads at training camp and will more than likely make the team. His tape is REALLY good but for some reason he didn’t recieve an invite to the combine. If he had he would have more than likely been drafted.

Build/Athleticism wise he compares favorably to Kareem Hunt. And like I said his tape is impressive but he didn’t have anywhere near Hunts production in college. He should at the very least compete for the role of 3rd down back.

  17. 813bucboi Says:

    dewey

    BINGO!!!!!

    licht has to go!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  18. Lord Cornelius Says:

Bruce Anderson is my favorite undrafted pick up as well in addition to the edge rusher without vision in one eye and an OG that sound like he actually might have potential to stick.

Great hands / strong for pass pro / decent measurables. Sounds like a 3rd down receiving back that we could use

  19. BucsBandit Says:

Let’s hope the next cut is that 21-33 loser named Winston.

  20. Mike Johnson Says:

Head to the Canadian league Joe Dirt. You might..get a shot there.

  21. LakeLand Says:

Jason Licht isn’t going anywhere. The Glazers love them some Jason Licht.

  22. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Bruce Anderson is from Ruskin……local kid.

  23. AwShbucs Says:

    @JimmyJack

No thanks. You may be into pegging and what not but keep that to yourself.

And you’re wrong on 2 counts. Their are certainly quite a few dummies on this site/ in this fanbase who thought Slow Dirt actually had a chance of becoming a starter. My stance has been that he simply lacks the physical tools necessary to be anything in this league.

You can root for whoever you want. And I’m not saying players cant develop. But they need to have physical potential to play whatever role they are being asked to play. Or that hard work you referenced wont mean anything.

  24. Lord Cornelius Says:

How can we blame Licht when it’s obvious each staff he’s worked with is basically running the draft and FA it seems?

Blame the Glazers for such a bad organizational approach to team building and not getting a legit GM or president of operations in the building to run everything vs hiring re-tread coaches and making Licht their lapdog and approaching everything in panic band-aid approach vs long term building.

Licht’s official position seems to be talking at press conferences about draft picks the staff wanted at this point.

Fire the Glazers IMO. Tmax has been right all along lmao

  25. mark2001 Says:

Good luck Riley…first rate heart, forth rate wheels.

  26. JimmyJack Says:

I said this before the Agayario pick that if Licht gets fired the biggest reason will be cause he can’t never find us a K.

Licht future will lie in Gays leg. If Gay busts Licht has to go. It will be the final straw.

  27. JimmyJack Says:

AwwShucks I can agree with you on that. Where I take exception is when you call the guy a bum.

The guy had to work his ass off just to avoid being one of the first roster cuts in his first training camp. Then had to work even harder each week to avoid more roster cuts. He has to be one of the hardest workers on the team to have ever made it that far………You can call that a bum if you like but I’m here to tell your that you are wrong.

  28. AwShbucs Says:

Well sure in that respect maybe bum is a bit harsh. But when I use it I mean it in the “He’s a no talent bum.” way.

Honestly from what I remember the reason Bullough stuck around was because he was talkative during practice and the idiotic coaches fell in love with him. He never showed me a shred of potential on film so I guess that’s why i took umbrage to simpletons hyping him up…

  29. rrsrq Says:

Joe Dirt made this roster because the roster was weak and the LBs were going down with injuries, he was cut and stayed unemployed for like 6 weeks, nobody else even picked him up on their practice squad.

  30. Rod Munch Says:

If we didn’t draft White, then Joe Dirt would literally be competing for a starting spot. That’s why we drafted White.

  31. JimmyJack Says:

Ok fair enough. Let’s kiss and make up now.

And don’t worry about dumb fans. Every fanbase needs all types of fans. Even dumbasses. It’s what makes the world go round.

  32. JabooBuc Says:

I love it when actual No Talent Bums go out of their way to rip actual talented people by calling them No Talent Bums. These guys they actually make an NFL roster are part of the 1% that have the talent to play professional football. How about showing just a bit of respect for these guys chasing that dream.

Why not reserve the word Bum for those guys that waste that opportunity like a Tyreek Hill?

  33. TampaBay55 Says:

Hm. Looks like Licht still doesn’t understand that McCoy has no trade value.

  34. Pa Privateer Says:

Bullough will be back at some point. Injuries happen, unfortunately.

  35. Joeypoppems Says:

Are they still above the 90 man limit after these cuts? Or are a couple more cuts coming this week?

  36. tmaxcon Says:

Joe dirt is backup on most texas high school teams yet low standard bucfan is butthurt this bum was released… Glazer’s have trained low standard bucfan well

  37. tmaxcon Says:

    Jaboo

Respect is earned by winning on the field not by embarrassing the sport of football

  38. Sarasota Garey Says:

I think we save 5-6 mil if we cut Ryan Smith and Gholston

  39. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

Joe Dirt was too slow for these Bucs, that’s what doomed him.

  40. louden Says:

    should have cutted Jason Licht
after all the years with him, Suckaneers have a rotten Roster (still)
and are even in CapHell (at least Dominik could manage money)

The Suckaneers need to hire a guy who is able to evaluate talent and that is able to build an team..

this team has rotten talent and no depth.. and no money..

and this season the Suckaneers will suck again…

year after year i see the Suckaneers having the oppertunity to actaual build a good team by drafting the guys i (an average armchair GM) like.. they even get the opportunity to do so..

but year after year they choose to go with another Suckaneer and the players i wanted all go on to have a good career!!

    thats the truth…

    so Bucsfans:

if you want a competetive football team, then get the Glazers to hire an intelligent Football guy who is able to evaluate talent and building an team >>> start boykotting the Games or Glazers simply won’t care..

  41. Tampabaybucfan Says:

NFL players are an elite group of athletes……they are not bums, UPS drivers or Claims Adjusters (no offense to those professions)…..they are usually college grads and work very hard to chase their dreams… we should wish all of them well.

We will be able to see how good we are by who ends up being cut and who ends up on our roster…..long way to go.

  42. LakeLand Says:

Jason Licht reminds me of Phil Krueger, when he was GM. But Phil Krueger use to admit that he was a puppet GM. A reporter ask Phil Krueger about a player that was drafted. Phil Krueger told the reporter…I don’t know much about the players that was drafted….All I do is sign them.

  43. JabooBuc Says:

Why don’t you people reserve your bitching for when this new regime fails? This is their first off season with this team and we have yet to play a game. I can say with 100% accuracy that BA and TB had their hands all over this draft. Let it play out and then bitch if it doesn’t go well.

  44. LakeLand Says:

This ” Retread” coaching staff will improve the Bucs.

They will finish 6-10 this season

  45. Buc50 Says:

Joe Dirt was slower than his last name and people are upset he got cut??? If we are rooting for him to make the team, we are rooting for 5-11 again.

  46. JabooBuc Says:

    Who’s upset he got cut?

  47. louden Says:

    @JabooBuc

well, this regime simply continues clueless FreeAgency approach and plain stupid drafting

therefore, the Suckaneers have already failed again..

they don’t have to play next year – wouldbe nice if they (Glazers) would say:

okay we sit this season out without playing ball, and in exchange we get the first pick Overall..

no need to play a season with such a low talented team..

    as i said:

every player i wanted the Bucs to draft went on to have a good career .. while the Suckaneers draft busts and undervalued guys..

and they cutted guys like Bennett and Matt Bryant, while the, were perfectly fine players…

Suckaneers RosterBuilding is just shamefull and/or llaughable – as are the Glazers..

but they won’t care as long as the profit is there..

so start boykotting the Suckaneers fellow fans!

    or nothing will ever change..

they simply need an intelligent football guy able to evaluate talent and able to build a roster!

this “professional” team is beyond rotten because of its management (since over a decade!)

  48. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    John Singleton 1968-2019
Thanks for Reppin’ the trials & tribulations of the block.
    U helped start a conversation.

    Rest In Peace Bredren.

  49. louden Says:

    hahahaha

I’m a freaking arm chair GM but i am realy better than the whole Buccaneers Organization @ evaluating Players

and i guess i would be better at Roster building too 🙂

and one question to the Joe(s) :

why advocating to draft a RB when the O-Line is as rotten as the Suckaneers O-Line?

don’t you like to improve the Passing- and Running Game by an good O-Line?

don’t you think an good O-Line can make average RB’s look like Stars (that happens in College football all the time)

dont you think that with all of the above it would male more sense to improve the O-Line before you invest in a RB?(!)

    have good day/night
    generally love your work Joes

  50. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @Luv

Amen brother. Singleton was a giant talent.

As for cuts…Gholston just became expendable if Nelson can really play. Physically and stylistically they seem to be the same player except one is a lot cheaper. Bye bye Gholston.

  51. JimmyJack Says:

Lakeland. Bryon Leftwitch is no retread. He’s a up and comer whose worked his way and Tampa is a promotion for him.

You have to admitt that Bryon has a great setup in front of him with a full arsenal of receiving weapons. His boss is the QB whisperer so Byron is expecting good QB play. He does have work to do in the run game.

All in all Tampa Bay is a great opportunity for an OC. Don’t be surprised if Bryron is a hot commodity next year and interviewing for HC jobs in 2020.

Leftwitch is hungry to do a awesome job here. That a good thing for Buc fans.

  52. Figures Says:

    6-10

  53. LakeLand Says:

    JimmyJack

Harold Goodwin is the O-Line coach and run game coordinator
Byron Leftwich is the OC and passing game coordinator

Where is the full arsenal of receiving weapons?

  54. JimmyJack Says:

    Add playcaller to Bryrons duties.

OJ Howard, Evans Brate……I could on but Tampa is one of the few teams to have 3 legitimate receivers. We are stacked.

  55. LakeLand Says:

They’re going to miss Hump and DJAX

    Mark my words

  56. AlteredEgo Say: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

We have plenty of pass catchers…. it is the OL pass protection and run blocking along with consistent QB play that is the hill to climb and why so many are flummoxed the OL was not addressed… combined with Licht painting himself into a cap trap.

  57. JimmyJack Says:

Hump they will miss. But not Djax. He was terrible as a Buccaneer. Just go look at his stats. Generic at best.

  58. LakeLand Says:

The stats don’t show everything. DJAX always open up room for the other WRs. The Bucs were 5-7, fighting for Koetter job. They went 0-4 to finish the season 5-11. they averaged 242 passing yards a game. They was held to 174 against the Saints, 156 against the Ravens.

    They will miss DJAX
    They missed him last season
The stat sheet don’t show everything

  59. AwShbucs Says:

    @Lakeland

Chris Godwin, Cam Brate and Justin Watson will more than make up for the loss of Djax and Hump.

Plus I have a feeling that Mike Evan’s is poised to have his best year as a pro within BA’s offense.

And give Byron a chance. He took over a rotten situation after Mike McCoy (the offensive version of Mike Smith) got fired for being incompetent and had no choice but to continue using McCoys outdated scheme and playbook. Despite this fact Byron still managed to score a TD on 80 percent of AZ’s opening drives. So he knows how to script it.

The offense will be more potent this year than it’s ever been in the history of the franchise. If the added speed in the secondary, improved coaching and aggressive scheme, and a true Alpha dog MLB can actually turn the defense around… this squad could do big things this year. But that’s a pretty big if…

    Go Bucs.

  60. JimmyJack Says:

Bro the guy was a terrible teammate.

Yeah I wanna work next to Djax while he sleeps during film study……..Get out man.

Djax was just a little biach because he had to play across from a Pro Boeler and Godwin was kicking hiss ass for playing time. He acted like a little baby cause he didn’t like bring the 3rd best WR.

We had TEs and UDFA that we’re better then Djax. And DeShawn acting like a puss about it.

On top of it all he put up no stats no yards and no INTs.

Guaranteed nobody on the team misses that scrub.

  61. JimmyJack Says:

    typos***

  62. JimmyJack Says:

And we didn’t need yards to win those games without Djax. We could have with those yard totals.

When we needed yards against Chicago and Pittsburgh Djax laid a egg. Get outta here we miss him.

  63. AlteredEgo Say: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

Just read a www story rumoring McCoy to the Browns for Duke Johnson….still doesn’t address the trenches. Say what you want about McCoy but he was and still is a very good player and chances are whoever takes his spot will not be as good

  64. JimmyJack Says:

We could of won with those yard totals.

  65. Bird Says:

Wonder if the reports about GM Dorsey interested in trading for McCoy

    Give up duke

  66. JabooBuc Says:

Bird- see this story circulating. Interesting possibility.

  67. Chris Simms 2020 GM Says:

I was searching the cuts for that 5th round kicker, Happy Gilmour. Nope, not yet.

Hey, Lakeland ^^^^ finally got something right. The date.

  68. Wisconsinbucsfan Says:

Can we have a mini camp before it is all doom and gloom…. I will tell every cow I see to pick up production because a lot of cheese is heading to Tampa to go with all the whine

  69. LakeLand Says:

Cleveland was considering trading for GMC. But this was back in January. But they signed Sheldon Richardson in March.

  70. JimmyJack Says:

What the heck? I make a post about Djax being a garbage teammate and it disappears? Why

  71. JimmyJack Says:

Anyways, DeShawn was a bad teammate and didn’t produce. Nobody on the Bucs will miss him.

  72. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I’d like to join in the discussions but every post of mine has been moderated today and some aren’t getting through….it must be a glitch because all of them are innocuous.

  73. JimmyJack Says:

Barber & Duke sounds like a beautiful combo to me.

  74. LJS4th Says:

There is going to be an XFL team in Tampa maybe a place for Joe Dirt to go!!

  75. Rick Says:

Browns interested in gmc. Duke Johnson a possibility.

  76. TampaTown Says:

    @JimmyJack:
The other day I posted a direct quote from the movie Stripes after another poster referenced it. Guess Joe doesn’t know the movie or the character Francis aka Psycho because my comments went into moderation then disappeared for no good reason.

  77. Buc4evr Says:

They better not trade GMC for Duke Johnston who is a questionable RB. They need to keep GMC now after what they did at the draft and with the lack of depth at DT. Smith and Gholston need to go.

  78. SC Bucs Fan Says:

I can’t see the Browns moving Johnson until after Hunt’s suspension is over. Not going to let Chubb have no back up for 1/2 the season.

  79. Jeffbuc Says:

Yeah you see this all the time where there is smoke there is fire. Look for the Gerald Mcoy for duke trade to happen tomorrow. Bet the bucs are asking for a 4th rounder in return also and they will settle tomorrow for duke and a 6th book it. It’s a wrap on mcsofty and we get a great 3rd down back. This was probaly in the works on draft day. So all you. What I’ve we didn’t draft a runningback fans can shove it. We are going to get a young proven runningback while dumping a soft bloated players contract. That we were going to cut anyways. And didn’t have to give up any draft picks. In Licht I trust until he proves me wrong for the 5th time. 4 out of 5 isn’t bad if your a minor league catcher

  80. catcard202 Says:

Speed is the only knock I have on Riley…Effort was there – head & heart are there…But an expected cut.

If they want to keep GMC..There’s 8-10 more that will get the Turk call, before they get there.

  81. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

There are some great people here…but there are also some real scumbags. How could someone take pleasure in another’s poor fortune?

It’s a business, but I was rooting for Riley Bullough. He may just return at some point. The roster will keep shifting about for the next few months.

The kid is a hard worker, not a bum. Hard workers are hard to find these days.

    Keep at it, Riley.

  82. Stonedbuc Says:

Dirt played in 12 games for 15 tackles. No wonder we lost.

You can go back and hear Koetter and Smitty talking about him I n hard knocks saying he isn’t fast enough to play in this league. Yet they kept him…. yikes.

  83. Jeffbuc Says:

Sc buc they will though. us bucs fans have grown tired of McCoy. But he is a name in the league. And plenty of people still think he is a top 5 defensive tackle. If you can’t tell they are on a get the fan based super excited kick. So you know profootvalltalk would have that all over there website along with espn and all the big boys. Browns get McCoy for Johnson who they were going to cut anyways. And the bucs will get the negative end of it. Did the bucs give up on McCoy to early. After all the bad defenses he has been on this was the year he could have been on a top defense with Todd Bowles and company. And the national media and fans will rag on us even more because we gave up on our one true franchise player in the last ten years. And his 35 tackles and 6 sacks will be the the stuff of legend in Cleveland this year. On his way to a pro bowl and all pro nod. While us true bucs fans know the truth. That Cleveland got a part time player who is a Michael johnson ghost mode in the 4th quarter. Who the only time you ever here his name called in the 4th quarter is when he jumps offside in a critical moment or the announcer thinks he has a season ending injury as he is rolling around on the ground in agonizing pain only to return 1 play later and go the rest of the game without even being mentioned. It’s amazing what a name will do for you in atrade. Just like in a draft. Fans get pissed because you don’t get the tmz guy everyone knows. And instead got a guy no one ever heard of rated one spot behind tmz guy. And then there gm sucks and is the worse ever. Every player taken has some negative comments from fans. You see it here a lot because we are blessed with great in state colleges with lots of talent. So college fan boys swear there teams player is the greates ever at ther position. That’s why are fan base is so torn on two of our recent first round picks winston and heargraves. FSU fans think winston is still the best ever and just needs time. But in the same breath thinks heargraves is garbage and three years is enough to prove he is. And vice versus for Florida fans. That’s what makes this sport so great. One teams trash is another teams treasure. And every little move brings hope to a fan base and hope sells tickets. Are season tickets would go up tomorrow if we trade McCoy for duke. And so would the browns. There fan base in there eyes is getting one of the best defensive tackles in the game. And all bucs fans will say we got the best 3rd down runningback in the league. It’s all about money. That’s why this trade happens.

  84. Stonedbuc Says:

Hard work=nothing…. there is a lot of hardworking people who have nothing to show for it.

  85. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    @Jeffbuc

Please clarify and name a source.

  86. Blackmagic00 Says:

So, after watching the press conferences, one thing I came away with that I didn’t really feel amongst the prior JL staffs was that this draft had much better communication. Hopefully it’s the key if you will to finally rebuilding this organization. I’m really becoming very comfortable with this draft and the way everything has been coming together. In the last 10 years I was always on cloud 9 during all of our offseason winning just to figure out that that’s all we’re good at. This one is a little different, definitely not sexy and has a true we want to build a team feel. And very interesting that the last presser Jason did he mentioned the locker room. Something everyone kinda knew, but atleast, it’s getting addressed now. Good stuff. Hope everything starts a new day in Tampa Bay!

  87. Blackmagic00 Says:

@ BONZAI Rumors are already starting to float about McCoy to Cleveland.

  88. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Rumors based on very little info from a month ago, and the Browns said Duke is going nowhere.

And Duke is a scrub at best. McCoy has to be preferred here over him.

  89. Jeffbuc Says:

Bonzai first sentence you say the browns said they aren’t trading duke. Next sentence you say duke is a scrub. So why would a team not trade a guy that is a scrub. You are contradicting yourself. So your saying the browns would rather hold onto a scrub rather than trade him for a late round pick or another player. I’m lost in your argument here. A scrub is just released. If a scrub asked to be released or traded you just say goodbye and he is traded as soon as his demands are made public.

  90. SC Bucs Fan Says:

No if you read a rumor here it must be true. After all some of the most brilliant minds and connected people post on here.

  91. admin Says:

    Francis aka Psycho

    Pee Wee Herman movie?

    Stripes?

  92. Jeffbuc Says:

Bonzai it from a report from the Akron Beacon Journal. It states the Cleveland Browns general manager John Dorsey is interested in trading for bucs defensive tackle Gerald McCoy. And they have a surplus of runningbacks. So the the logical trade would be trading disgruntled runningback duke johnson for McCoy. The draft pick return is my own thoughts. But I was stating I believ this trade will happen very soon. Being that both teams were probably trying to trade both players but didn’t get the offer they liked. So they talked during the draft and have a handshake deal. That would make sense as to why the bucs didn’t draft a runningback.

  93. LakeLand Says:

The Browns signed Sheldon Richardson to a 3 year $37 million contract in March. I don’t why they would invest another $13 million in a guy that play the same position. They did have interest in January, before they signed Richardson.

  94. Jeffbuc Says:

Sc buc fan the story is on another bucs website and states a source. It isn’t something I just read from nfl networks trades that should happen. And as a football fan you should know when you start hearing trade rumors on players they usually happen. Odell Beckham come to mind lately. Every rumor expert was saying a trade is going to happen. While gm Gettleman kept saying we didn’t just sign Beckham to a big contract to trade him. Why haven’t the bucs said a word about McCoy not renegotiating not him being on are team. Nothing don’t even mention him when talking about are defensive line. Come on if that doesn’t scream he is traded or released what does. He was told to stay away from voluntary workouts

  95. Blackmagic00 Says:

I got an alert across my phone a little bit ago about McCoy interest in Cleveland. And sorry, I didn’t pay enough attention to the source before I naturally wiped it off. Wish I would’ve looked at the source and actually opened and read the article.

  96. Jeffbuc Says:

Lakeland I just went and looked at the browns depth chart. They have Richardson and 3 other defensive tackles I have never heard of. And I am a draft nut. And college football fan. Just before you respond google Cleveland Browns depth chart look at there defensive tackles then answer your own question why they would want McCoy for a one year rental. They can afford him

  97. LakeLand Says:

Cleveland already has the best front 4 in the NFL

    DE Myles Garrett
    DE Oliver Vernon
    DT Sheldon Richardson
    DT Larry Ogunjobi

30 sacks, 60 QB hits easily

Lakeland, that’s 4 players. What’s behind them, and more importantly, do you know if they view McCoy as an upgrade to an already good front 4? Nope! You don’t! Plain and simple. Neither do we. Maybe, just by chance? They could be looking at their team and decid, “hey our team is built on the DL, why not add someone to solidify what we’re built around just incase something catastrophic happens”? Food for thought man.

Ok sorry Lakeland. They are the best so why would they want to get even better by getting a pro bowl defensive tackle and giving up onlly ther 3rd stringers runningback. I didn’t realize they were the best. So adding McCoy would be stupid. They should just stop since there the best. I mean McCoy would be an upgrade over ogunjobi because ogunjobi has 6.5 sacks combined the last two years. Why would they want to replace him since there the best for a guy who has 12 sacks in that same time frame. Basic math says 12 minus 6.5 equals 5.5. So since there the best they should say we don’t need those extra 5.5 sacks. The bucs fans thinking we are good there let’s not get better. Good thing we weren’t listening. To you when we signed rice. We were the best defense why would we need Simeon rice. Oh that’s why to make us elite and take us to a super bowl.

That trade isn’t going to happen, so arguing is pointless.

    @admin:
The movie “Stripes” with Bill Murray. Francis is a character in the movie who is really tightly wound and gives the other guys in his platoon some things they need to know about him (and the consequences of not following his rules), including he prefers to be called Psycho. This causes Sergeant Hulka (with his big toe) to utter his famous line “Lighten up Francis”
